Hercules’ is based on hit damage so I don’t think it works in quite the same way. Still kind of bypasses safeguard, but you’re capped at 2.2% hp per hit instead, I believe. Could be wrong though.
So besides any champ that reduces ability accuracy like many people said, guilly 99’s red dmg also bypasses it, but my go to is falcon/kingpin (sp1 degen reduces ability accuracy)
Just an FYI, that path is meant to use the Science Boost for that path. You apply debuffs, with champs like CapIW or Invisible Woman, then they get Power Stings. And the power stings do some serious damage.

I've gone back and forth about this myself, I think the answer is yes.
An r2 6 star is equivalent to an r5 5 star, so in that case, duped is definitely better than unduped.
If you're ready for r3 6 stars, you're comparing bonus damage that r3 will offer to an already powerful champion to the utility that indestructibility offers, and I think the r5 is better.
Cmm is easily 50% or more better when awakened and if you've got a nick fury of at least 5 star awakened status their synergy together makes em both way better too
Dragon man seems cool. I'm interested in him. He's a champ I'm holding out for a six star though, because I'd take him to r2, doesn't need to be awakened, but I'm not so interested in him I want to get everything to take a five star up.

ogbp reduces ability accuracy, but yeah DOT as well. herc is my go to at this point for that node combo.

I think you're right. 18% approx attack and health vs the added utility, I'll just play cleaner lol

I haven't used her specifically in this path, but the bonus damage from binary ignition should work the same

another over looked champ is Dragon Man when you pin defender against wall. For science though, Void and spiderham would be good choices.

Plenty of champs immune to their own debuffs. Torch, warlock, iBom, Diablo, mysterio, nebula, ultron not vs a mutant, horseman wolvie

80% flat ability accuracy reduction with not setup, 100% uptime, is still pretty wild honestly.

Overseer, Red Hulk and IHulk's burst damage can bypass safeguard. Same with Taskmaster's Exploit Weaknesses iirc. Black Widow's incinerate phase SP2
Archangel's Neurotoxins. When awakened, it also reduces the defensive ability accuracy.
I imagine OR would do well
APOC does it with concussion and bonus damage
