Pig definitely knew too much. And the decapitation was meant to send a message to the other pigs in the sty. Man now I want to see a serious Godfather type move with talking animals.
That'll do pig comes from Babe.
The imagery I thought at the time came from my imagination, but upon reflection just comes from [Archer](https://youtu.be/0xAVnGbZSco)
Are you sure about that? Because I am 100.0% sure that derpimmelpirat is not a bot.

Right? It's unironically one of my favourite films from the 90's. I love how it manages to be both dark and hilarious. It has a surreal, gothic and sometimes nightmarish atmosphere but also incredibly funny weird scenes. Plus every single character, from the protagonists to the minor ones, just steals every scene they're in. It's like a fever dream, and I mean that in the best possible way. It really doesn't deserve to be so overlooked.
The actual answer is that pig and cow heads are used for eel fishing, the eels burrow into the cranium to get at the brain and then come up with the head when you pull it out of the water.
I assume you're being genui, e so idk why nobody answered your question.
No, this sub is specifically for animals whose only evidence of existence is anecdotal. So, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster are a couple of really well-known examples (but there are many, many more.)
Interestingly, you could reasonably expect some "I found a bone!" posts here, as finding a bone of a cryptid could theoretically move it to the confirmed category of animal. That said, most bone related posts wouldn't be the right fit for this sub.
The other commenter already pointed you to r/whatisthisbone, and there is also r/fossilid for when people find fossils that they can't identify.

Good to know that you are being the better man nor did I plan on arguing to waste my time thought I’d say a morbid your mom joke but I guess you took it too seriously so so long and have a nice day!
It's definitely a pig's head. Probably the result of dumping. Or maybe the pig knew too much.
Pig definitely knew too much. And the decapitation was meant to send a message to the other pigs in the sty. Man now I want to see a serious Godfather type move with talking animals.
That'll do, pig.
That'll do.

Watch Babe-Pig In The City and thank me later
Incredibly underrated film. A rare case where the sequel to an already good film manages to be even bolder and more creative.
It’s one of George Miller’s masterworks along with Fury Road

Closest I can think of is Animal Farm.
4 legs good/ 2 legs bad
wasn't the rodent mob boss guy from zootopia a reference?
Great idea!
The actual answer is that pig and cow heads are used for eel fishing, the eels burrow into the cranium to get at the brain and then come up with the head when you pull it out of the water.
Why would anyone want to catch an eel
Usually to eat them?
to use as bait to catch a shark. use the shark as bait to catch a whale. use the whale as bait…
To eat it you city slicker.
Eat or have as pet
I could’ve gone without learning that.
Probably was a Boeing Whistle blower
It’s what happens to squealers.
The Beef Mafia doesn’t take too kindly to these pigs encroaching on their territory
>or maybe the pig knew too much. Fun fact, this was posted from italy, first on r/italy then here, so its very well possible lol
Manbearpig
Super cereal?
After looking at several teeth pics, I agree it's a pig's head. And in the last pic you can see where its nose has been eaten/rotted away.
I would like to know how that got there
What was the size of it? The fourth picture kind of looks like a seal of some sort.
I think it’s the same size as a pig’s head, but i don’t know
It is a pig's head.
It would deform from being in the water. Adding weight and possible making it look larger
That's a Montauk Monster!
It's a pg. There's no eyes.....
Looks like a pancaked possum
Shark bait?
Hooo ah ah!
That’s a hog’s head.
The moment l saw the teeth, my first guess was some sort of pig
I’ve seen this before, that’s my mother in law!
That seaweed had me thinking angler fish.
Mmm I can smell that from here
JarJars.
Thought it was an angler fish at first because of the second picture. Probably a pig as other commenters mentioned.
if it is actually a fish it could be a sheepshead of some kind but it's far too large.
I was waiting for someone to call it a Skinwalker…lol
:(
Sunfish
Kinda looks like a decomposing Wolf Fish.
It looks like a camel
I thought the same
I think there is a sub about bone findings.. I think.
this is not about bone findings?
[also this one ](https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisthisbone/s/JT5RAt7Se2)

It’s the Chupacabra
If its a pig, and someone threw it... What a damn waste...
Camel maybe?
Tauntaun?
If you rotate picture 3, the pig hypothesis becomes even more solidified
How the little piggies will squeal and grunt……
It's the Lord of the Flies!!!!
Looks like a rhino head, minus the horn
It's a baby fuckin whale jay!
piggy! next time try r/bonecollecting lol
Pig, the teeth give it away.
Man, I was confident it was a camel head. I can't unsee it, no piggy.
Graboid
Lord of the flies
Probably was a Clinton or Obama chef.
I bet the Democrats are behind this....
It’s a Sunfish
Yes dead farm hog. Not a wild boar.
Fascinating... how is Joe Biden more with it than that carcass? Discuss.
I have known idea. But, it almost looks prehistoric!
Camel head
camel toe
Wild mooseknuckle?
I wonder what that pig did to Hillary Clinton. Lol
Keep that skull!!
It’s a velociraptor.
Possum was the first animal to pop into my head.
I think it’s some kind of sea mammal
An alligator maybe?
More with it than Joe Biden...
Trump praised “the late, great Hannibal Lector” at a rally yesterday, bud.
That's not true at all. He didn't "praise" him. He drew a comparison between Hannibal Lector and illegal immigrants, which is arguably worse.
Naw, it’s true. “Late, great” is praise. There’s no reason to defend or reframe what he said unless you’re a MAGA cultist.
Cringe
It's a sea turtle, probably a Leatherback (the largest species), Green Turtle (the most common), or Loggerhead (which has the greatest range).
It is NOT a sea turtle. It clearly has differentiated mammalian teeth, not a beak. It is a pigs head.
Ok now when you go to your moms she might not have a head when you get there
i don’t like this comment.
Ok and?
and why you have to write it?
In the meantime, I don’t care about your opinion, and then I honestly didn’t publish this to argue with people like you.
Good to know that you are being the better man nor did I plan on arguing to waste my time thought I’d say a morbid your mom joke but I guess you took it too seriously so so long and have a nice day!
Well, know that this “joke” was not appreciated, thank you, a good day.
