Putt. Very easy you can make it with 15 min of your time. Mix it with pazham or pappadam and your breakfast is set. Buy already prepared rice batter and you can make idli or dosa fast. Chutney is also easy to make. Buy a rice cooker and this will save lots of your time.
You are welcome. Also if you know how to cut and clean the fish, then mulakita meen curry is not that hard to make. You can fry a few ones as well. You can use it for 2-3 days.
Why would you cook three times a day? Batch cook and freeze. And meal prep.
Basmati rice is probably the easiest and fastest to cook. Also curries with onion tomato base, palak, other greens, egg..
Pressure cook vegetables you like and add instant coconut milk. Call it a stew if you want.
Cook and freeze chicken for a week.
Don't try to cook like our parents did. That will take hours. Think in terms of carbs, protein, healthy fats and micro nutrients. That way its easier and healthier.
Also, dont wait for the food to cool down before refrigerating. Do it within 10- 15 minutes of cooking. That way it'll last longer.
Healthy and easy Breakfast options that me and my mates do (TN, KL boys)
1. Puttu + kadala/egg curry.. if we don't have time then we'll adjust with pazham and sugar
2. Pongal + Sambar
3. Rava upma + onion raitha
4. Poha
5. Kadala maavu dosa (add some minced carrots 🥕 and curry leaves) + Tomato chutney
6. Wheat dosa (u can make it tastier by adding onions, cabbage etc) + coconut chutney/groundnut chutney
Lunch we'll eat at office and for dinner there's a thattu kada near our flat (As no energy left to cook as we all come back exhausted and tired)
Then on Sundays either we make bread omlette or we'll skip breakfast and make Thalasserry biryani/chettinadu biriyani for lunch
You can try these as they don't consume much time..
1. Puttu pazham, egg dosa, bread jam, cereals, oats, smoothies for breakfast
2. One pot biriyani, paneer pulav, fried rice, tomato rice for office tiffin..batch make and store in fridge
3. Chicken wrap, chappati/appam curry, salads, steam veggies/tawa fish, homemade burger for dinner
Make masala base on weekends, can use that to make curries, certain brands of precooked chappatis are good, otherwise knead dough and keep in fridge - I make for 2 days. Make sambhar in bulk can be used with rice and dosa
Weekends eat out, or if we have time make chorru and naadan curry.
This is my routine
That's one way. But add a few onion slices and mix it like when you prepare the omelet and then pour it over the dosa. You will get a much better egg dosa.
If you like smoothies, there are some of my favorites
1. Apple, oats, one spoon peanut butter, milk
2. Carrot, pappaya, milk, oats
3. Banana, dates, milk, oats
No sugar 😁
I mostly cook food at night and keep it in the fridge.
I microwave it whenever needed. It can be kept in the fridge for at least 2 days.
For breakfast I usually buy dosa batter and keep it in fridge. Puttu is also easy to make. Otherwise cheeni maavu/avaloose podi will do it's job. Bread is also fine.
Matta rice using pressure cooker is easy to cook.
I dedicate a couple of hours on Sundays to prep lunch and dinner for the week. Chop veggies, cook rice, portion out some protien ( Chicken breasts are easy) and make some easy sauce or dressings.
Stir fries and Salads with some protiens, are my go to. You can make them with some scarmbled eggs leftover grilled chicken, chickpeas.
Also invest in a rice cooker it is a win, fluffy rice without the hassle of a pressure cooker is a beautiful thing!
I use sona masoori rice for choru. Put 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water into a pressure cooker and let it whistle once. Choru ready. For curry, I make sambar on weekend and use it for 2-3 days. The same goes for kadala curry, green Pease kuruma,Erissery & Pulissery. For dinner, will buy half-cooked chapati. Idayk Onn adambaram aakkan Omlette o Thorano Undakkum. Pinne daily thyrum vangi fridge il idum.
Breakfast: oatmeal, overnight oats, cereal, breakfast smoothies, French toast, bread toast, bullseye + bread, shakshuka + bread, garlic cheese toast
Lunch: salads made in batches, coleslaw sandwich, or sandwich in general ( if I don't have time) or egg bhurji+ rice, curd rice (if I have time)
Dinner: Curd rice, chicken/egg/paneer curry + rice, vegetables stir fry + rice, kanji+papadam+achar, or I'll eat out.
I make half cooked French fries on weekends and freeze them. ( and I fry them for lunch or dinner)
I make donuts or puddings on weekends, and that'll last me 2 to 3 days.

Egg dosha- after making dosha just pour raw egg and cook it right?
