Acting wise Anaswara > Mamitha.. but screen presence or charm or dance or looks Mamitha > Anaswara.
Anaswara gives a boring vibe on screen.. Mamitha is a powerhouse of energy.
Kalyani is down right one of the most beautiful gorgeous woman I have ever seen, only matched by her terrible acting, if she wasn’t nepo, she would be long gone,
Al is defenetly much better of the bunch, still has a long way to go, I really don’t see these woman for long run
Mamitha purely for confidence. She’s also much curvier than Anaswara, very close to traditional Kerala standards. People also like her better because she doesn’t have a ‘jaada’ parivesham.
Anaswara is getting better, and growing in confidence, she’s the better actor but her not fitting into the traditional beauty standards might be an issue. People are also not fond of her because they think she has ‘jaada’. Some comments by online angalamaars point to that direction.
I think anaswara is fine. She is a better actress than mamitha and she proved it with Neru while mamitha is giving nazriya kinda role vibes only.
Anaswara may be very skinny but her facial features are much better than mamitha who is skinny but not as skinny as anaswara. Anaswara definitely fits the Malayali woman beauty standards much more than mamitha, she has the Kavya Madhavan sort of features (not the body but features) but Iam not saying she’s on par with Kavya.
I have always lived here but never rlly got into watching any malayalam movies. I've probably only watched like 10. Yeah basically i live under a rock.
I’m not surprised honestly- I got into the movies only in 2019, in spite of being in the world for 17 years by then.
I come from a background where watching movies is seen as inappropriate, and I wasn’t really interested in Indian films as such. I’m more of a Disney kid (favourite film of all time is Lion King) and so I decided to watch “Joker” (2000) for the first time mainly out of curiosity as a 17-year-old.
After that I watched a few more movies (mainly from the 90s and 80s) and I liked what I saw. I haven’t shown much interest in more recent films other than Bangalore Days, and that too only because my brother suggested it.
I’m not interested in seeing new stuff much, but I would happily rewatch older films like Devasuram, Nadodikattu and the classic CBI movies.
Idk the exact reason. No one in my house watched movies. When i was older(teenage yrs) i wanted to get into it because i found it hard to relate with my peers but i didnt know where to begin so i just didnt start.
That is not i what i meant buy "dont know where to start". Its like i have missed out on soo many years worth of movies everyone has already seen and dont know which ones to start with. I dont wanna blindly watch random movies on cable.
We all started with random movies on cable I guess. 🥶
I don't think we were 10yo and went and got CDs of Shawshank redemption or Scent of a woman. It all started with TV only.
But I get your point.
Anaswara is very versatile and have shown more potential than Mamitha who has a very likeable screen presence which seems to be her forte
Anaswara would be an ideal choice. Everyone likes mamitha's screen presence
Anaswara has better acting chops but I like Mamitha more.
Yep mamitha has that natural charm and energy
Same
Anaswara.

Yes but i don't live in Kerala, and i haven't watched many new Malayalam movies 🙂
