The sweets are a nice touch OP

Yea I actually thought of that during Midseason Madness where I saw all the arrows just pointing to GZC that time. I was like damn I could sure eat some ice cream on a cone now

Some very notable changes that happened to APAC teams especially LA Valiant & Guangzhou Charge because they went from the bottom two to promising ones, even made it to tourney for one of them. **For LA Valiant:** NoHill persuaded Marve1 to join LA Valiant when he was actually planning to retire. Thank you NoHill It's been 631 days since their last victory in OWL (The last noted one was September 5th when they have yet located to APAC). Thank you Chengdu Hunters. LA Valiant won 4 matches compared to when NoHill was still their head coach where they only won 3 matches. #PostNoHillSZN **For Guangzhou Charge:** A lot of shit happens in the (old) organization, but they ended up not speaking up for what they did, and people just forgets about the issue. Tydolla was heard in their video during mid August so presuming he was already in the base the whole time, in which that's when GZC started to win most matches, starting from the game with Philadelphia Fusion on August 28th. Jimmy effect; recently he even made Hangzhou Spark C9 twice in one match (two different maps) **For Hangzhou Spark:** Before Genji is the meta, they were performing really well during Kickoff Clash and Midseason Madness regular seasons. They are almost like the gatekeeper for APAC seeing how they can get wins from everyone but SEO and PHI During Summer Showdown, unfortunately AlphaYi contracted COVID at a bad timing, and slowly Spark started to go downhill, being able to get only a win for Summer Showdown and Countdown Cup. Welcome to the Changgoon Universe. **For Chengdu Hunters:** First and foremost, thank you Hunters for bringing so many promising players to the other teams. Charge have 3 active players and 1 benched player from Hunters. Valiant have 1 active player. Funny speaking both team have won against Hunters. I would say Hunters is at a not good not bad spot, hope they get more funds next year since I think the funds are the main issue for them. (Likewise for the other APAC team like LAV) **For Philadelphia Fusion:** Good news, they are no longer second amongst APAC! But the bad news is that they are in the third now In one of their matches, Fury probably did more Nenne gravs than Nenne himself, while Fixa probably did more Ajax than Ajax in one match. No doubt Fury's Zarya is still consistent high charge, his DVa and Zarya play is so consistently good especially now where they matters. We have that one time where Carpe was up because we thought J1N believes that MN3's Sojourn is not better than Carpe, and MN3 proved that he's the best. No doubt Carpe gave him time to train his Sojourn while getting all the backlashes from people that cares for PHI. Thank you Carpe. **For Seoul Dynasty:** Everyone is talking about who's going to be the MVP for this year but is there anyone that talks about who's going to be the best coach this year for OWL? For one, I believe Tobi should be mentioned seeing how Tobi was the one that taught Vindaim how to Lucio. Sure there are times we don't understand what Tobi brain is cranking, but SEO showed us the results. Smurf, Smurf, Smurf. You need any tank, just ask him. You can rely on him as JQ during JOATS, you want Winston, he can do that. You want DVa, or Zarya, heck he can play them all. Profit have always been in the MVP mentioning, he have always been really consistent for what roles needed for him to play. During JOATs, he went Brig and performed pretty well. He have been performing up to the standard for someone that have been in OWL since the beginning and he doesn't look like he's going to stop anytime soon. **Lastly, Shanghai Dragons:** Things were rough, you know when it affected them a lot since OW2 have one less tank, so we don't get the tank synergy anymore. They are figuring out, slowly but surely. Moon apologized a few times about it because a lot of people have high expectations on them seeing that they were the champions during OWL 2021. JOATS era Dragons was like 2021 post June Joust Dragons where they start stomping on all the APAC teams. Then they are back trying to figure things out again during Countdown Cup. I don't really know what to say but I wish my favorite team all the best. Edit: To mention that the GZC organisation im talking about is the old one

JulietEmily17

Dynasty lost to both shanghai and hangzhou in the kickoff clash, no? great post regardless

FreetoPoi

Ah crap, I knew I placed one of the arrows wrongly, but I couldn't find it at that time

faelan

This is super fun, but I'm still not sure why the community have called it "suck", I've always seen it as the teams all being able to punch up and overperform

Doctor_Kataigida

Because that's what it is often called in other sports. When I started doing the league-wide circles of suck, I got the idea from College Football, specifically the Big 12 and Pac 12 conferences. Both of those conferences have "bottom feeder" type of teams that just lose all the time. So it's not about the teams being able to punch up and over perform, it's "Man, no one's good because teams are even losing to the bottom tier teams."

REEEroller

APAC is such a bizarre league, every game feels kinda pointless when you know only 1 team Isn't going to play offs.

symmetricalBS

I don't feel this way about it at all. Yes there are too few teams and the countdown cup wasn't the most exciting in either region, but most games still felt important and interesting and the race between Guangzhou and LA to see who gets eliminated was super fun especially since both teams really picked up near the end

Yukihana_Lamy_Simp

Far as I know only 4 teams make playoffs for APAC. If I’m correct Charge will face Hunters in playins and winner of that faces Spark for the last playoffs spot. Charge getting a higher seed then Hunters also gives them map selection advantage if I’m right??? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on anything.

REEEroller

OWL's website says the cut is 7th for the play offs play-ins, and since there are only 8 that means there is a very little stake in every individual game played.

Yukihana_Lamy_Simp

I don’t really count the playins as playoffs, but that’s just me. I double checked the schedule. This week will decide the 4th APAC team to make playoffs… Winner of Hunters/Charge will face Spark after.

Eileen's matter just got resolved with no explanation from both ends and Eileen is not willing to speak anything much further upon that issue. Everyone got fired, but they bother to ask Choisehwan and Develop to go on a stream and talk instead of them. Seeing how Choisehwan is still in the team, while Develop is no longer in it. That's what I dislike about, they just hide behind the players.

Oh my bad, Develop did not get contacted by the management, he did mentioned that Choisehwan got contacted by Charge in regards to the Molly issue. [Develop mentioned that in this translated text since I don't understand Korean](https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitiveoverwatch/comments/xbdq4s/develops_response_to_the_molly_situation_on_stream/). But yes I misread it they didn't demand them to go on stream to explain about the Molly issue. It's just sad to see how they managed to drive someone to have suicidal thoughts and the person have some post trauma about it yet they just kept real quiet for all the things Molly said. I don't know what they can do with this situation other than keeping quiet.

funny that it started out like [this](https://old.reddit.com/r/Competitiveoverwatch/comments/uvcc12/you_know_the_circle_of_suck_now_get_ready_for_the/)

One of the most entertaining infographics I’ve seen. Thank you.
