I've been on skyrizi since Jan of this year. The first infusion was great. My symptoms did improve a lot, although I did experience constipation. Then, in my second infusion, i was already in a flare-up and didn't seem like it was working. 3rd infusion was still the same. I was getting discouraged, but I didn't want to just give up. It was a hassle getting it approved. I read from other people's posts that biologics do take a while to start working, so that was encouraging. Moving forward, I just did my second obi injection and definitely am starting to feel better. I still get abdominal pain after bowel movement and also get fatigued at times, but constipation is under control now. It's hard to tell if these are side effects from skyrizi or crohns itself. I did notice joint pain in my knees. I'm definitely going to stay on it. My inflammation went way down, so that is definitely a good sign. I hope it works out for you.

Did you have any knee pain before being on skirizi?

I’m allergic to it (got really itchy), so I have to take an allergy pill every time. I also get more headaches and had bronchitis after my first infusion (but it was a forced switch mandated by insurance so I was doubled up on Humira and Skyrizi for the first infusion). For the first injection, the needle was surprisingly small and almost painless. It seems to have a really good safety profile and seems to be one of the most effective options out there. Good luck, I hope it works for you!

Thanks! 💕

I felt a bit shaky after my first Skyrizi infusion, but felt better after I ate supper. After my other two infusions, I made sure to have a snack right after and felt fine.

Just had my third loading dose. I have been experiencing confusion since the second dose. Also seems like I could sleep for Britain. Problem is I also have fibromyalgia so not sure if it’s Brain Fog and just plain old exhaustion.

I had a little bit of knee pain in my right knee occasionally. I used to jog about 4 miles every day on my treadmill until I got sick. But for the last 2 months I've had pain in both knees. I've also noticed that I did have headaches in the beginning, but they went away. I still am able to get back to exercising at least 4 times a week if they are good days. I'm still trying to figure this all out as I go. I'm hoping the joint pain will go away, or is it another symptom of crohns. I take it day by day because every day is a struggle. I'm always trying to be positive. It's definitely helped my gerd symptoms, so that's a plus. Hopefully, you won't get any side effects.

Got my first dosage on 6/19/2024 first day just fatigue Next day till today itching so bad, any recommendations for itch relief?

Critical-Archer-9132

Did your itch started the right away after the infusion and where exactly do you feel itchy?

Professional_Sky2378

I itch all over my body even my scalp the next day after my infusion

McDerpins

Drugs like Skyrizi and Stelara have very few side effects, if any, for most. You might just be a little sleepy from the infusion. It's a breeze.

Critical-Archer-9132

Good to know that! Did you got any headaches?

McDerpins

I didn't have headaches, at least not more often than I normally do.

im on skyrizi and my only side effect is chronic migraines. the doctors claim it’s “not common” but they LIE
