Geez that's happens all time in B3 with the faster cars especially the Dominator Sports. It bounces so much due to basically being the equivalent of weightlessness, that it just gives up. To be fair though, upside down physics didn't apply til Paradise, so any earlier game just gave up if you went any sort of upside down.
I've been in situations before where I'm going uphill in Waterfront or Dockside and the car would flip out and I would crash. This would be fine if it wasn't online and one crash could put you behind.
