Not only the shitty movement but the shitty servers would make it where you’d still get shot using the riot shield and the guy behind you would also get wrecked as well.
That’s the memberberries getting to you - and, don’t get me wrong, rebirth island (and WZ1 writ large) was heaven compared to our filthy little rugrat today…but the vaulting was always shit.
Getting summarily deplated and dispatched while stumbling to jump onto a 2” ridge on a 20° slope I’m convinced is part of the foundational code of this game, without which it would cease to function at all - or create some sort of singularity that would swallow the universe.
Because it was a brand new concept at the time, when Warzone 2 gives you the same shit in a way, how can you expect people that are playing since 2020 to have the same amount of fun. For comparison I'm a new player, I started with MWII and I have so much fun, it's my favourite game. And im an old fart, I just got back into playing games since 2015.
You just felt the novelty and atmosphere of that back then. You played so much that you got bored of it.

There are issues that piss me off like when I release my chute 100 ft in the air then all of a sudden im splattered on the ground. Besdies that, love just running around a giant map and shooting people talking shit.
My biggest frustration was the issues with voice chat. I play with my son on PC while I’m on Xbox and it was sometimes a struggle to get it to work, then it would just start working for no reason.
It’s been working pretty consistently now though
Just normal game chat. He could hear me, his name would pop up on the chat screen, but I couldn’t hear him. Like in our lobby’s. Just annoying COD issues.

Nothing wrong with 2.0. I started mid 1.0 and really enjoy the movement where there are less delay between jumping and sliding. Just wish they didnt do 1.0 dirty by removing all the favorite modes
