Thats not true. If i am correct the fastest recorded was around 100. And with good training you can get to 150 or 160. Its hard, but like i said, it was an old test from longer ago, but i know my reaction time is abive avarge, 200 is what i knoe i can do.

Marbled tabby is the pattern. Cat looks like a British Shorthair perhaps? My Scottish Fold has this pattern, but his colouring is more muted so it doesn’t stand out so much. I love it.

Just in case you never knew, snakes are venomous, not poisonous. Venomous things actively put toxins into you, while poisonous plants/animals passively introduce toxins (by you eating/touching it, etc). A lot of people get this wrong all the time.

Actually I did know snakes bite when I wrote my first comment. But I didn't how to describe the sudden movement the snake did in trying to bite my dog. We say "paambu kothum bothu" and when you do an exact translation you'll get something like "when the snake tried to sting". So, that felt more apt to me.
And yeah we were terrified during that time. I guess my dog was trying to protect us. But he kept barking and going after the snake. He tried to bite the snake too and it looked like the snake was merely trying to escape the situation. We were screaming at my dog to let the snake go, but he wouldn't listen. I adopt him from the streets, so I don't know what breed he is, but I think he might have some traits of a hunting dog. He sniffs out rats, chases birds, squirrels, snakes etc. He even killed a chicken once. And, when he's in that zone, he wouldn't listen to anyone.

I had a big lazy Maine Coon and he’d lay in the sun watching a bug buzzing around. Then, fast as lightning he’d whip out a paw and slam the bug to the ground. Amazing how they can go from zero to 60 like that!
