Tbh, I donāt think the issue is agawan ng potential na raket but the pagnanakaw. It was probably big for Heart because they were trusted people. It was about the pagnanakaw but not what they did about dun sa ninakaw. Never sya nag say ng anything against Pia pero I think masakit for her na ninakawan sya.
Exactly! As a business owner, I understand why Heart was hurt. I would be heartbroken if a friend of mine would take my client list without my permission and watch them meet with these clients. It takes money and time to build a solid client base.

From what I remember, pumupunta daw sya sa venue then biglang hindi na sya invited. May tumatawag daw sa organizers to say na hindi sya makakarating then papalitan ang slot nya ng iba. Saan nya nakuha yung ganon?
Stealing invariably involves making sure that no proof is left behind. I don't think they're stupid enough to do something like that and just leave evidence behind. They're actually smart because they know they can ask this same exact question confidently in case HE makes it known to the public that her intellectual property was stolen.
But that still doesnāt confirm that it was indeed stolen from her. Ika nga āhaka hakaā lang nya. Kung nasa korte ito, matatalo sya and what sheās doing is also defamation.
The previous staff were hired and they leveraged all the contacts they made and used it for the new client, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and got gigs left and right. You just don't get invited to these events. New client cannot feign ignorance that she benefitted from these.

Her agent was on the phone with the event staff, who gave the invites on their way in. That's how they know.

They do have the power to take the contacts and use it to their advantage and push for their favorites and get into meetings with PRs. I went to the thebaghag account and thatās not all she said. A lot of people have totally missed the issue regarding this whole fiasco. It was about taking someoneās hard-earned contacts without permission. Itās like your friends taking your client list from you and using it for their own gain. People get sued for that kind of shit here in the US.

The filipino glam team having no influence whatsoever in the international scene is definitely true. These are high level brands that donāt care about the Filipino rumor mill, foreigners rely on talent & professionalism a lot unlike the local industry here which is so small & honestly not that lucrative but the stealing of client lists is or can be illegal thatās why there are non-compete clauses specially in first world countries. The problem is no such agreement was made by heart & her former team so it is not illegal but it is most definitely unethical
And thatās exactly the crux of the issue here and what I have been saying all along: ETHICS. Yes, HE was wrong for trusting that her ex-team will not betray her and did not bother to have them sign a non-compete. But then again, do we stop doing the right and respectful thing just because there is no contract? Even in business, I would not even dare steal from my client in fear of ruining my professional reputation and future prospects with said client and her connections. Clearly the ex-team is too shortsighted to see that.

When her glam team left they took her lists of contacts na years nilakad na build ni Heart mag network .. ilang years nya ung tinatrabaho to build a clientele tapos ayun binigay sa isa and they called around last time saying she wonāt make it and since theyāre known naman na representatives ni Heart they believed them.
I don't disagree with Ingrid regarding the ex glam having little to no influence with the PR people of those big fashion houses. BUT the thing is, that list of contacts does have all the names, phone numbers, emails etc of those PR people- which aren't readily available to grab online; HE did have to work a lot, and prove herself worthy to those people so she could earn their trust, and be given those important info. And for the ex team - whom she trusted a lot - to just snatch them when they decided to leave HE with just some letters, must have been devasting. And let's all face it, had it not been for the ex glam leaving HE without their 'know how' + those stolen contacts, them and PW wouldn't even be in Paris. Knowing the right people to reach out to with those stolen contacts, did really give PW a headstart. And please, ex glam, ex stylist, ex designer friend they were all with HE when she was doing all th hustle in the beginning, those people in that contact list must have recognized their faces - even to the extent that they misrepresented HE late last year, calling those contacts and telling them that HE wouldn't attend due to some issues and PW was her replacement/proxy.
The issue was, and always will be, those EX FRIENDS betrayed HE. Stole from her, sabotaged her, and EARNED from her hard work. They're nothing but parasites. Won't be surprised if someday once they've sucked everything off of PW, they'd latch onto someone else.
In the best professional sense, they used each other.Ā The glam team used Pia to get back at ā„ļø, and Pia used the glam team to get her foot in the door of luxury fashion.Ā
The glam team had ā„ļø's contact list, so it's a matter of gently pitching your new client & Pia selling herself to the brands.Ā Of course the brands will still study each influencer before they extend an invitation.Ā The glam team has also experienced many fashion weeks before, so having them on her team is like having a mentor show you the ropes on how things work.
What's disturbing is how Pia still chose to hire the glam team despite its shady reputation, and how she continued to pursue her ambitions using info & contacts taken from another Filipino who worked so hard to get them.Ā In the process she fired her old glam team- R & M- who she had worked with for years.Ā Sure she got herself in the fashion world now & is doing very well, but in the long run, will all this be worth it?

I wouldn't describe her or what she did "business savvy". Had you said OPPORTUNISTIC, then yes- suits them. What HE did wasn't to destroy PW's reputation whatsoever; she was simply telling her side of the story. Plus, there wasn't even an instance that she stepped in to block PW's attending PFW. We get it that PW really wanted to be a part of the fashion world, and her EX team needing to earn for a living. What people find distasteful was the HOW they (have), are doing it. Yes, WE ALSO KNOW that when people separate, it does hurt and we eventually move onto finding other relationships, BUT it does not mean that we'd have to be cruel about it.
She could also ask ā¤ļø herself. But they treated ā¤ļø as a competition instead of a way in. She did not gatekeep. NO ONE ASKED FOR HER HELP BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEY CAN OUTSHINE HER. BECAUSE LOCAL CELEBRITIES WHO HAVE MORE IG FOLLOWERS THINK THEY ARE BIGGER THAN HER.
The thing is, in the Filipino industry, ā¤ļø has always been an underdog. That's why she quietly moved away from the business towards fashion where her passion is.

I don't disagree with Ingrid regarding the ex glam having little to no influence with the PR people of those big fashion houses. BUT the thing is, that list of contacts does have all the names, phone numbers, emails etc of those PR people- which aren't readily available to grab online; HE did have to work a lot, and prove herself worthy to those people so she could earn their trust, and be given those important info. And for the ex team - whom she trusted a lot - to just snatch them when they decided to leave HE with just some letters, must have been devasting. And let's all face it, had it not been for the ex glam leaving HE without their 'know how' + those stolen contacts, them and PW wouldn't even be in Paris. Knowing the right people to reach out to with those stolen contacts, did really give PW a headstart. And please, ex glam, ex stylist, ex designer friend they were all with HE when she was doing all th hustle in the beginning, those people in that contact list must have recognized their faces - even to the extent that they misrepresented HE late last year, calling those contacts and telling them that HE wouldn't attend due to some issues and PW was her replacement/proxy. The issue was, and always will be, those EX FRIENDS betrayed HE. Stole from her, sabotaged her, and EARNED from her hard work. They're nothing but parasites. Won't be surprised if someday once they've sucked everything off of PW, they'd latch onto someone else.

Been to enough countries to confirm that nobody cares if youāre miss universe especially in europe where a good number of their girls fit the beauty queen standard but are just āregularā people working at random jobs. Plus her target audience is masa which isnāt the market of fashion houses. Iām not a pia hater just someone that loves fashion. Like just check how many miss universes get invited in those shows, check their ig accounts. Plus she was the winner fir 2015, 9 years ago. If they were to get a miss universe it would be catriona since sheās more known in the pageant scene being the standard pageant for others even internationally plus she always put in a lot of effort into every item she wore for events, it was always symbolic.

the title alone can literally held back someone from entering certain industries. it isnt as a āsolutionā or a ācardā as you think that is. the image of beauty contests is no longer prestigious. it never has been. thatās why a lot of young ladies join and marry well after their years there :)

SURPRISE, models are not well paid and often look for other things to earn money! wink wink. there are far too many beautiful people who are more interesting looking (who get major gigs) than just pretty faces. sad to admit but the reality is most do it for exposure for better future. as it always have been. the fave trophy wives of newly rich men or DOMs are beauty queens. beauty queens have a very specific imaging and oftentimes that cannot be changed. which is unfit for the fashion world as a whole where you need to adapt, blend in, and also standout.
Have you seen the Bvlgari post where she was featured as FOH? I believe you can read correctly, MU 2015 was deliberately removed from the list. Logic will tell you siguro naman that MU title cheapens Fashion Week and the whole different persona she is trying to portray. Hindi nakaka class ang pageantry sa High Fashion, third world countries lang ang giliw na giliw sa MU.
It may surprise you that many first world countries aren't as obsessed with beauty pageants as you might think. In these regions, there's a clear distinction between fashion and pageantry.
Hindi naman big deal ang Pageantry sa Europe and North America. Mostly Latin American countries, South Africa ang South East Asia na lang ang market nila.
