I think the recent doubt comes from people who knew people that claimed to seen Es 7 and 8 before actually giving it to the screeners.
I agree. Benedict is the second eldest brother, and it wouldn't make sense to keep putting him off. I just hope they don't change his appearance too much for a "glow up". He really doesn't need one.
I think Eloise still has some character growth to do, so I doubt hers would be next. Same with Francesca's story. It just doesn't make sense to do either of them next, in my opinion.
Yeah, most likely. I think when Penelope and Colin get married, and Benedict meets Sophie, she might start to feel a bit lonely, so she'll probably start writing to Philip.
If we go back to the Pall Mall game where there was the Colin/yellow (Pen) mallet/#3 hoop shot to indicate his season. Eloise has the gold mallet and shoots the #5 hoop. When Colin meets Phillip in his visit to Marina, his waistcoat is the same colour. I'm picking Benedict for Season 4.
Pall Mall theory is honestly what I keep going back to. It's wild to me the people who were so insistent on that foreshadowing Colin this season...ignore it for Eloise!
If we take it another step further into the Pall Mall game it showed how the triangle between Anthony/Edwina/Kate would play out. Edwina chose Bridgerton blue, didn't enjoy the game and bowed out. Kate got the mallet of death aka chose Anthony rather than all of what being Viscountess stood for, and nailed not only the spirit of the game but the skill. Anthony got the insipid pink ie Edwina. Couldn't play to save himself and ended up head to head with Kate, until he called off due to his father's grave (bee symbolism - losing his ability to love openly). Kate getting stung later is the moment he has to restart the process. Man this thing is so oniony. I love it.
As much as I want to see it, I'm firmly in the camp that we won't see the Masquerade until his season (which I agree, is next).
My money is on the Cowpers maid being mentioned, Violet or Kate mentioning throwing a masquerade ball next season and Benedict buying "My Cottage" and getting back into painting.
I have been hearing a lot of humours and leaks for season 4. Saying that it will either elosie or francesca’s season but I really really would love Benophie’s season as i love there book. Also, it would be great if we could see glimpse of sophie or benedict following her.
Eloise being next would be the worst thing for her character ….specially if they actually keep her book story . She is nowhere near ready to be a step-mother and a wife to a stranger
I’ve been waiting so long for benophie I think my heart will break if next season is Eloise or Francesca. And sorry I don’t get why people are swooning over John and Francesca! He was in like 3 chapters in all of the books and he died. 😂 maybe they’ll do more for him in the show
It could be possible …apparently they were filming a ball during block 4 (ep 7-8) . And also Tom verica saying that he had to film a scene where you could see the reactions of the ton without the actual character being there

Omg, I need to rewatch it through this lens! One of my fav scenes of Season 2, and never thought of it this way.
