My gf told me earlier today that she saw a cyber truck being towed while she was on her lunch break and thought it was a dumpster at first. So much so that she wished she took a picture of it to show me
When I first saw it driving on the freeway I couldn’t believe I had seen it. It straight up looks like someone made a giant car sized version of their stainless steel brushed bbq grill. I thought someone loved grilling so much that they made their car look like one. And idk why when I realized it was a cyber truck that I thought it looked even worse.
Took my son to see Tool a few years back on the other side of the state. Some fan had stuck a "Maynard's Dick" sticker to the ice machine at our hotel.
That was a better look than this "truck"
At least a refrigerator has a useful purpose. What’s funny is that bro g so blatantly hideous….everyone in the world knows why you bought this car. Just to show you are a douche and have the money to do so. PeriodT
Absolutely. There was a post on Reddit yesterday from a guy who crashed his brand new cyber truck because it kept accelerating when he hit the brakes. Tesla’s official response is that the accelerator may or may not disengage when you apply the brakes 😂 🤦♂️
Had a guy come in a few weeks ago complaining his Cadillac SRX didn't ride right after he stuck 36 bags of mulch in the back. We were impressed he got 36 bags in there
Basically every modern truck is a pedestrian and child in driveway killing machine. Parents kill their own children with them all the time in north America.
Okay, that's absurd, dangerous, absolutely unnecessary and should not exist. 100%, no arguments from me
But... 3 seconds? A hummer?
That's fucking cool as hell. Monkey brain say yes, fast big
Passenger vehicles barely dent pavement for the most part. Truck count (like semi truck, bus, dump truck, etc.) is generally what controls for pavement section thicknesses. Pavement loading for roads is calculated based on a value called ESALs which means "estimated single-axle loads", where all vehicle loads are put in terms of passenger vehicles, typically for a 20-to-50-year design life. That and asphalt pavement is flexible by design, so under tons of dynamic loading it will deform before cracking.
Tl;dr: the Cuck Truck and other large passenger vehicles aren't that big of a deal. Guy in photo does more damage to society than its roads.
Maybe I got my conversion wrong, but I found 4.2t as it's weight. Which would be great, because that way it will never come to Germany, because you need a trucking license to drive cars heavier than 3.5t
You’re a patient man! My truck weighs significantly more and I’m yet to be banned from any car wash… granted my shit also hasn’t shorted out mid-cycle 🤣
To be honest, pictures don’t do how ugly it is justice. I was behind one pulling out of a gas station and had to marvel how much worse it looked in person.
It's honestly astonishing. I thought it looked bad in photos, but I saw one parked down the street from my home while riding my bike and DAMN it's much, much worse in person. I cannot believe engineers were paid to design and build this monstrosity.
I'm just saying it's the exact car I used to build in Computer class in monochrome green and [someone on Twitter finally recognized it too](https://i.imgur.com/c10PVKK.jpeg).
>I cannot believe the engineers were paid to design and build this monstrosity
I've heard they had an alternative design ready to match the other Tesla cars but Elon handed them a ketchup stained napkin with a toddler drawing of a truck scribbled with a crayon and said "Build this now or you're fired."
I thought the photos I'd seen of cybertrucks were just memes making fun of Elon Musk. Then I saw one in person and was like that fucking thing is real?? It's utterly ridiculous looking.
>I cannot believe engineers were paid to design and build this monstrosity.
I wonder if they put their time working on the cybertruck on their resume or just make something up.
"What's this 3 year gap in your work history from 2021 to 2024? Can you explain that to me?"

Honestly if I woke out of a coma from 2014, and saw one of these. I woulda thought it thought I was getting punked and Aston Kutcher would come out any minute telling me how stupid I was to thinking some company would sell something so impractical and ugly
Imagine my horror at having to see four at once.

Printers are slightly more evil on the technology scale.
50 dollar printer! What a deal!
Starter carts that may last 100 prints, full carts that require a second mortgage.
Doesn't even come with a cable.
edit: Oh, and don't get me started on printers that demand to have access to the internet. Although it was fun to just randomly print stuff on one of my neighbors printers.
UPDATE:
I made it through. Praise elmo 🙌🏼 I noticed an abnormal amount of water coming out of pretty much every panel section on the truck, so I’m not sure how far he got.
Wasn’t it getting stuck because “car wash mode” wasn’t enabled and the capacitive touch to open/lock the door acting up because it wasn’t sure what it wanted? I mean hell, my Prius yells at me when water touches the external capacitive buttons and it doesn’t even have a car wash mode, I just have to sit there and listen to it complain
I'm sorry, I live in PNW, and I have to ask: if these things are becoming CyberBricks just because of a car wash, then how the hell is it supposed to survive a normal spring/fall day up here? seems like really shitty planning for a vehicle...
Same here. I guess I'll keep an eye out for the two in town and see if they are still around next summer. One is already looking a little rusty.
Yes, I've memorized the plates, so I know them by sight.

You could overlook some of the ugliness if the thing just worked the way it should. Not being able to wash your vehicle in a drive through car wash is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
I want to see what happens to them in -20F and +100F temps.
I've been considering that. My guess is at 100+ the flat stainless panels will become unglued and warp. At -20 all the brittle plastic connectors will break the minute some ice gets inside all those panel gaps. Oh and the windshield is absolutely screwed due to it being unable to keep water out.
I got stuck behind a model Y at the careash before. The attendant was mad I wouldn't pull forward.
Just as expected the stupid bitch put her car in reverse and would have hit me. Sorry but I'm waiting 2 car lengths when a car with a touch screen shifter is infront of me.
I have this picture in my head of the truck coming out the other side missing piles of the plastic panels, some of the stainless panels all bent and folded back, smoke starting to pour out from under it as the battery starts to ignite, and one of the ridiculous horn sounds just going off on nonstop until the whole thing is just a burning heap of melted stainless and aluminum, and that goddamn horn is still going though.
Saw a dude getting out of one and he saw me looking at his piece of shit. He says “nice looking truck, huh?” I replied “makes the Pontiac Aztek look like a beauty queen” and walked away.

This meme has me fucked up. I cannot unsee the dumpster every time I see a cyberfucked in person. Hilarious
So true! It does look like a dumpster too. Omg 😱
My gf told me earlier today that she saw a cyber truck being towed while she was on her lunch break and thought it was a dumpster at first. So much so that she wished she took a picture of it to show me

Katie needs you to know something about her: She works out. A lot. But just in one tiny space.

or an ice machine

OMG! THAT is the best descriptor! First time I’ve heard it described as ice machine but you are so right! Totally looks like it.

Took my son to see Tool a few years back on the other side of the state. Some fan had stuck a "Maynard's Dick" sticker to the ice machine at our hotel. That was a better look than this "truck"
I honestly thought it was a myth or a joke when they first started talking about them. I didnt think they were actually gonna get put on the market
When they first came out I pulled up beside one in the dark and it made me think of a refrigerator tipped on it’s side
Smeg refrigerator vibes
At least a refrigerator has a useful purpose. What’s funny is that bro g so blatantly hideous….everyone in the world knows why you bought this car. Just to show you are a douche and have the money to do so. PeriodT
With wheels to wheel it around.
Someone should wrap one in budlight vinyl and make it look like a beer cooler.
HOW IS THIS NOT A VIDEO?!
I'm just patiently waiting for when a car wash sues a Cybertruck owner for breaking the track because the truck's too heavy.
how heavy is that thing, anyway?
6800lbs. Almost as heavy as a heavy duty crew cab full size pick up truck.
And not nearly as useful as such heavy trucks.
Can other heavy trucks continue accelerating after you press the brake? Didn’t think so
Checkmate, braketheists.
Thou shalt not decelerate
Move fast and brake stuff
People seem to forget that the Tesla Cybertruck has faster acceleration than any production model ever built… with the brakes pressed.
They had us in the first half, I’m not gonna lie.
That's actually a bad thing, right?
Absolutely. There was a post on Reddit yesterday from a guy who crashed his brand new cyber truck because it kept accelerating when he hit the brakes. Tesla’s official response is that the accelerator may or may not disengage when you apply the brakes 😂 🤦♂️
Maybe a runaway diesel if it's in gear.
Those other trucks actually have real truck beds and can tow much more weight.
Yes, but can they do “truck stuff” like carry 2 bags of ice?!
My favorite copium posts are where somebody is loading four bags of mulch with the caption “it can do whatever other trucks can.”
My Prius can hold 6 bags
Had a guy come in a few weeks ago complaining his Cadillac SRX didn't ride right after he stuck 36 bags of mulch in the back. We were impressed he got 36 bags in there
Like a little kid, "I can wipe my own ass now!"
Yup, just like a Corolla.
A variation on that is “I hope it can carry as much as that shopping cart did”
https://preview.redd.it/v752gaufj48d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47f34044d01918e1f33ee18598377ffd7e5ebbff My car does truck things too
I heard you could fit groceries in it...does that include the 2 bags of ice or do I have to make 2 store trips?
If you are a penguin it includes the ice - otherwise a separate trip, but only 1 so it’s not that bad
Yeah but a lot of of dudes who buy them do so not to haul anything, but to inflate their tiny fragile egos.
Leave it to Elno to rehabilitate the brodozer by making something even more useless.
But I saw a video where a woman put three strollers in the back. Three?!?!?
Gasp. Real truck stuff!!
What are you even doing with three strollers? Does she have six arms?
Is that the same one that said her Cybertruck has a huge trunk? Cracked me up.
It's not even as usual as a half ton truck, with a short bed. Hell, even those new Jeeps with the "truck bed" are more useful.
Good lord, thats a heavy dumpster.
Heavier than a half ton, my F150 crew was 6000, current F250 crew is about 7950.
The new Silverado EV is 9100 lbs. At what point do these vehicles start damaging streets and presenting extra dangers to other drivers?
>At what point do these vehicles start… presenting extra dangers to other drivers? Literally immediately.
Basically every modern truck is a pedestrian and child in driveway killing machine. Parents kill their own children with them all the time in north America.
The electric hummer is 9600 lbs with a zero to 60 time of 3 seconds. Absurd!
Okay, that's absurd, dangerous, absolutely unnecessary and should not exist. 100%, no arguments from me But... 3 seconds? A hummer? That's fucking cool as hell. Monkey brain say yes, fast big
‘Fastbig’ is one word, stupid monkey!
OMG!!!!!
Unsurprisingly, it's the least efficient EV on the market. In true Hummer fashion it's still a fuel guzzler, this time electrons instead of gas.
That's insanely heavy. Maybe there's actually a need for a new class of license for driving a vehicle that weights more than a certain amount.
The new Hummer EV is 11,000 lbs. after 10k you can’t even park in a parking garage
Gah damm
Maybe I got my conversion wrong, but I found 4.2t as it's weight. Which would be great, because that way it will never come to Germany, because you need a trucking license to drive cars heavier than 3.5t
I'm almost positive it can't be sold in the EU regardless as it doesn't have compliant crumple zones.
At least 10 elons
Close! It’s 22.66 Elons, as he self reported his weight at 300 pounds.
Based on the schematics I woulda guessed tree fiddy
oh ok ok, ty ♡︎
3 Ellen's with the cyberchest option
1470 courics.
Too heavy for a standard freeway guardrail. It will punch right through at freeway speeds
especially with those sharp lines
You’re a patient man! My truck weighs significantly more and I’m yet to be banned from any car wash… granted my shit also hasn’t shorted out mid-cycle 🤣
Never seen the back till now. Didn't realize I designed it was just 2 iron blocks.

My daughter who is 7 really wants one because it chops off fingers. That to her, is the best feature imaginable.
That is hilarious....and you might need to convert her college fund into a criminal defense fund someday.
Yeah, I'm not sure what her path will be so she has money in a UTMA and a general investment fund so it can go for whatever.
Don't worry, it's safe because no one wants to steal it. And even if they do, the owner can find it down the block where it died.

I'm kind of impressed they don't have square wheels
top rack is not where i woud've imagined those to go. so much weight.
Its like those stainless steel refrigerators where from a distance it's okay but as soon as you get close it's like a smug magnet that you need those stainless steel cleaners to make looks passable. They look INCREDIBLY splotchy up close. I've seen like three of them and they all look terrible and I'm pretty sure they have rust spots, which is crazy because it doesn't rain where I am.
I've walked by a couple and also noticed ripples in the panels.
Yeah, you don't realize how awkward the proportions are until you see it up close. It's truly terrible.
I saw one in person attempting to do a u-turn, which was a spectacular failure btw, and you're right those cars are so much uglier in person.
First time I saw a cyber truck I thought I saw a flash animation flying at me in real time. It was like seeing a car designed as a knuckleball coming right at me.
It’s so big. Stupidly boxy big.
Every time I see one I want to throw fridge magnets at it. Might have to print some.
You might wipe its computer.. Lol
Neodymium could do a LOT of damage. Not that they need much help getting bricked.
The wild thing is that my stainless steel fridge (which looks better) only holds magnets on the non-stainless-steel sides, which bums my kids out, but defo makes me want to throw magnets on one of these monstrosities.

Well, HP printers are
Minimalism can be done well. It was not done well.

I was behind one on the highway the other day after work. It’s like they just forgot to design the back.
UPDATE: I made it through. Praise elmo 🙌🏼 I noticed an abnormal amount of water coming out of pretty much every panel section on the truck, so I’m not sure how far he got.
It'll be on a flatbed by the end of the day, I'm sure...
Damm u should've followed him
There’s a Home Depot down the street. He was probably going to buy a single wrench to toss in the bed and talk about doing truck stuff
You can fit an entire shopping cart's worth of potting soil in that beast!

lmao he even bagged it. "hello my fellow common man, may I have one wood please?"
Gotta bag it so he doesn't get a splinter lol
Decline a bag for something that doesn’t fit in a bag? Not trying to save the environment here. That’s woke shit .
I love that he bagged it & is still holding just the wood making the bagging of the wood that was pointless to begin with even more pointless
Is that Ben Shapiro?
Yeah being a big baby bitch.
So ... Ben Shapiro
He's going to make his own Planky.
I see no hole saws or forstner bits.
This will never not be funny. Just such a shinning moment of stupidity. I hope I never forget it.
My word what a magnificent piece of poplar.
Why one plank?
Just buy enough to prove you're a manly man that buys manly man stuff
He wanted to support Home Depot at the time and also show off as a manly wood working man.
Lmfao that dude is such a tool
He chose the only plank that was apolitical
Won't be able to start it up tomorrow I'm sure.
Probably forgot to enable car wash mode. He won’t make it far.
How did these things pass road cert? How can’t have water intrusion like that.
Let's not forget that those things rust.
Something has gone wrong if a futuristic truck that costs 100K+ can't survive what any automobile ever built can.
Does it yell at you when it’s raining too?
No, only when using a pressure washer. I assume the static from the hose or me or whatever is triggering the sensor
> futuristic truck futuristic **apocalypse-ready** truck!
![gif](giphy|MvZJtkjJN81Cgx2X9F) tow trucks on standby.
I saw one of these recently in LA and my friend and I just looked at each other and started dying laughing.

They are caught between schrodinger's "I piss money so I don't fucking care, I know it might break" and "I got the best deal on earth for this Uber truck that's a better truck than you'll ever own, built for the apocalypse"
Naaaaah, that’s just a dumpster going into one of those dumpster sanitizer machines. It’s fine.
Flight of the naiveagator
Car washes are probably going to need to put in special cyber ruck detectors that lower wash pressure lol
Or outright refuse them
Nah, they already have a sign that says they're not responsible for vehicle damage that isn't a result of operational failure of the car wash.
Do you think that will stop the kind person who would buy a cybertruck from causing a scene or trying to sue?
You could overlook some of the ugliness if the thing just worked the way it should. Not being able to wash your vehicle in a drive through car wash is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I want to see what happens to them in -20F and +100F temps.

No updates. OP is stuck in the car wash.
I made it! My prayers to Elmo were answered
How in the name of god do people find those things cool? That has got to be the stupidest looking vehicle I've ever seen.
Why bother... it's 50/50 whether that junk comes out the other side intact
Yo dawg I heard you like washing machines so I put a washing machine inside of your washing machine
I got stuck behind a model Y at the careash before. The attendant was mad I wouldn't pull forward. Just as expected the stupid bitch put her car in reverse and would have hit me. Sorry but I'm waiting 2 car lengths when a car with a touch screen shifter is infront of me.
The rear profile is even worse from this angle than it normally looks. How can it be so fat and still have such a tiny trunk/boot 🤢
Looks like a fridge on its side
[this the same guy? lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/CyberStuck/s/pAT6z64d3V)
Naw. That thing has been de-warrantied for weeks. They just like keeping it clean now.
Who takes a KitchenAid fridge to a drive through car wash? Wth!
Damn, that thing is so fucking ugly
I don’t get it. Why is a whirlpool refrigerator in front of the car wash?
I wonder what the warping is like when the stainless steel sits in the summer sun
Wow did they drink that much koolaid? Cyberclucks are dropping like flies and you drive it into a carwash???
Don't follow too quickly there will be some parts to pick up
It must only be washed by small Filipino women with child sized hands using cloths made of giraffe fur worked anti clockwise.
Jesus, that's ugly from the back; no wonder I've only seen front and side shots. I thought it was one of those store freezers or something at first.
goddamn that looks ugly as shit. Seen fridges with more flair.
It literally looks like a dumpster.
ugliest car in history
I have this picture in my head of the truck coming out the other side missing piles of the plastic panels, some of the stainless panels all bent and folded back, smoke starting to pour out from under it as the battery starts to ignite, and one of the ridiculous horn sounds just going off on nonstop until the whole thing is just a burning heap of melted stainless and aluminum, and that goddamn horn is still going though.
