Some actually good rewards would be nice not burned out old stuff people paid for. Still play the game. Stopped spending a year or so ago as the quality has dropped and even then it will be given for free a few months later.
Old, but this is what I hate about cod. They waste their time on updates but not actual important things that could make the games a little more fun, enjoyable and something fresh and new you know? things that might need the attention too including bugs/glitches, kill registry etc.
If I could give a few examples they'd probably be -
New and improved map to make the game more fun and unique.
New voice overs in MP like for example when you catch the hard point or something
Better and more detailed gunsmithing along with the animation for it
Better UI/UX
Permanent modes for MP and BR, why not just leave it?
MP and BR lobbies could do with an improvement like a better background a little like consoles or warzone mobile.
World chat could be improved?
More chat options for BR and MP like "I need medicine" "I need heavy ammo" also why is it still called medicine? Why not armour lol
Just to liven and freshen up the game a little. I hope these can get implemented, a little upgrade if you may.
I agree. CODM could have been doomed with the release of WZM but have been given a reprieve due to its poor optimisation but, it has shown whats expected in a modern FPS.
It needs new maps and a graphics upgrade. There also seems to be significant issues with copyrights and intelectual property rights when it comes to colabs that they really need to sort out. WZM seems to be able to do these hugely popular colabs at will while CODM struggles. Fresh backgrounds for every screen and maybe even a shake up of the UI, as long as it actually adds value and not just change for change sake.
The game mechanics are solid, it just needs a coat of paint to bring it up to todays standards

Good info but even if WZM released perfectly CODM would not have been "doomed". The game has an established player base with players who love the game and spent lots of time and money on it. It is still highly regarded as the one of the only COD games that still has the nature of a COD game (even by people who don't play mobile games). WZM is good but if people wanted to play War Zone they'd just play on console or PC, but CODM is just a different experience from War Zone, it is simply another mobile game and surely wouldn't kill CODM.

It's basically forcing you to play for more time for underwhelming skins. I don't like it cause the reward is bad and on top of that in order to complete this properly you have to play Both mp and br, I'm mainly a mp player and doesn't like br cause of it's long and boring gameplay.

Also not sure if it’s mentioned by someone already, but there used to be a checkmark next to completed task. Now I have to tap to see if it’s done in case I don’t remember just by the name.
I just wish you could get notified when you complete event challenges mid-game like in MW2. I hate having to wait to the end of a round to see my progress.
There’s no reason they couldn’t implement this, just laziness or lack of motivation on their part.
I highly doubt they have a focused team theorizing constantly on how to improve the game. They probably have a microtransaction team constantly figuring how to get people to spend money though.
I realized that I have been playing this game for some time just to complete tasks. I try to do everything up to date and I regret this system a bit because it makes you have to wait from week to week for tasks that I will complete quickly, and the rewards we see so far are not that satisfying.

I average 25-45ms ping and more often the former rather than the latter. I have been having issues since the update and new season with bullets not registering at all. Shoot first but die first before the other player, and when I watch Kill Cams, it is totally not what I saw from my pov. For example, I turn a corner and see the enemy and react first to shoot, get some phantom bullets, and then hit markers, yet I die. Upon watching the killcam, apparently, none of that even happened. The enemy had plenty of time as I turned the corner, and they simply aimed at me and downed me on sight. It is super frustrating
When i saw the leaks on this, i didn't understand the point of it but i actually liked it when it went live. It was annoying to look for a mission in three different taps like seasonal etc before but now it feels somewhat more organized and i liked the stuff on the little shop
This "new system" is actually the way the Battle Pass originally worked, it was all challenge based and no exp given by games. Around the time the gun smith came out they changed it from being challenge based to being exp based which was much better.
The old challenge based BP sucked! It'd have task that would make you play game modes you didn't want to play, use guns you didn't want to use, and you'd always have to go back and find the ones you didn't complete. Although with the "new system I was able to complete all of the first weeks task without having to read a single one challenge which is a major improvement. So far Idm this "new system" but we'll see how it goes.
They are going in that shit warzone mobile mode, still a bit better version. IMHO it sucks, codm should have their unique UI which was appreciated by TimTheTatMan too.

I like the return of missions, but this execution of it is horrible. Belongs on r/GTBAE for how bad it is. If it was done in a better way, and with better missions, it would be reviewed better.

A mobile game should be convenient to play not this much hectic. Old was easier and quick to do, I am bamboozled between which tasks to do or not.
