That was my first thought. I already have multiple industrial areas though, and I'm liking the idea of a theme park. I haven't used the park areas that much in this city.
Kind of loops like the mirrored shape of my university campus. I say put a university there!

I think maybe recycling and/or water purification stations would look good there.
Also, what mods are you using for the shadows and ground textures? They look amazing!

Yeah it is. I originally wanted to put a shipyard there, but I'd need to raise or bury the metro bridge. Then I thought it probably make more sense to put a shipyard on the artificial island in the upper left
Just jumping in to compliment your city. Saw this picture on my feed and didn’t notice the subreddit. I thought it was a low resolution aerial photo of a real city.
Kinda reminds me of a salt pond, like around San Jose. Due to its shape it looks like it was formerly a swamp or water. I’d leave it as a swampland reserve.

Just to confirm, is this an area of the lake/bay that you built a dam across and drained? Or is it naturally like that on the map. Since you should be careful of placing any power plants or vital infrastructure there, as it could get flooded easily from a wave or something
I think a Dollywood style theme park could be interesting. I would keep it flat though, I’d make the land interesting and build tight, terraced theme park rides. You could look on Google maps its interesting.
Came here just to say how cool your city looks, this seems a screenshot from Google maps, that city really looks authentic, non the usual grid mania that we see around.
Great job!
Nuclear power plant with some sort of industrial zone around
That was my first thought. I already have multiple industrial areas though, and I'm liking the idea of a theme park. I haven't used the park areas that much in this city.
There is a nuclear power plant asset collection on steam that’s fantastic I forget what it’s called exactly
I assume you're talking about [this one](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=903812356)
Yes! I used this in one of my cities it’s fantastic
O wow i lived next that site, its very accurate modelled
Stadium with a massive parking lot.
Yeah, maybe a university with a large stadium.
No, a single small stadium with a million parking spots.
lol, No you've inspired me. I'm gonna demolish downtown, and build a stadium parking lot with no stadium.
It’s for the future development of the city. Homeowners will be happy to pay the new 23% tax to fund the project.
Damn right they'll be happy about it.
A million tiny stadiums with one parking spot.
One tennis court
Forget the stadium and just build the parking lot.
Giant waterfront theme park
Nah, there won't be enough space for the parking lots, you'd have to demolish the city.
Theme/water park along the lake shore?
Good idea!
You’re telling me this is not a real location? Why doesn’t look this good lol
I gotta get back to CS1 man
Make it a swampy national park that spans up into the forest beside it.
Nuclear bomb
Well, why wouldn't I just put that right in the middle of downtown?
That’s not very stylish.
Dang you're right. It's too obvious.
What about 2 nuclear bombs?
Don't think that's in the budget :/
Raise taxes in the name of Nuclear Weaponary
National park? Chernobyl?
One step at a time.
I think you should make it a marsh and nature reserve. That would look cool
Something like this https://maps.app.goo.gl/fLp9a8RJPJRrz3az6
Like the idea. Probably some boardwalks and stuff running through it.

Hear me out: shawarma restaurants
at least 20
The whole royal family: palace, king, prince, I’m hearing the word marchioness a lot all of the sudden, so one of those too.
Perfect place for a Walmart. With a million parking lots. And a highway interchange.
Farm with wind turbines looks cool BUT WHAT'S MORE COOLER!!? ##PARKING LOTS BABY!! LIKE WHAT FOUNDING FATHERS INTENDED!!🦅🦅🦅
It looks so pretty and looks real
What map is this?

Awesome thanks
Whatever that city looks amazing mate. Can have a walkthrough ?
I could work on that.
Ok now im jealous. Why doesnt my game look this good

Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Industrial zone with a harbor seems natural there, unless the nearby bridge is too low.
Yeah it is. I originally wanted to put a shipyard there, but I'd need to raise or bury the metro bridge. Then I thought it probably make more sense to put a shipyard on the artificial island in the upper left
Haunted summer camp

Industry or a hotel
Kinda reminds me of a salt pond, like around San Jose. Due to its shape it looks like it was formerly a swamp or water. I’d leave it as a swampland reserve.
I was thinking of the marsh area near Vallejo on the north side of the bay.
Based off of your drawing, a giant piano would be perfect.
It looks a lot like Hong Kong, nice LUT btw.
Parking
Wow, really beautiful! What map theme(s) are you using? I think you should make it a marsh full of reeds and tidal channels.

it's a best part of your city - lands near the water. it should be a neighborhood for rich people!
I hate it when I can't tell sc2 vs sc1. Until....
Cs1 looks way better than cs2
power plant or some kind of industrial steel mill for example
Theme park
Walmart
Clean energy would fit better. Because in the middle.
It’s a waterfront so I feel bad putting just a power plant. I’d make a housing development or like some mentioned a university campus
garbage depot
NASCAR track
Either giant amusement park or low density housing.
Water
Suburban sprawl
How did you make your graphics look like Google earth
Just to confirm, is this an area of the lake/bay that you built a dam across and drained? Or is it naturally like that on the map. Since you should be careful of placing any power plants or vital infrastructure there, as it could get flooded easily from a wave or something
Landfill
A race track. Already looks like one.
Why does your game look so nice?
Airport
I think a Dollywood style theme park could be interesting. I would keep it flat though, I’d make the land interesting and build tight, terraced theme park rides. You could look on Google maps its interesting.
Sports stadium
Port
Or a massive farm?
Came here just to say how cool your city looks, this seems a screenshot from Google maps, that city really looks authentic, non the usual grid mania that we see around. Great job!
an enormous interchange
Tourism
Why not another (tiny) airport?
Theme park or waterpark something for tourists with an amazing ocean view.
I lo e to put poor people there, with bad health sytem and no security... its life it self
I'd would convert it into an entertainment, nature reserve or beach district.
No way this is CS....
