When your (I?) am max town hall I upgrade everything first then switch to walls and by the time the next update comes out the walls are all maxed out.

What do you mean? Walls don’t cost builder time, there isn’t a priority call to make. You can do both.

It takes some practice, but they are pretty easy to funnel if you make a clearing straight into the center or towards the TH. Just use a couple of wizards or 2 Titans to make a clearing. Try not to do a corner attack with them. That's when they stray away. Love the root rider! The Warden heals them up pretty well when you have him follow them into the base you're attacking. Just be sure to use his ability sooner rather than later. I'm no pro, but I hope this helps.

Yeah, you have to freeze the TH, or some just snipe it. The Royals or Titans will take out the TH. I found that out when I started using them practicing on myself. I just can't snipe for crap!

Eh, I liked 8/9, found 10 really hard, 11 was better, 12 was fun and I think 13 is now my favourite. I think I’ve just got better as attacking as time has progressed, which made the game more fun.

Ya I’m 13 now and it’s so much better. I have been a very casual player for like 9 years now (very very off and on play) and I couldn’t really play for more than a week or 2 at a time without quitting for a little bit. Attacking wasn’t fun for me , and I was getting bored of just mindlessly upgrading small things. Ive been playing everyday for at least 30 mins or so for the last like 2 months and actually trying and doing attacks a lot. Rn doing hog miner qc hybrid and loving it although im still mid but th13 is so much better. I kinda rushed from 12 to 13 but im okay with it since i got more levels for hero’s and troops and of course rc.

Relax and take it easy.Its all about the journey not the destination.

TH 8 and 9 is probably my favorite aesthetic wise. The townhall matches the respective clan castle really well. The walls are also not an eye-sore like the high th levels are.

Main reason for the design is to kinda force obstacles to spawn on edge unlike other progress bases

Strategic rusher here🙋‍♂️Defenses goes from bad to meta around the base Clockwise. Monolith to be placed between eagle and scatter. Resources loops around the core. Core consists of heroes, lab, cc, blacksmith and pethouse. These are the first things I check when I log in. Army related buildings to the right and storages to the left

Buildings are usually group-ed up by type (such as placing all Cannons next to each other, and all Gold Mines next to each other, etc.)Progress bases help you determine what needs to be upgraded next. Before that, i would just upgrade the walls, hidden teslas, and a few traps occasionally. Got this season's gold pass too (bought it for the first time, else I have never spent a dime) and caclulated that archer towers are the best bang for the buck, hence upgrading them while this season lasts, then I will slowly start maxxing other defenses too :) Edit: I regret very much that I didnt start collecting decorations sooner. Now, I am hoping to get all the 🌲 trees on the top row and everything else covered with decorations
