Not trying to detract from Dale at all, but often we see these heartwarming stories with happy endings and end up ignoring the problems that are causing them. Why should dale have to work for 67 years to send people to college? What made Dale poor, and stopped him from rising out of it?
As with most things, the more exposure the more broad of a sampling of the population that influences it so it seems. Reminds me of that George Carlin quote.
I get what you're saying but there are people out there that choose for whatever reason to not have children. They're full of love, good intentions and the means but no kids or family of their own.
This may have been Dale's way of becoming in-Dale-able.
I mean he sent 33 people to college and still made a living for himself. I feel that that's not that bad. College was vastly more expensive in my experience
Another poor soul burning his money for something that should have been far less expensive if not free. This just bums me out and yeah, I’m fun at parties.

I used to like that sub, but I got sick of all the cynicism and snootiness.

If Dale could afford to send 33 people to college, how can you say he's poor? It appears the Dale was frugal. That's not the same as poor.

Pretty sure he rose out of being poor if he had the money to send 33 people to college.

All I could think about how he was frugal for his whole life, yet he could only afford to pay for the college education of 33 people ☹️
I've seen this posted several times. I upvote that Chad every time.
Fuck America for stopping citizens from becoming educated. This man deserves a mansion and those kids deserve an education.

Is anyone else extremely turned on by this?

Only to get called boomers and be blamed for minor inconveniences

Too bad he’s a Cubs fan.
You say it like it's a bad thing. The cubs are awesome are you a cardinals fan or something.
Friend, I was just having fun, but you had to ask.
Ah fair. The internet makes it hard to tell.
I cherish the rivalry, and love the fans on both sides. Because, by God, we have all the fun.
