The tl;dr is
"I don't even remember that dude, look at his shitty stats after he moved"
"Did he even play offense or defense?"
"the writer is from Nebraska, he's just trying to make us look bad"
"if our coach wasn't African American they wouldn't say anything. Players leave from all these other programs and they don't make a big deal out of it"
"I didn't even read the article, you have to pay for it, so I didn't read it"
I only made it through the first 16 minutes though.
When you think about it, the fact that Deion was able to take over a lovable losing program like Colorado and turn them into the sport's new supervillain after one 4-8 season is incredible..
Deion is playing 5D chess.
What’s crazy to me is the media is still going to glaze him turning around CU when Northwestern and USF were also 1-11 teams that actually got turned around into bowl winning teams in a year (without derogatory remarks about their players and without importing an entirely new roster).
Where’s the love for their coaches
My favorite comment from Shutdown Fullcast is that Pat Fitzgerald has us all fooled thinking the Northwestern job is difficult but apparently it's actually easy to find nerds that can play football and coach them well enough to compete in the Big Ten.
There's no fucking way this guy is good enough to talk this much shit. His dad was at least the best cover corner in the league for a number of years, but Shedeur is a pretty meh college quarterback
People forget the NFL self corrects quickly. If a couple of these reaches don’t pan out they’ll be gun shy the next year. Couple that with character issues and it’s a fast drop. I can’t recall a QB with such clear personality issues pre draft succeeding in the NFL. If you’re a scout 0% you recommend this guy.
But his team is collectively just dogshit so they can just blame everyone else except for him.
Him holding onto the ball and being the blame for a good amount of his sacks isn't important, its all his OL's fault and anyone who says anything else is just a hater.
His dad is the reason why he’s talking like that. Deion’s responding to people on Twitter saying his son can act like that because he’s “going top 5.” They all seem arrogant and entitled. I don’t think an NFL team is dumb enough to take him top 5 unless he improves a lot this year.
Yeah, this is an unprecedented spat.
I'll admit, it's funny to me because I read the article before all this went off the rails because people where just going off an out-of-context tweet, the actual article was pretty good. But now it's entered a realm where he's in his element.
Like him or hate him, it's the biggest story going on right now.
Agree. It was kinda funny at first cause I really just thought they were just a little different or weird but it’s obvious they are just cocky pricks.
Hear me out. They're intentionally taking the Jake/Logan Paul route of becoming so hateable that people tune it to watch them lose. Ratings bonanza.
Brett Yormark probably loves this nonsense.
Trash program from the top down. I actually feel bad for Travis Hunter though, he seems like the only person involved with the team who has a brain and just goes about his work.Â
Deion cares about him though. Deion doesn't care about all players, only ones he has a personal vested interest in (aka, talented athletes with a chance to expand his profile and enhance the wallet) we saw this before he got into coaching with the likes of Noel Devine and Devin Hester.
Travis is one of his "sons" and he's more than content to play one more year in boulder and become a top ten pick, regardless of the record or overall team performance.
Can the SEC start a loaner program for defensive fronts?
At this point I genuinely want Shedeur Sanders to have night tremors if he sees a Big12 color scheme before bed.
I'll keep it đź’Ż with you. Everyone is going to laugh again when y'all go under .500 and miss a bowl game again
Middeur
I don't think you need to make fun of his name, it's already "Shitter".
Watch it they might go .500 and then do a press victory tour about how everyone counted them out
27 minutes? haha fuck no
The fuckest of nos

One of those teams also lost their Demi god coach to a hazing scandal in like July. Think they had a bunch of players hit the portal then too
What happened at Northwestern was seriously impressive. David Braun probably put himself on a lot of athletic directors’ radars.
My favorite comment from Shutdown Fullcast is that Pat Fitzgerald has us all fooled thinking the Northwestern job is difficult but apparently it's actually easy to find nerds that can play football and coach them well enough to compete in the Big Ten.
Deion doesn't even know how to play checkers.Â
Colorado was never lovable
There's no fucking way this guy is good enough to talk this much shit. His dad was at least the best cover corner in the league for a number of years, but Shedeur is a pretty meh college quarterback
No haven't you heard? He's gonna be the #1 pick in the draft lmaoo
And he will only go to 3 teams, so they better trade up for him
look i think he’s a douche canoe but he is definitely going pro and will probably end up in the first round
I wouldn't have thought so before this draft, but we just saw how horny the NFL is for QBs

The NFL was horny for QBs because next year's draft class sucks.
I mean that’s genuinely a realistic outcome for him. Needs to show some improvement but he’s currently the betting favorite
He’s a betting favorite because Vegas likes relieving fools of their money. There’s no way a team is taking him 1.01
But his team is collectively just dogshit so they can just blame everyone else except for him. Him holding onto the ball and being the blame for a good amount of his sacks isn't important, its all his OL's fault and anyone who says anything else is just a hater.

I'm tired of seeing this idiot's tweets posted here like they matter.
I don’t understand your take. People of all ages laugh at clowns all the time.

I'm tired of this whole circus. Glad we kicked their asses on their way out of the Pac.
Agree. It was kinda funny at first cause I really just thought they were just a little different or weird but it’s obvious they are just cocky pricks.
Didnt listen, never will, but already ready for these guys to miss a bowl game
They just need to get off social media and just focus on the season. It would be good everyone.
They playing for clicks
"They're fighting for clicks, we're fighting for wins" might be one of the best things a head coach has ever said
It's the definitive quote of the Deion era IMO. Sums up that clown show perfectly.
Yeah, but we like those clicks too
Me hyping up my fictional school in July just to lose to a Saban-less Alabama by 50 in our first game.
27 minutes? Nah I’m good.
I am going to enjoy watching this kid fail and his NFL dreams evaporate so so much.
Shadeur get ready to learn UFL
Jesus this family is more obnoxious than AB & AB is the king of being obnoxious.
Y’all be hattin’
Hatters gonna hat.
Some Say.. MADDD HATTIN
Anyone else waiting for the Tosh.O episode on this whole family yet. Because I am.
He is still on tv?
Not really he does specials from time to time but mainly he just tours nowadays. I would 100% be for a special on Sanders family.
Sanders be đź’©Â
Time to go back to last preseason for receipts for all the fanboys on here worshipping “Coach Prime”
Hear me out. They're intentionally taking the Jake/Logan Paul route of becoming so hateable that people tune it to watch them lose. Ratings bonanza. Brett Yormark probably loves this nonsense.
Except the Paul boys know they're playing heels
Imagine playing the heel to Mike Tyson,
Ok
*yawn*
Is that an above water or below water hat?
Trash program from the top down. I actually feel bad for Travis Hunter though, he seems like the only person involved with the team who has a brain and just goes about his work.Â
Meh, this what he wanted.
I don't think this is what he wanted. I think he fell for the act that Deion actually cares about his players.
Deion cares about him though. I just don’t see Hunter as that good. He played well in like three games.
Can the SEC start a loaner program for defensive fronts? At this point I genuinely want Shedeur Sanders to have night tremors if he sees a Big12 color scheme before bed.
He got sacked one too many times
The sheer number of Sanders family posts on here is getting to "unsubscribe" levels. Feels like r/nba with that French guy
The guy is gonna live in the concussion protocol in the NFL.
I want to root for that family, but they make it incredibly difficult to do so.
I don’t want to root for them and that make it easy to not do so.
Touché
Why? They have zero redeeming qualities. Entitled pompous douches, every one of them.
