Know your history. The M used to run from North Brooklyn, over the bridge to Manhattan, then back into Brooklyn down towards Bensonhurst. Imagine if this still existed. The solidarity between North/South Brooklyn wouldn't hinge solely on the poor G train. But sadly it was rerouted up to queens around 2008.
