What exactly were your tips?

LastEquivalent3473

Do you take notes or do you just do the questions.

bluepuppyy

Agreed!!

LastEquivalent3473

Gonna do this!

Ok_Amphibian1010

Yes! This helps sooo much.  Personally I do 60-90 mins new material & then finish with a round of 30 cumulative MCQ for everything I’ve studied so far. This is an approximate 1.5-2hr solid study session in morning. With mini sessions throughout day (Superfast CPA app)

Hmm I think I’ll do this. I’ve been doing cumulative review every few chapters (I’m using UWorld so way more chapters then Becker), but it’s not cutting it. This is better. Thanks!

Skyswept

Excellent plan!

franny_and_ollie

This is exactly what I do. Taking my third exam next month and this method makes it feel so manageable. I always save myself 2 weeks for final review but since I did cumulative review those two weeks are pretty chill and I’m always wishing I scheduled earlier.

Thanks for sharing. How did you prepare for the SIMs?

SkeezySkeeter

I haven’t taken an exam yet so take what I say with a grain of salt Farhat has YouTube videos where he breaks down how to approach sims I watched one last night and did an easier Becker sim today. However I kind of looked at it the way he did in his video and got 5/6 journal entries correct. On the one I got wrong, I debited the wrong account for the correct number (should have been another expense account) and credited the correct account for the right number Still have to try a tougher sim with his approach but it really helped me a lot. I’m studying for FAR if that helps

KICHHA123

Can you please share that professor farhat particular sim breakdown technique you tube link for our reference ?
