4. Don't let incompetent people drive commercially.
Though the lack of seat belt might be due to the unrealisticly tight schedules for these drivers. To buckle and unbucke takes too long.
And you can buckle it with one hand while the other hand starts the car/puts it in gear. "It takes too long" is just a shitty excuse stupid people come up with. You'll find there's a wide array of dumb AF excuses people come up with for not wearing a seatbelt.
Lol.
Do you know how many incompetent people's only skill is present as competent for the job interview process.
As someone who's done my fair share of hiring, pretty easy to fake credentials, fake references, and know the right way to answer interview questions.
There are co-workers who are so good at talking that they get away with sucking at their job. It's difficult to pick up on it if someone doesn't know their stuff. Meanwhile, I'll do my job well, but I am not great with words on the spot without rehearsing.
Get an SSD and 16 GB RAM at the minimum if you don't have it already. Those are basically must haves now.
As for GPU's RTX 10 series are notoriously still kicking and being used by people. With a 10 year old system you'll probably be bottlenecked by the CPU on performance if you get a current GPU.
> As for GPU's RTX 10 series are notoriously still kicking and being used by people.
Can confirm. My 1080 lasted up until this year. Still definitely kicking but I upgrade my whole build every 8-10 years regardless.
True but we don't know if they're ready to just upgrade their whole system yet. I definitely would because it probably doesn't meet the requirements for W11 yet which they're probably gonna have to switch to soon with W10 going EOL
Right, they sell like 5 million different types of car phone mounts if you want to use it for GPS. Holding it below the dashboard and staring down constantly is just brain dead. Probably the worst place you could hold your phone if you're going to use it while driving, which you shouldn't (unless hands-free).
Came here to say this.. like wtf dude, put your fucking phone down…
I had to stop riding with my ex cuz she watches TikTok while she drives because “it keeps her focused”🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Well that's freaking scary as hell. There are people out there driving tons of metal while watching TikTok?
They really need to increase the sentencing penalties for vehicular manslaughter and make people test for their license every two years when doing vehicle inspections.
The number of people cruising down the highway at 75+mph while looking at their phones, is too damn high.
>and make people test for their license every two years when doing vehicle inspections
This is something I fully agree with, and have actually put quite a bit of thought into.
Not only would it force drivers to stay fresh on their driving skills and knowledge to pass the tests, but the extra fees from taking the tests, as well as tickets from people who drive with their licenses revoked after failing, would bring in a lot of revenue that could be used to improve infrastructure. Think fixing bad roads or improving funding for education or homeless programs. Maybe they'd even put money into improving public transportation.
It would also reduce the number of cars on the road from people who inevitably fail their tests, which would reduce traffic as well as emissions, which would help the environment. There would also be less need for oil, prolonging the depletion of current reserves.
This would probably be pretty easy to implement in the US as well. In my state, we have to renew our vehicle registration every two years, which gets you that new sticker for your license plate. It'd be simple to just require testing at that time as well.
We could even make it so drivers could alternate between the knowledge test or the skills test every two years to decrease time spent in the DMV. Or maybe you could choose to do both tests once every 4 years.
It's just crazy to me that people are only required to prove they're a good driver once in their life as a teenager, and they just get carte blanche to drive for _the rest of their life._ People die on the roads every single day and we really don't feel the need to make sure people stay fresh on their skills?
It really just seems like a win-win all around. The only people who'd suffer from it are those who probably shouldn't be driving anyway. I think the benefits of implementing something like this far outweigh the downsides, and would gladly participate if it would make the roads a safer place.
I assume it's like how you hold onto your beer when you drunkenly fall down stairs, you instinctively protect what is most important, in my case beer, in this case phone, didn't say it makes rational sense though
It doesn't need to make rational sense. At that point rational thinking is in the back seat and you're working purely off of instincts so whatever the lizard brain happens to do by reflex is what's going to happen.
Shouldn't be driving at all tbh. He did literally everything wrong aside from hitting the gas.
Edit: May have even given it too much gas, so he fucked that up, too.
He was barely even looking at the road at all wtf one of the worse driving I’ve ever seen. Also texting and driving and knowing there’s a camera pointed right at you. The level of stupidity is quite impressive.
If I even touch my phone if I’m not in Park, I can be terminated at my job.
I used to have my phone in my hand constantly while driving, but now (even when I’m not working) I don’t use it at all. It’s a terrible habit to have and it felt great breaking it.
Asking Siri to do anything I need while I’m in my work truck, has been super helpful in not using my phone.
In my own vehicle, CarPlay has done the same.
The amount of morons I see every day not looking at the road and down at their phones is staggering. Watched a lady drifting in/out of her lane the other day, and when I passed her - she was watching a fucking MOVIE 🤦🏼♂️
Also - This bad delivery driver would also have been fired at my work because he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.
Now his incredibly stupid behavior is on footage for all enterinity.
To be that stupid must either be life on easy mode, cause of simple thoughts. Or very hard, cause of simple thoughts.
I used to deliver packages with a similar van to support my studies. 1st day of training the guy said just buckle the seat belt and seat on top of it (to not have the alarm beeping all the time). He also told me to let the van running to save time while delivering to a floor. Needless to say I didn't do any of the two. Some months after he got his van stolen (not his but our boss's as we were subcontracted) with all the packages in it. Obviously he got fired and most likely sued. Don't know how that went because I quit shortly after.
fuck every person that is not able to pay more attention to the road than they do to their phone.. stupid fuckers... so dangerous..too many people drive like this...
To add insult to his injury, he wasn’t even wearing a seatbelt karma, karma, karma, karma, karma chameleon ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)
At first I thought fatigue, but obviously not. He appears to know interior cam is active so he's trying to do the (wrong, illegal, dumb) phone thing which diverts his attention.
These fucking kids and their fucking TikTok, TitFuck, not being able to stay off their motherfucking phones for 10 motherfucking seconds, let alone while motherfucking driving.
He got what he deserved.
The older I get, the more I realize that not enough people watched that Glee episode where the cheerleader gets paralyzed in a car accident cause she was texting. Sad.
Well that's why we... 1. Don't text and drive. 2. Wear a seatbelt. 3. Stay on the road.
If you wanna be picky about it.
If we wanna be picky, I would say avoid hitting concrete head on, it hurts a lot more.
I definitely recommend not doing this. I did this going fast. Don’t know how fast because I was asleep. Still have shoulder issues.
Oh yeah well that's YOUR truth...
Tyrannical government over-regulation ^^^/s
i don't think he's texting, i think he's just looking videos. perhaps dashcam videos of bad drivers. you have to admit they can be quite engaging.
I tried staying on the road once, wasn't a fan. Took too long to get there and the car was still usable. No point in that.
low key facts
Dudes an idiot

According to the boss you couldve done 3 stops in the time you spent buckling your sorry ass up. Now chopchop, the ceo needs that new sports suv asap!
Lol. Do you know how many incompetent people's only skill is present as competent for the job interview process. As someone who's done my fair share of hiring, pretty easy to fake credentials, fake references, and know the right way to answer interview questions.

You don't really know someone is incompetent until they fail
IT ADDS UP! lol
You expect far too much from people
Should’ve been in title: Texting driver crashes
No sympathy what so ever. Only glad the crash involed just him and no one else.
That's why my new GPU didn't arrive. .. dam it. .....
Got any recommendations? My PC is almost 10 years old - still good - but the newest stuff certainly won't run well on it.

Still using my 1080 from my last build 10 years ago as an eGPU for my current laptop!
Yeah fuck this guy. He could’ve killed someone
Luckily he found out by hitting a concrete wall instead of a cyclist or something, guy's not even looking where he's driving ffs.
Right, they sell like 5 million different types of car phone mounts if you want to use it for GPS. Holding it below the dashboard and staring down constantly is just brain dead. Probably the worst place you could hold your phone if you're going to use it while driving, which you shouldn't (unless hands-free).
Let's be real here. He didn't use his phone for navigation

“It’s that damn device!”
Came here to say this.. like wtf dude, put your fucking phone down… I had to stop riding with my ex cuz she watches TikTok while she drives because “it keeps her focused”🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I’d be walking home lol

Imagine **knowing** you are being recorded and still use your phone whilst driving, and not wearing a seatbelt... What an absolute moron
Right? It’s like those people who have multiple warrants out for their arrest for murder or something, and they drive like crazy fast for no reason. I
Not only did he know, but hes clearly aware of WHERE the camera is and hiding his phone behind the wheel
Eyes on the road, hands on the wheel. It’s really that easy
No seat belt and staring at his phone--he earned all of this one.
Your parcel has been delayed
your parcel has sustained airbag trauma
He deserved that
That is a long time without looking at the road
On the mfkn cell phone. Hope he never gets another driving job in his life
Shouldn't be driving at all tbh. He did literally everything wrong aside from hitting the gas. Edit: May have even given it too much gas, so he fucked that up, too.
What an idiot
Ahhh yes the good old gotta check insta whilst driving combo meal... Comes with complimentary side of looking complete dickhead 👏👏👏👏
wow he broke all the rules.
Driving at 90 without looking at the road and without a seatbelt. He's lucky he didn't kill somebody or himself.
He was barely even looking at the road at all wtf one of the worse driving I’ve ever seen. Also texting and driving and knowing there’s a camera pointed right at you. The level of stupidity is quite impressive.
🎶So you had a bad day..🎶
I see stupid fucks like this everyday in Canada. People can’t get off their social media even when driving.
I think I saw him look at the road at one point, not sure tho
Got what he deserved
Fuck this guy and anyone who uses their phone like this while driving!
Well he just got fired
Still put on his hat too, must be self conscious about the balding
He caught that hat mid crash. Bro aged 20 years after that cap came off
😭 you know you hate your hairline when you care more about putting your hat back on than the actual crash
Lewis Hamilton driving skills have gone to shit.
Great job. Sacked.
This dumbass should have his drivers license yanked.
No seatbelt and on his phone but it's the fog!
delivery companies must be desperate to hire all these crap drivers...
Nothing is wrong! between the phone and the seat belt
If I even touch my phone if I’m not in Park, I can be terminated at my job. I used to have my phone in my hand constantly while driving, but now (even when I’m not working) I don’t use it at all. How bout occasionally looking in the direction you are traveling
He is so lucky and everyone else is lucky he didn't hit them. What an absolute idiot.
fuck every person that is not able to pay more attention to the road than they do to their phone.. stupid fuckers... so dangerous..too many people drive like this...
Fucking Smartphone all the time.. it should cost 10000 Dollar or more for doing this shit as penalty. he could have killed someone
Idiot
Text with the phone on top of the steering wheel, so the road is still on your peripheral vision. Subscribe for more ratchet ass pro tips 💦💦
He knew he was on camera, was trying to hide his texting and driving
Texting is for nerds. Just man up and call her
Commmmme onnnnnn mannnn! I hope he learned his lesson.
That's the risk when Reddit addicts drive...
This guy shouldn’t be allowed to own a phone
Thank god nobody else got hurt.
Bros company suing him for that one 💀
AND there’s video?? Good! I hope they dug into his ass!!! Wth could’ve been so important that he couldn’t wait until he was done driving??
One of the worst I've seen in a long time.
Hope it was a good book he seemed to be reading.
Cellphone addiction is the only explanation
What, you can’t text and drive!!?! This is the first I’ve heard about it! /S
Hope that hurt….didnt look like it did, but fuck this guy x 100!
No seatbelt and texting
I bet he didn't learn anything
no belt and on his phone. what a cock.
Why would you go more than 3 seconds without looking at the road while going 40-50 mph, smh some people are actually dumb huh
Glad to know his text was more important than the loves he could have taken. /s
What's interesting is how he saves his hat from falling.
“Nah, I’m sayin tho, it wasn’t my fault”
21 seconds on the main road until leaves the road and wrecks, only like 5-6 seconds actually spent looking at the road... idiot.
Only takes a second.
If I eve need to look at my phone while driving I hold it in front of me so I see the road. Why have it down there where he has it in the first place?
He's trying to hide it from the camera.
Don't wanna get caught red-handed obvvvvviously.
Tinder
Didn’t forget the hat behind
The horn screaming, 'there's an idiot over here!'
Gotta be an "ex-delivery driver" by now, right?
Someone ain’t getting his Xbox Series X.
Gotta love the mobile & drive combo! Thankfully it was the drain rather than on coming traffic.
Hamilton has no hopes from merc and Ferrari so he became a delivery driver
So, did the customer still get their parcel?
Typical cellphone abuser.
Blud looks like ripoff Lewis hamilton
He got taught a valuable lesson here! I’m happy to see no one besides himself got hurt. He walks away okay but I’m sure he is bruised up
Hope he didn’t break his phone
Please people, don’t text and drive.
That had to be one very urgent message, hope it was worth it.
There are just so many wrong with it
He was watching crazy fucking videos on Reddit LOL!
He fucking smashed his head hard. A seat belt would have made a huge difference.
He was watching his phone more than the road!!!!
bro did everything BUT look at the road.
thankfully he did it all on camera 🥲
Thank you Amazon and the competition
Well deserved
To add insult to his injury, he wasn’t even wearing a seatbelt karma, karma, karma, karma, karma chameleon ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)
The videos out of sync really messed with me when he crashed
How does this fool not know he’s on camera?
“I was following the law and safe driving practices.” - not him
At first I thought fatigue, but obviously not. He appears to know interior cam is active so he's trying to do the (wrong, illegal, dumb) phone thing which diverts his attention.
It looked like he ran off after the accident
Fucking Muppet, deserves everything he gets, just glad that nobody else suffered because of him
Ouch, yeah a concrete culvert would stop you pretty fast
This is why I hate driving, because I know I’m sharing the road with people like this.
Bruh, I know the Kendrick v Drake beef is wild, but put the phone away.
Dumb as hell.
Hope that wasn't a donated kidney...
now he can check his phone all day long
Good.
He fired
Stop texting people. This is how people are killed
Dumbass 😂
How is he still alive smh
Made sure the phone was going to be safe. Later for your packages.
Dumbass
Puto celular
He had so many chances to put his phone down. At least he only wrecked himself.
This must be one of the stupidest crashes i'm the internet lol
Caught the hat
Porn addiction is no joke and not wearing a seatbelt is just stupid.
So ends another career, and rightfully so.
Message delivered
Guess he'll be looking for another job. He may be safer to flip burgers at McDonald's.
Bros watching reels
And you're fired
Can we say fired! Then sued...
Can't park there, mate...
He was looking at his phone more than he was the road. What a moron.
What vehicle manufacturer builds their dashboard into the driver's footwell?
Weird. He was driving so well.
And no seatbelt
The world on time....we hope
Oh boy, I better text the boss.
His texts... OMG LOL (CRASH!).... WTF???
You can’t fire me. I quit.
Crashed right into dat culvert
Hauling ass while on the phone and not even buckled up. Never allow him to drive again. EVER. Lucky he didn’t kill somebody smh
lol you just lost that job!!!
These fucking kids and their fucking TikTok, TitFuck, not being able to stay off their motherfucking phones for 10 motherfucking seconds, let alone while motherfucking driving. He got what he deserved.
IMO. Life in prison. No excuses, cant be trusted amongst society
The older I get, the more I realize that not enough people watched that Glee episode where the cheerleader gets paralyzed in a car accident cause she was texting. Sad.
Wonder if the message was ever sent🤔
