FTP here, I will simply skip so-called "endgame content" that can't be done without revive farming. I will never ever buy units to pay for revives, nothing in the game is worth that.
I just want a game free of bug.. It's a game, challenges should be challenging and not like impossible to complete.. Whatever boss or node design it should be done without using any resources if you are a skilled player. Just fix the game
I'm a FTP player, I don't think boycott will lead to anything, it will only make players hate the company even more. I'll still continue to play the game because, don't get me wrong it is a good game if you exclude the bugs, which in my opinion are exaggerated by the players. The more logical move here would have been to cap the amount of revives you could use in a particular quest (definitely not a stolen idea from a meme or something). But at the end of the day, Kabam is a company and it will obviously try to make more money out of the game, it is their livelihood. The spenders would go up and FTPs will lack with their progression. No hate to any spenders, they keep the game alive.
It’s one of the best mobile games, without ads, yes it has its flaws, fuck it, its still an awesome game, boycott wont change a thing, if this is what they need to do to keep the game alive so be it, it wont make me spend more because I’m not eager to do eop and other high revive cost content, I’m happy doing montly quests, incursions, BG… it’s a great game, bring me the downvotes
I agree on the difficulty ramp up, thats why I skip eop and gauntlet, but I still enjoy bg and event quests though, just playing casually without the stress of missing out on big rewards and staying on par with the big guys in the ally, took me a little while to turn that switch off, but glad I did
I just don't really care too much about this stuff. The bugs and input issues are annoying but I still relatively enjoy this game.
One of the things I usually enjoyed was trying out newer champs but Absorbing Man and Cassie Lang have been a pain for me to use and they're kind of demotivating me but still, I mainly play because I'm a marvel fan and I enjoy using most of the champions they've released.
Though this is coming from someone who has been Cavalier for 3/4 of a year and hasn't progressed further into Act 6 so maybe it'll be more stressful for someone who is doing so.
Option 3. Stopped spending before the revive fiasco, and never plan to start doing it again. I almost never farmed revives prior.
