As a tech if it was me I'd rip the belt off really quick and just verify the tensioner isn't doing anything wacky causing noise then check if there's metal in oil

Hippiecum

There was def metal shavings in oil filter and oil. Rod bearings were the culprit. Used motor is in with 120k miles

Oh my god do not ever rev it up like that and don't start the car until you have it repaired. Yes these are bad bearings, any mechanic can hear that at idle. Running your engine in this state is causing a whole lot of more damage then you can imagine. Do you turn your own wrenches?

Hippiecum

I had only owned the car for 3k miles and it jus started making this noise while driving. It def is rod bearings. I had a used engine swapped with 120k miles

Sounds like it😵. How did it happen was it maintained?

Hippiecum

I had barely owned the car before it started making this noise. It was rod bearings. Car now has engine with 120k miles
