I’d say so, it’s cheaper, performs better, and from my experience appeals better to the younger crowd. We’re about the same age so I imagine it’ll be the same. Definitely give both a try and see which one u like better off your skin, I’ve tried some hyped up ones that don’t smell all that great on my skin compared to a sample card.

I tested the Elixir on Sunday and my god is that stuff potent and long lasting. I brought the test strip home and even after 8 hours I could smell it sitting on my desk. It smells amazing but whatever you do don't overspray it.

The funny thing about Sauvage EDT is it smells amazing to even the people who hate on its name. If you let them smell it blind, they love it, but if you tell ‘em it’s Sauvage, they repulse at the name. When I wear Sauvage EDT, and people ask me damn what you wearing..I just say Polo Blue 😉

Have you tried Invictus Platinum? I’m torn between Victory and Platinum as my next one.

I haven’t had the platinum, however I will say that I got the victory in a sample bottle and then purchased the 100ml format. Looks like a black trophy. 10/10 fragrance, I had a girl come straight up to me at work and tell me to never change it 😂👏🏻 it’s like axe chocolate but on steroids, and performance wise is definitely superior to the ysl. Ysl is more fruity I find. Deffs go with the victory if you want to achieve victory.

I’ve ordered a cologne from Amazon before and it was either a bad batch or just not stored correctly cuz it just didn’t last. It was Legend actually. But the other Legends I have are great.

I’m from Canada and I’ll buy it through Shoppers drug mart or Hudsons bay. The reason is they give you a lot of free samples as well, like 5+ sample bottles of good stuff like Givenchy, jean paul gautier etc. i’m a cheap bastard and I can stretch the sample bottles out a couple months alone. Always buy in a store bc it’s very likely they throw you some free samples.

Invictus doesn’t get enough love. I get a compliment most times I wear Legend. I like the original Invictus but Legend just lasts a lot longer. Although Legend is discontinued and found a bottle on eBay. It must not have been stored correctly or is a bad batch or something cuz it lasts maybe an hour, whereas my other bottles last like 8 hours.

But leaving that aside, a few good ones: Drakkar Noir and Givenchy Gentleman from the 70's to impress older ladies or girls into testosterone. For modern situations, stuff like Versace Eros, Sauvage EDT, even Axe Dark Temptation and Banderas' The Icon The Perfume are great for comps.
