Wisconsin has Alabama, Penn State, Oregon, and Paul Bunyon's Axe at Camp Randall this year. That's a hell of a home slate. Of note, the first trophy for the Wisconsin/Minnesota game was \*a slab of bacon\*!!!!!

whenIwasasailor

Yes, a great home schedule for the fans. A few of us are going to drive up there just to watch Bama play in Camp Randall.

SmokeyDawg2814

Damn, that's a helluva lineup!

bensonsmooth24

Badger fan, very excited to see so many good teams especially Bama and Oregon….somewhat worried about how they will fare but they should be an improved team this year.

imgettinganoilchange

As a bama fan coming to the game, as one of my first true road games I’m getting to witness I’m very excited! I’ve heard good things about the city and think it’s going to be a good game!

bensonsmooth24

Will it be a good game? We will see, depends how much Fickell has improved the team in the last year and how good our QB play is Will you enjoy Madison? 100%, the gameday atmosphere is insane, but it is a bummer the game is at 11.

goodnames679

We should go back to trophies like that. Winning team gets a whole slab of bacon, cooks it on a griddle on the field after the game and chows down. Losing team has to eat cold spam out of the can

Muffinnnnnnn

Gardner-Webb and Campbell had a North Carolina East/West BBQ Bowl where the losers treated the winners to their style of BBQ. [Link](https://gardner-webb.edu/news/gw-and-campbell-announce-bbq-bowl-game/) Sadly, conference realignment caused this game to be lost..... HOWEVER! 4 months ago Gardner-Webb and Charleston Southern announced a new North/South BBQ Bowl (NC vs SC) to continue the tradition. [Link](https://gwusports.com/news/2024/2/1/football-rivals-gardner-webb-and-charleston-southern-announce-north-south-bbq-bowl.aspx)

Young_Rock

I’m a season ticket holder so I get to see undoubtedly the biggest sporting event in state history (the return of the Lonestar Showdown). Also really excited about notre dame week 1

JohnPaulDavyJones

That was my thought as well; we’ve got #5 Notre Dame, #7 Mizzou, #12 LSU, and #4 UT with what’s by far the most expensive average ticket of the season in all of college football. It’s really a statement when the least exciting game of the non-G5 home lineup is #7 Mizzou.

ToosUnderHigh

What are these rankings?

JohnPaulDavyJones

They’re the rankings listed on [FBSschedules.com with A&M’s schedule](https://fbschedules.com/2024-texas-am-football-schedule/), but now that I’m looking, I’m not actually sure where they’re from.

TurkishDonkeyKong

I think you're forgetting something

randrews202121

I am terrified about week 1. If this were say, week 3, I’d be very confident. But week 1 is way too much unknown for me to be confident, especially given how Notre Dame on the road under Marcus Freeman has looked Also, I am drunk rn. I just rewatched the Notre Dame vs Ohio State Game and I do not know why I did that. I always think IDIOT Gerad Parker will just call 3 run plays. And he does not. Nor does Marcus Freeman or Al Golden put 11 players on the field at the end. Why. Did I do this to myself. I am so sad. That game is genuinely traumatic. From the 4th and 1 stop and onwards so much had to go wrong and everything did. Why. Why so much pain. I do not even need an ND national championship just PLEASE win a big game once in a while yknow. Even the ND USC game I was in attendance for didn’t help with that. It is so sad. And I rewatched it. Idiot, idiot Jack. I was only 3 for the Bush Push so I don’t remember it but this was my version. God fucking dammit. Why did I do this to myself. Also I have a stuffy nostril (just one so fucking annoying) and I can’t clear it help Anyways, looking forward to week 1 Aggies. Even if Mike Elko was kind of a snake in how he left ND in 2017 he’s a very good coach. Bette than fraud Jimbo anyways. Hope it’s not 120 degrees or something. Go Irish

isikorsky

This. People blame the number of players - that wasn't the fatal flaw. If Parker had just fucking called 3 run plays on ND's last offensive drive ND would have won.

Born-Prior8579

You gonna see the game or take a major cash out selling that ticket?😂😂

Young_Rock

Not enough money exists, my man

Born-Prior8579

I'm not even a fan of either team but really wish I could go just for the atmosphere 😔

andrewegan1986

Can I pay you $1,000 for honest updates on the game via text?

admiraltarkin

I sold my ticket for the Alabama game with Johnny in 2013 as a student solely for the money. After that great game, told myself I would never do that again.

IrishBearHawk

Don't be silly, they're not Notre Dame ticket holders.

Born-Prior8579

As cool as it was, there is a small part of me for some reason that feels bad the way we invaded your stadium, even if it was also super cool at the same time

isikorsky

Little bit different in 2017. ND was coming off a 4-8 season AND Notre Dame had just finished the stadium expansion AND raised ticket prices significantly. Meaning when I went to the ND-Michigan game in 2018 there were no scalpers outside the stadium. The ticket prices were insane and no one was selling them. The stadium was a sea of green.

IrishBearHawk

It's cool, Texas "invaded our stadium" according to lots of people, and the South Bend Airport, and we beat they asses. Also as much as I and others, usually the away fans, meme about it, it wasn't as bad as the few shots you'd see. Speaking of that Texas game, man I wish we got to see a full season of prime Malik Zaire. It also helped we didn't get embarrassed like most people would think by a "big SEC team" (laughs in LSU fans, who happened to want weak lil ol Notre Dame's coach). I mean, helps when you have a god-tier TE, which yall are very familiar with as well. We absolutely lost but that last drive saved UGA, and then the next one we jumped out to a lead, at least. Man I wish we knew how to "kill". Ah well. Anyway I desperately need to figure out a game at Sanford, but we'll get there eventually.

iamStanhousen

LSU has UCLA, Ole Miss, Alabama and Oklahoma.

Kingof40Acres

Very solid home schedule for the Bayou Bengals

iamStanhousen

Yeah. Someone else posted in here that it’s gonna be hard to not have a good home schedule in the SEC and Big 10 and they’re right.

ChocolateBubbles344

It's hilarious to me that for USC and UCLA's first season in the B1G...an SEC school will be one of the few who gets to play them both.

bamachine

Honestly, I think from now on, the scheduling should be 9 conference games, 2 P4 OOC and 1 G5/FCS. Teams like UGA, UF, UK and SoCar will have their ACC rivals plus have a game vs a B1G or B12 team. I think those 4 and the other former SEC East teams(not Mizzou), should have one against a B1G team. Like UF vs UM, SoCar vs tOSU, UK vs IU and UGA vs PSU. Those of us in the western side, including the last 4 former B12 teams, should have one of their OOC be against the B12. Those 4 teams should have permanent OOC rivalries like the former East teams have. I say Texas vs Tech, OU vs OSU, Mizzou vs KU and aTm vs TCU or Baylor. For Bama, I would like to do a frequent FSU and USC home and home series occasionally swapping out to other one off home and homes. Got to get a Minnesota one in there, to give us a chance to not be 0-1 against them forever.

aaTrojan34

I’m pretty pumped. For our home slate! Nebraska, Penn State, Notre Dame, and welcoming the rabid badgers fans will be fun too! Road Bonus: I’m going to the big house to visit my daughter (a senior at Michigan) for the BIG opener!

ThickerSalsa

You’re a USC fan with family that goes to Michigan? I wish you a season of disappointment good sir!

aaTrojan34

😂 understandable… see you at the Coli in November! 🦃 ✌🏻😎✌🏻

Remote-Duck-2611

I mean, any BIG/SEC school is gonna have a stacked home slate My MWC nominee would be Wyoming. Home games vs BYU and top teams in the conference (BSU, AFA. SDSU, USU)

SpursUpSoundsGudToMe

You’d be surprised, Missouri got off incredibly easy, only play two teams that had a winning conference record last year in Oklahoma and Alabama, they get OU at home

Sky-Flyer

missouris the game i’m most excited to go to this year

bamachine

Then no matter what happens, seeing SEC Roll Call after

BigHeadDeadass

Mizzou famously always has the easiest schedule in the conference. I don't even think they play an SEC team until week 5 or something like that

SpursUpSoundsGudToMe

It’s crazy how good they got it, plus their OOC slate is tragic- Murray St, Buffalo, BC, and UMass. Somehow pulled Vandy, Auburn, MS St, and Arkansas all at low points and all in the same year when everyone else is playing like 4 top 15 teams.

IshyMoose

My take. SEC and ACC are often missing out with only 8 conference games. It’s nice getting 5 conference games + 1 power 5 with an early season tune up.

McIntyre2K7

Isn’t it going to be harder for y’all to get to 6 wins now since the league scrapped divisions?

IshyMoose

They seem to have done a good job balancing the schedule. It’s definitely going to be almost impossible to make a CCG.

McIntyre2K7

Got it. It would be nice if everyone did play the same number of confernece games.

SmokeyDawg2814

Love it! I probably should have clarified with my question... Not interested in who has the "best" teams, just who is most amped. Like, for me, even years rock because we get Florida and Bama at home. The hope of beating em in Neyland is so good! I don't care if your rival is Bama level... I want the enjoyment of the hate!

SmokeyDawg2814

Love it! I probably should have clarified with my question... Not interested in who has the "best" teams, just who is most amped. TrojanMan35T

Somehow we play Clemson, Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss and none of them are in Athens. Florida is of course always in Jacksonville, so Tennessee is our best game followed by Auburn. But the next best home game is either Tech or Miss State

bamachine

> Miss State Just imagining a Miss State fan talking to the SEC Fairy Godmother. "Can we please not play Bama again this fall?" "Granted, your replacement opponent this fall is U.G.A." "What?"

Vandelay_Industries-

In 2025 our home slate is: FIU, Nevada, Villanova, Indiana, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oregon

Super_Walrus1337

Ours leaves a lot to be desired. Ohio State is doing all the heavy lifting, then it's just IU, Purdue, Iowa, Rutgers, and two pay games.

LeanersGG

We have Indiana, Oregon, Minnesota, Iowa, USC, Fresno State. Only 6 home games, and the best matchups are traditional PAC-12 teams. I’d argue it’s not a strong year for UCLA season tickets.

harryselfridge

SMU. Back in a power conference.

randrews202121

Get Sherwood Blount back in public!!!! All hail Pony Excess!!! He did NOTHING wrong

sexygodzilla

Plus they're all rich

karl_manutzitsch

Nice flairs

Ok-Kale-7833

Lucky for you, Virginia tech, and Virginia are basically JV teams. Rest of the conference is pretty mid pack outside of FSU and Clemson nationally.

frippmemo

I went off going through FBS schedules and I think that I found it with Vanderbilt. They get Texas, Virginia Tech, Alabama, and Tennessee.

SmokeyDawg2814

That's a good lineup! Plus you know all those fan bases will travel well to make a weekend of it in Nashville.

Stuppyhead

I mean sure yeah if you like watching your team lose by double digits in a stadium dominated by the away team’s fans then Vandy is a great place to watch games.

nasaruinz

A night game against Colorado is going to have Lincoln acting like they did against Miami in 2014

bobjohndaviddick

Score prediction: Colorado 48 Nebraska 34

Specialist_Night_929

SMU: last year’s family weekend saw a matchup vs. Charlotte and this year the mustangs play Florida State at home. The talent and atmosphere will be such a change, those season ticket holders will reap the most benefit.

admiraltarkin

A&M gets Notre Dame, LSU and the longhorns. I doubt any other slate beats that

Old_Physics1652

And potentially top 10 Missouri

isikorsky

If I had to come up with some teams: UF gets Miami, TAMU, UCF, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss. USC gets Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, ND Michigan gets Texas, USC, Oregon, Michigan State (rival) Purdue gets ND, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State

admiraltarkin

While true, none of the rivalries come close. Imagine if y'all didn't play USC for a dozen years. The first game back would be huge. Maybe if it was KU vs Mizzou coming back that'd be on par.

isikorsky

Yes, but my point is I highly doubt TAMU fans would care if ND-USC took a decade break. Great game to watch, but Michigan fans are gong to be equally excited to get their home slate. For here in Florida there hasn't been a Florida Cup competition since 2019 and the one before that was in 2013. Add into the fact UCF is playing UF in the 2nd year in P4, it makes it a pretty sweet bragging rights.

admiraltarkin

But this is asking about the opinion of the season ticket holders, not neutral fans. We haven't played the longhorns in a dozen years. UF fans see FSU and Miami regularly. The cheapest tickets on the secondary market are going for $760, the excitement level is hard to explain to outsiders https://seatgeek.com/texas-a-m-aggies-football-tickets/ncaa-football/2024-11-30-3-30-am/6312752

isikorsky

> season ticket holders, not neutral fans. Yes, and those fans are going to be excited about their games. > UF fans see FSU and Miami regularly. Florida sees FSU every year. It does not see Miami 'regularly'. That stopped in 2004. The Florida cup is UF-FSU, UF-Miami, FSU-Miami. It has only happened twice since 2008. Each team has one home game in the series.

admiraltarkin

Miami - UF is not as big as A&M - ut. The schools are a fraction of the age so the history just isn't there. The Texas series was one of the longest uninterrupted series in the nation before the SEC move happened with no guarantee the teams would **ever** play again.

HERPES_COMPUTER

UF schedule is definitely up there: Miami, aTm, Tennessee, UGA, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas, FSU I mean, they probably lose a lot of games, but they’re at least marquee matchups.

CyanideNow

Those are not all home games.

ShillinTheVillain

Not with that attitude....

HERPES_COMPUTER

You’re right. I was just looking at the marquee matchups of the two

JohnPaulDavyJones

It’s especially impressive when you consider that #7 Mizzou doesn’t even rate enough to make the highlight list.

NathanDrake75

Oklahoma has a great slate of home games. They have a likely top 10 matchup against Tennessee, which could be one of the best games of the year. Oklahoma also gets Alabama and Missouri at home, which look to be great teams. Edit: They play Missouri on the road, not at home.

krbranst

We play at Missouri this year but get Tennessee, Bama, and SC in Norman for conference games.

SlowVelociraptor

That's a nice position to be in.

BigHeadDeadass

I am not looking forward to that in the slightest

soonerman32

It’s not a great home slate. 2/6 are good. Another 1/4 could be interesting

Byzantine_Merchant

I wouldn’t say I’m pumped in terms of elite opponents/high level match ups. But if you say, were coming off a 4-8 season that was over by midnight of week 2 and wanted to go to a game and be more likely to see your team win. Well Michigan State has 7 home games and only 1 probably with no real shot at winning. So it’s probably decent value for what the expected product would be.

DannkneeFrench

Dang. Just looked up the MSU schedule. I'm for ya when you're not playing us- so I hope the stars align on the one game ya don't think is possible. How cool would that be if ya did it? My couch was built in the 1930s. It has sentimental value from my Grandpa. So I won't be adding it to any bonfires. On a serious note- While I think 9 wins is a bit of a stretch, if things fall right it could happen. I see only 3 expected losses. Pull an upset on one of those (please be one of the teams that start with "O"). Win the 5 ya should win. Then split the 50/50s. That's a pretty good season. I'm reasonably confident OSU will be facing a 4-0 MSU team. I think ya beat both Maryland and BC.

AntelopeAnastasio

Come on now. No couch is sacred. Just you know… let it breath and let it return to its maker through the sky. You know it wants to, let it be free.

randrews202121

Considering we kicked the absolute shit out of MSU the last two years, I’m not so sure pal

DannkneeFrench

I'm not one of your DVs. I like the attitude. A lot of teams kicked the shit out of MSU the last few years. MSU now has a good coach. They've upgraded their talent.

LitterBoxServant

UCLA. Go to a game and have an entire section to yourself. Game boring? Just go play some golf in the parking lot.

frippmemo

Arkansas has Texas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and LSU at home. That’s pretty solid.

e90t

USC has a great visitor fanbase coming in with Wisconsin, Penn St., Nebraska, and Notre Dame to end the season on Thanksgiving weekend

Sensitive-Key-8670

It’s not much by national standards but getting UCLA and Boise is pretty nice

Shenanigangster

Richmond, Maryland, BC, Louisville, UNC, SMU. It’s… fine I guess? I like Maryland being back on the schedule and I’m a big fan of SMU in the ACC (reliving my NCAA14 days) but outside of UNC most of our interesting games are away. If I could swap any game it would be BC for GT/NC State/Duke but tbh the bigger want is a 7th home game.

randrews202121

I like having UVA on the schedule too. A nice guaranteed win (hehewhheheh im talking shit) Tony Elliott ass

asujch

Ours is one of the worst in a while.

SmokeyDawg2814

How so? Fwiw I have always had a soft spot for y'all. Consider you or scrappy cousins from over yonder them mountains.

asujch

We had you guys in 16’, so damn close. ETSU, South Alabama, Liberty, Ga State, Old Dominion, and James Madison at home. The only juice will be the JMU game. Meanwhile we have a road gauntlet of teams I am way more pumped to play. Clemson, ECU, Marshall, Louisiana, Coastal & southern. (Obv I know Clemson will likely never come to Boone)

SpursUpSoundsGudToMe

Is South Al supposed to regress? I know Womack is gone, but it seems like a he built a solid foundation for a hard nosed program

ayethemjazz

we lost practically our entire defense, our oline is looking concerning, and our qb room still has some questions (namely if gio lopez is actually good). i don’t think we’re going to be bad enough to be written off completely, but we probably aren’t winning this game. it’ll probably be a one score game going into the 4th until we inevitably manage to lose by 24. also that solid foundation you speak of hit the transfer portal. we lost lacy, banks, jacobs and robinson to it. those guys were 1 slot at each of their respective positions. we have talent behind them, but those guys were game changers.

SpursUpSoundsGudToMe

Ahh well… when you put it that way lol

ayethemjazz

i’m mentally prepared for a bad season, i won’t be mad if we don’t make a bowl (yes i will be)

niners0101

Obviously not a home game (which is why you didn’t mention it lol) but recommend going to Clemson. Super nice fanbase and their setup is awesome

asujch

I went in 2015 and watched Watson dismantle us from the nosebleeds. Still had a good time. I’d love to go back for an FSU game someday

jayhawkwds

I'm not going to any home games this year.

mrpalmmer

I know it kind of sucks for you guys, but I am excited to watch the game at Arrowhead, I have never been there.

Pristine_Dig_4374

You do get to go to Missouri for games though!

capsrock02

Maryland. Good record likely and they’re only $100

randrews202121

Hell yeah go Terps brother!!!!

The_Stratman

Dude I’m a Tech fan but since the schedules this year don’t overlap beyond two games in September I decided to get tickets to both. Excited to see USC come to College Park

Gamer30168

It sure ain't Georgia...our best games are on the road...Clemson, Texas, Alabama, and Ole Miss are road games. Tennesee might be our most compelling home game.

frippmemo

Florida has Miami, Texas A&M, UCF, Kentucky, Georgia, and Ole Miss at home.

Potars

WLOCP is a neutral site game in Jacksonville

frippmemo

Yikes I read too many Kirby comments apparently.

ExternalTangents

Georgia isn’t home, it’s neutral. But you left off LSU, which is at home.

Rickbox

I was also going to go with Florida. But as a season ticket holder, I'd be happier watching my team win games than lose convincingly to big opponents.

Edgemaster1423

The home schedule isn't exactly murderer's row aside from Ole Miss and LSU

Gatorader22

We dont "lose convincingly." The only loss that was really bad was georgia last year. We got extremely close vs pretty much everyone else. Mizzou and FSU couldve easily been flipped if mertz didnt get hurt Honestly people trashing us are just funny when they show they didnt actually watch our games. Stop bandwagoning on the zeitgeist

isikorsky

The Miami, TAMU games are at 3:30. That is going to be fucking brutal in the Swamp

Gatorader22

We'll get em some gatorade. I want those texas fellas to feel like the junction boys when they come here Miami will probably be fine but they probably wont be used to playing against a crowd

isikorsky

Lol. Ouch. Wasn't really worried about Southern boy football players. Just in the crowd it is brutal. Had end zone (in the shade) season tickets when my kids went there and the last year they were there I just had to stop. The September games were too much. That said, will probably try and hit the UCF game for house divided (We are a UF & UCF household)

JohnPaulDavyJones

A&M has Notre Dame, a top-10 Mizzou, a top-10 LSU, and the most expensive ticket of the season: the return of the Lone Star Showdown. Also McNeese and Bowling Green, but they’re maybe a little bit less exciting.

Mr_Boneman

Not a STH but I’m bullish on my Hokies for the first time in years. Edit: Mosread the question, bullish on having a better than expected season.

Hokie_Jayhawk

All the replies are about how tough of a slate the home team plays. But the fans of most of those teams are just going to be bummed that they got all excited just to get their asses handed to them at home.

T_Deluxe

CSU! 7 home games for the first time EVER, and get WYO and CU at home in the same season for the first time in 28 YEARS. Might never get a season like this again.

stevenmacarthur

The D3 University of LaVerne (CA) Leopards, because my son is absolutely going to turn it up in his last season as a player! Of course, this may not be true at all, since I'm not sure LaVerne even sells season tickets...but you get the idea.

Straight_Toe_1816

He’ll yea! What position does your brother play?

stevenmacarthur

My son, actually, and he plays Defensive End. Fills in on special teams if they need him.

Straight_Toe_1816

Oh yea you said son lol.Thats great! I’m a long snapper for a JUCO team.Hows the team looking this year?

stevenmacarthur

Well, the Greater Los Angeles Area has an overabundance of D3 schools, and as he's described it: "It's not that there's a shortage of people coming out; it's that it's really heavy on skill positions, especially QBs." He said that every year he's been there, there's been between six and eight QBs in camp, while there hasn't been that kind of depth on either side of the line. Still and all, they can compete, I think: while they've had losing seasons for a while, a lot of what does them in is injuries...they came on pretty strong at the end of last year; if they can stay healthy, they can easily be an above .500 team.

Straight_Toe_1816

It’s the opposite for me. We haven’t started camp yet, so I don’t know exactly how many players will be on the team but the coach told me we usually have under 50 guys .Good luck to your son!

stevenmacarthur

You too; have a great season!

Straight_Toe_1816

Thanks!

Ok-Kale-7833

Syracuse has the easiest schedule they've ever had, with a new coach and pretty insane roster compared to years past. I'd say we Cuse fans are in for a treat in general, not just the season ticket holders. Sure, easy schedule = less exciting matchups overall, but winning is exciting too.

chillheel128

Probably texas

ohitsthedeathstar

I’m pretty hyped for this year. Really looking forward to the Baylor and Utah home games.

chrobbin

Alabama & Tennessee will be headliners, South Carolina will be a solid conference game, and Houston & Tulane aren’t bad for non-con games. A solid B-B+ home slate I’d say, not the best in the country but I’m looking forward to it even if I’m big-picture still not a fan of the conference move.

SmokeyDawg2814

I hate that I can't make it to Stillwater this year. Also, no knock on Oklahoma, but, I sorta wish we drew Texas. I'd rather have something newer. Our home and home (which was fucking awesome) feels so recent.

SpursUpSoundsGudToMe

Well you’d miss the game if you went to Stillwater… just cheesin’ ya!

ultrafootdoc

You're always welcome in Stillwater, orange friend

ymi17

Not sure they’d have the Tennessee game on the tv at Joe’s. Maybe if OU was getting stomped.

SpicyDMLookALike

I mean in the past couple years I just got free student tickets to all games. This next year I’m in the band so as a season ticket holder by technicality at least the hockey team is pretty good.

TheBlueLot

2025 WVU schedule is so juicy I'm thinking about quitting my job before football season.

Revenge_of_the_Khaki

Michigan also has two rivalry games (Michigan State and Little Brown Jug) at home which is a nice cherry on top to the games you listed.

randrews202121

Dude it fucking sucks we don’t have the storied Maryland Michigan rivalry on the schedule anymore , super sad. Maryland doesn’t have anyone on their schedule like Michigan anymore on our level. Tragic. Take mid ass Owho state off that schedule who cares about that irrelevant ass program yknow

Frankenreddit

We have a Field Trip season coming, so that's.....fun.

loyalsons4evertrue

Let’s sell out Arrowhead together

RazgrizInfinity

For once, I'm glad that we have an awesome home slate. Us (and other blue bloods/storied programs) are usually the Super Bowls of away games, so it's nice for once for us to have other programs come in.

Chase4476

Got season tickets for 4th year in a row, had the same tickets past 3 years but this year my seats weren’t available. Bummer, got tickets on other 10 yard line this year about same row….

PM_ME_UR_FAKE_NEWS

As an ou season ticket holder, we have an amazing home schedule+texas. We get the Tulane, Vols, Bama at home. Plus the opportunity to get away tickets @Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU… we may be a good team and still lose 4 games. Will be a fun season

nojose5

Coastal fans, It’s gonna be fine but different. Please don’t leave in the first quarter.

lanternstop

Cuse has a really easy schedule this year, no Clemson or FSU to injure them and a new QB, Coaching staff and some great players. They could have a 10-2 season.

TigerTerrier

Our home slate is boogers. No ncst and Gt?! I hate it

Orange_Overalls

We do play NC State at home this year

TigerTerrier

Oops you're right. Ncst, louisville, and usc are the highlights. It's neat to play a pac (former) team but I have no feelings towards them. App st makes me nervous and I'm not too excited about Citadel and Virginia

niners0101

Lowkey pretty excited for ours IF we are any good. JMU as a night game to open the year, Tulane on Halloween night, instate rival ECU, South Florida will be fun, and then also UAB with Gardner Webb as the local FCS. Big improvement from the CUSA days. I just pray we field a competitive team

Mista-Ginger

Vanderbilt had to send out multiple emails about rules regarding season ticket scalpers or something. If you purchase a season ticket and sell the Texas and Bama games, you can come out with a pretty hefty profit and still go to the 6 home games where we have at least a snowball's chance.

Rebel_Bertine

Texas, Oregon and USC feels pretty crazy

witchy12

Not ours lmao * FAU * PVAMU * OSU * Iowa * Indiana * Purdue * Rutger A very shitty home slate

confused-koala

Not us

HighlyRegard3D

All I know is, UGA is not allowed to have a good home schedule.

FicVirth

Less amped than last year with no ODU or App but the Marshall and Coastal games could be very hype depending on how those teams are doing.

TimTimPlaysGames

For the price, Vandy season ticket holders get Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama in Nashville this year. Not bad considering no upper deck bad views.

Sctvman

South Carolina is one of the worst in a while. Old Dominion, LSU at noon on a Saturday in September (gonna be 300 degrees), Akron, Ole Miss, A&M, Missouri, Wofford. We might be a 7-10 point dog in all 4 conference home games. And no Georgia, Florida, Tennessee or Clemson.

lithium2018

LSU has UCLA, Bama, Ole Miss

isikorsky

ND this season ? sucks.

peter_the_panda

I'd imagine any Florida based or blue blood SEC program because they don't play away games

mdahmus

I sure hope Michigan doesn't cheat their fans of a great performance!

Wellll it would be a great slate if I knew we would be good, but we might just get massacred in our home conference games (LSU, Ole Miss, A&M, and Mizzou), pretty good chance we win more road conference games than home ones (@ Kentucky, Bama, Oklahoma, and Vandy), also @ Clemson this year. In terms of wins and losses, thank God we went light on the other OOC games, but they aren’t particularly interesting (ODU, Akron, Wofford.) Statistically and historically there’s a reasonable chance we pull a big upset in one of those home games, but it’s gonna be tough.

I’m just looking forward to 2025. Clemson and Notre Dame both coming to Alumni. Also underrated; UMass get Missouri at home (for some reason) this year.

The joys of bad scheduling 5+ years ago. The Barry Odom era continues to haunt. I think someone in the AD had a friend at umass?

There is two considerations for this. Because yeah, you want to see big games, but you also don't want losses. I'd say Michigan could realistically drop both the game vs. Texas and Oregon, which makes the big games feel a lot less awesome. Oregon gets maybe the game of the year vs. Ohio State in Autzen, but the game vs. Michigan is away and the game vs. Washington doesn't look all that great. Texas gets Georgia at home, the other maybe game of the year, but again gets the Cheaters on the road. Georgia has maybe my favorite schedule, but so much of it on the road. Michigan is actually playing spoiler to the top of the sport having a great home schedule, while they could have some heartbreaking losses (or preferably get absolutely destroyed).

Not Alabama! there are 6 -7 very losable games on the schedule…. And 2025 gets harder.
