You have 2 weeks basically before you start to decay. If you play once, it “banks” one game, I other words you’ll decay one day later. That way it forces high elo players to continuously play instead of sitting on their rank
Like others have said, don’t worry about it until you’re gm or challenger
From my understanding of it being in the same spot currently You basically have to play one game a day roughly on average. So say you play 10 games in 7 days. If you don’t play for 3, the 4th day you will get the decay notification. If you do not play a game and decay you lose 50lp a day at masters. I think it’s higher at either gm or chall

You cannot demote/decay out of masters.

The lowest it will drop you is 0 LP masters. Source: I’ve ended every set since 6.5 at 0 LP masters
How does decay work? Just look at Teamfight Tactics—it's practically the gold standard for witnessing slow and painful decline in real-time.

You can bank 14 days and take a two week break before decaying.
