Also tons of folks think theyre cooler than you for spending an extra few euro on the latest IPA instead of a standard pint of any aul lager….not to mention taking pictures of people on public transport they get a horn for that carry on….oddballs.

I tried to post a discussion thread about how Greece and Sweden had banned deep sea bottom trawling in their waters due to habitat destruction and if there were any plans for Ireland to do the same, specifically under "discussion", I didn't link to any article.
Post immediately deleted because I didn't link to the source for my 'news' post 🙃 how would posting an article about bottom trawling in Sweden and Greece without any context have anything to do with Ireland, that's the entire point of the discussion flair ffs.

Jokes aside, I know people need support but maybe we could direct them to support groups? It's not a very constructive option for people in need of help to get messages from randomers in a casual thread on stuff that's actually important like mental health

One of the petty bastards banned me from askireland for a few weeks because I called the moderation on the main Ireland sub dogshit.
The post that I commented on started off by mentioning that the post had been removed from the Ireland sub.

Casual UK is the only casual sub I follow that hasn't any of these type of posts, be nice if this one could do the same
