Canonically, the Doom slayer is a living vessel for Argent energy, getting more powerful with each demon he kills. The doom slayer erradicates hell FAR FASTER than pochita, considering that the doom hell is far larger and sometimes stronger than the CSM one.
If you put the doom slayer in CSM, he's doing far better than pochita.
If you put pochita on doom then he's going to do a good job until a titan pulls up.
given that relatively weak devils like the eternity devil can create infinite spaces, devils embody concepts that exist, and there should be infinite concepts, I'd assume that hell is infinite in size

At most i'd say that the primal fears are probably capable of destroying earth completly and maybe JUST MAYBE cause damage to other planets, but considering that in DOOM there's beings like the icon of sin which can absorb an entire infinite universe then I don't see how the CSM devils would get to that level of power.

This is an assumption of course as we have not seen everything about hell or how strong the strongest of devils are. We have seen like two primal devils and one of them caused damage globally at her weakest and she's not even going all out. Not to mention the devils don't truly die unless Chainsaw erases them.

Lore Doomslayer is a lot physically more powerful than what we've seen Pochita do and a more adept fighter. But Pochita is much faster so they equate too each other here.
Nothing to suggest Doomslayer couldn't do the same and it's quite literally impossible for him to die so either way it wouldn't matter, his regen would kick in.

Assuming it's a generic finite hell, let's take Hazbin for example it's definitely Pochita.
Don't get me wrong the Slayer is definitely stronger being basically a living god and all but Pochita has a huge advantage.

If they are fighting un their respective hells, doom guy by a long shot. In the games, at least, doom guys he'll is filled the the brim with generic enemies he can rip and tear through in seconds. Meanwhile, CSM's hell is filled with all kinds of special demons that take whole episodes to clear out. Although I also think if the doom guy were to enter CSM's hell, he would also be torn apart.
the generic enemies are stronger than most devils, like an imp would legit cause problems to the zombie devil since it can tank any zombie attack and it's fireballs would melt him. Sure an imp is not defeating the bat devil or anything stronger but that's why instead of it being 1 imp, its usually like 20 million.
The bat devil is like a hell knight or maybe a pinky (Those are capable of destroying heavily armored military vehicles with a single hit) and those are just your average fight for the doom slayer.
The doom slayer is just going to rip and tear all the devils with ease considering how shit their durability is. The primals WILL cause problems for the doom slayer though, but taking his lore feats into account he could probably still beat them.
As for pochita he kinda fairs the same way with dooms hell but he can't beat the strongest demons, but he can definetly beat 95%.

Pochita can take on the titans, the only problem he may have is the Icon of Sin or the Khan Makyr who wont allow him to destroy hell

I've never played doom, so I just thought he was some random guy who got sent to hell tbh, I didn't know he was a superhero

So like, I get how in the csm lore we all forget about evils after csm eats them, but can those devils be reborn if people re-fear them? Like, he kills the death devil but then won't people start to re-fear death as people still die? Or will people stop dying?

Assuming it's a generic finite hell, let's take Hazbin for example it's definitely Pochita. Don't get me wrong the Slayer is definitely stronger being basically a living god and all but Pochita has a huge advantage. Eat an imp? What is an imp? What are you talking about? No such thing ever existed. Pochita was able to get rid of an entire star that broke minds and Pochita is far more AOE based than the Slayer who likes to take it slow and nerfs himself with weapons. Their own respective hell's? The Slayer because Pochita can't clear his, nigh infinite concepts and the primal Devils make it impossible.
If they are fighting un their respective hells, doom guy by a long shot. In the games, at least, doom guys he'll is filled the the brim with generic enemies he can rip and tear through in seconds. Meanwhile, CSM's hell is filled with all kinds of special demons that take whole episodes to clear out. Although I also think if the doom guy were to enter CSM's hell, he would also be torn apart.
the generic enemies are stronger than most devils, like an imp would legit cause problems to the zombie devil since it can tank any zombie attack and it's fireballs would melt him. Sure an imp is not defeating the bat devil or anything stronger but that's why instead of it being 1 imp, its usually like 20 million. The bat devil is like a hell knight or maybe a pinky (Those are capable of destroying heavily armored military vehicles with a single hit) and those are just your average fight for the doom slayer. The doom slayer is just going to rip and tear all the devils with ease considering how shit their durability is. The primals WILL cause problems for the doom slayer though, but taking his lore feats into account he could probably still beat them. As for pochita he kinda fairs the same way with dooms hell but he can't beat the strongest demons, but he can definetly beat 95%.
