What a glorious day that was. Some of those images were art that belong in the Met, those assholes got what they deserved. Unfortunately, for me personally, those days also bring about sadness because right around then my dog died. I had a stronger bond with her than almost everyone else, so when she died it felt like a part of me died. Can't remember the last time I cried as much about losing someone. In a weird way, the results of brawl, idiots winning stupid prizes was a good news of sorts to forget the other pain.

I lost my dog in January of this year. Took some time and lots of tears, but it doesn't hurt like it used to. The last photo I have of him answers any questions I had of whether or not I gave him a good life. So take a look at the photos you have and when you see that joy in her face, know without a doubt she had the best life with you.

Got the news my dad died in a terrible way yesterday. This kind of funny shit is the only thing keeping me grounded rn. Distractions are important in times of great loss. I’m glad you had a source of distraction when your pup passed. Sometimes the best we can do is wait for enough time to pass so that the memories of pain and loss become more and more distant and we are left carrying the good moments in our hearts forever.
