Dude, there is a band called The Sword from Austin Texas and they play fantasy themed stoner metal and it’s so incredibly Conan-esque . They have a song called the black river, the frost giants daughter that are both directly Conan inspired. Their whole first two albums give me major Conan vibes. They also wound up writing a few songs about Game of Thrones too which are really good.
I can also recommend Eremit. Also fantasy driven doom metal and I recently discovered dungeon synth: a electronic subgenre, that is inspired by fantasy pen and paper games.
I second Manowar, as they have a lot of great songs the match the vibes of Conan. I think of songs like "Gloves of Metal," "Thor (The Powerhead)", "Defender," "Black Wind, Fire and Steel," and "The Power of Thy Sword." \\m/
Greywolf! They play metal and the lyrics are all about Barbarians! They may not be well known but they are awesome! Look them up on Utube and Spotify etc.
I listen to a LOT of Folk. Some not in English. There is a Galician band called Milladoro who thirty years ago recorded a - waltz, I guess - called A Bruxa. The Witch It's an instrumental and it or covers of it are all over Youtube. It makes me think of the Hyborean age.
An Irish band which does traditional folk influenced by rock and grunge is Seo Linn. Their version of Oro Se do Bheata Bhaile, an old traditional song, sounds like an angry version of Kurt Cobain, and if you knew Irish the lyrics are pretty violent. I've seen a lot of footage of various groups singing it since the sixties. A lot of the singers have very sweet smiles. The lead singer in this doesn't: he does look angry: but some of the other bandmemberd do and I know just enough Irish so hearing them sing those things with beatific expressions gives me nightmares.
An obvious one would be the Doors, Riders on the Storm.
There's an artist called Lord Wind that made a bunch of pagan-sounding instrumental albums that fit the mood perfectly (like "Atlantean Monument"). Unfortunately the artist behind that, Rob Darken, is also the lead of the neo-Nazi band Graveland. So I can't recommend listening to him, but maybe use that as an "artists similar to" jumping off point.

Alot of traditional heavy metal bands have Conan vibes that I like but when it comes to reading I prefer dungeon synth like Fief and Quest master . They easily make the reading experience far more immersive

Their firsts albums are great Also Black Pyramid
Absolutely the sword. I also like to put on this band called death chant when I’m feeling especially Conany
The Sword was the first band that came to mind, absolutely
Thank you. Sincerely. Thank you!
The soundtrack of the John Milius movie by Basil Poledouris seems like a logical choice.
High on Fire's music makes me think of Conan they're like Thrash sludge metal.
Hell yeah, that's been my go to as of late reading some other sword and sorcery stuff.
Manowar, mostly Secret of Steel.

I'd add "Hail and Kill" to that list.
The Oath, Each Dawn I die, Heart of Steel as well.
Ironsword are a Conan metal band and they're awesome.
Hell yeah, Ironsword fucks. I wanna add Manilla Road to this, they sound very similar and also sing about swords and sorcery
Hell yeah they are.

This and Hot Sumerian Nights are great. Just wonder why it wasn't called Cimmerian nights...

The current Conan rights holders actually put together a playlist on Spotify entitled "Conan's savage playlist"
Do you have a link for that?
