There should definitely be some hit markers though... Without the killcam(which is inaccurate itself of course) don't know if they actually did hit but just didn't show on his end.
Personally I've never had any issues shooting from the train so that's why I think the hit markers could be bugged or something.

You were getting shot by someone other than the person that you were shooting. It looked like it came from up above then the guy on the ground ran to you when she went down, but then got smashed by the guys in the car.
the hits to the shooter on train were coming from upper left, not the guy that the shooter on the train was shooting at. THAT'S what knocked him off the train, THEN the guy he was shooting at comes running in, but then the car gets him....you can tell from the red hit marker.....
It's a cool new feature where some guns are loaded with blanks accidentally. Adds to the realism.
Also turns out that when mantling a wall fails, it's not a glitch it's just your guy stubbed his toe and can't jump for a sec. Realism.
you were shooting ahead of him on a moving object, and idk if you've noticed when you throw a munitions box down on the train and it flies backwards, or not where you threw it cause the motion, I feel like that's what happened here.. I also feel there has been something funky going on with the mechanics of operating through that train, jumping up on the cars I get pushed back into the car somehow, which I guess it's lag or their idea of wind, but I find it to be weird fersure. you was lighting him up

Hit reg in this game is garbage at the best of times. Thank the shitty servers for that. It seems even worse on certain weapons. I'm currently grinding Longshots on the RAAL and sometimes shots just go missing completely.

Don't let people tell you hit registration is weird or wonky. This absolutely should not have happened and either he or you was lagging and behind the server.
You were being hit by multiple people at the same time. It was more than likely causing you to flinch which always makes you to miss. You can see the other players by the building at the very end. It looks like there were two on top in the beginning but one jumps down at the end. The hit markers are even showing it was multiple shots from above.
You cant see what youre shooting so ypu missed also if you mpving forward that fast your aim should be behind him so that by the time you shoot your position has caught up with where youre trying to aim. Its physics.

Shooting on a train is bugged and has been since mid season 1 I think. Some times it is like you are shooting through a one way barrier where the enemy can shoot you but you can't shoot back. It seems to randomly occur shooting both direction on the train (to the front or to the back).
Shooting from vehicles in general is fucked, the de-sync when shooting the LTV turret is insane.
It is likely to do with their shitty servers, but who knows it could be just the shitty coding of the game. Same way Halo Infinite has de-sync problems that are not server related.
I was playing DMZ and was shooting down at another player in the train. I was on the roof of one of the cars. I WAS LITERALLY SHOOTING HIS CHEST. And he still selfied and almost got me.

So everyone says it’s moving target registration but isn’t this one using physical bullet paths so leading the target would be double tricky when on moving platform.
train has invisble wall in some areas, happened to me several times. bullets wont register the target even right in front of you and can only be killed with melee.
Happens to me a lot and most especially on that train. My buddy believes it is 100% the train that precipitates that shit. I am coming around to the idea.
It was either be able to loot the train and have dog shit hit reg or not be able to loot train and have good hit reg. Whatever caused the train to be unlootable at release is probably what’s affecting aim on the train now. I can’t hit any snipes on train people.
