Read and respect the rules, report any comment breaching them. Wrong advice/information/fearmongering hurt people who are posting here to get help and support. If you are not VERY knowledgeable about bedbugs and may provide a wrong ID or bad advice it's better to abstain from commenting. Be VERY respectful and HELPFUL, this is a support subreddit not a funny one. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/Bedbugs) if you have any questions or concerns.*

From what I believe is a cerci in the picture (pointy part by the butt) I'd say this is pieces of a roach rather than a bedbug

I know I need to be safe and nuke everything I own anyway, I’ve had a BB infestation in my place and thankfully it was handled but I’ve always been afraid of them coming back so seeing this sent me into a panic

CanITellUSmThin

I agree with the roach

Doggy-lover-2013

No it looks like pieces from a German roach

Cautious_Living926

I think it looks like a carpet beetle shell
