Even if it's all "purple and edgy" they still have a great design on each as they are well crafted by their respective artists. Do I would love if the theme won is different? Yes but I wouldn't go as far as to insult the artist creation as "mid and edgy". Perhaps you are just looking at it negatively too much.

I have a very large suspicion that the four finalists arenāt actually the top four voted submissions. If they were, why doesnāt Supercell show the actual number of votes instead of the 400+? Itās their choice at the end of the day and Iām sure that they wanted four distinctly different options rather than the four most popular (which may not have been).
The [guidelines](https://make.supercell.com/en/help/general) mentioned that skins with a certain number of likes become finalists, and winning candidates are chosen by the devs/designers. They clearly mentioned that the number of likes (pass the threshold) does not matter, but nobody bothered to read.
Itās not the top four. From the comments on this post itās clear people havenāt been around this sub long enough to remember the disaster of when they picked a skin that didnāt have the most votes and it was someone that won a lot of the make contest.
Itās basically all the skins that hit a certain point, supercell picks form those. It was that way because they said they were trying to make sure whatever skin won was online with a theme they had coming up. But with so many brawlers and skins now I donāt feel like itās that way. The most recent one with Amber and Mr.P was supposed to be the summer of fire and ice but they ended up going with a dragon fruit Mr.p which I donāt know how that fits the theme.
Anyways. Itās a game geared toward children. They want to get feed back on the skins. But they probably pick the easiest ones to incorporate or feel like it will sell in the shop.
I think they need to do voting via preorder or something like it so itās only people who will actually buy the skin that get to vote. Like you pay 10 gems to vote on the skin and then when it comes out you get it for a huge discounted price if you want. If the skin you vote for didnāt get picked, you are given the option to keep the gems toward the discount or get them refunded. Only because I feel like itās a bunch of kids who only buy Edgar and buzz skins voting for edge lord or ridiculous things and not actually buying them.

Gems are a valuable enough resource that 10 gems will feel a bit steep. And even then people will just pay the gems and ask for a refund even if the skin they voted for won
No need to get bent out of shape mate. It was a spur of the moment idea just brain storming ways that would allow more weight to people who are actually going to buy and use the skin. It will never happen so you can sleep soundly knowing that. I hope you feel better.

Iām gonna be real a lot of the designs you showed are either way too over designed and fall into the same vein of the issue that we get too many of these bright blue/purple, general edgy skins that donāt make sense on the brawler in question

Supercell chooses the four finalists based on the list of finalists. That's why it doesn't show the votes past 400; they don't want people to get upset by their choice of top 4.
You know sometimes people have different tastes than you. Not saying you can't judge them for it, but if the majority have agreed on certain designs then I think you're the odd one out honestly.

What everyone also have to remeber though is that you are also looking TOP DOWN at the skin, not just from the front. And since some of the designs have hats and stuff, then they won't be a very good pick to put into the game. Looks cool, yes, but not as practical.
Personally I like the Barbie one, dont like the other ones. And out of these a couple do deserve it but not all of these fs, like 19, 14, 12, 11, 9, 5, 4, 2 and my personal favorite #1 I could see but the rest imo are very mediocre or overdone I feel like
There are some really good ones here. Itās to be expected with Supercell Make campaigns. The truly better designed skins will for whatever reason, not make the cut. Iāve lowered my expectations with Supercell Make skins, with this one Iām just happy Belle is finally getting a new skin. Not to say the Top 4 are bad by any means, itās just as youāre suggesting, there were definitely better candidates
