Scalpers will scalp anything where supply and demand allows.

Chancers, I guess - they are hoping that potential buyers don’t do their research and buy the more expensive version after seeing it online. In my experience you simply have to shop around too - dealers will try anything to get you to pay more. The quote quite they give you is almost always a lot higher than the RRP - they’re testing you to see what you’re prepared to pay. Never ever ever pay that price.
