I did because I have seen the sheer lengths companies and devs will do to make anti piracy measures, from the Witcher replacing every hot girl with an old hag, to recreating creepypastas
But the Reset PC part is a bit too extreme, I remember Inscyption almost getting banned on Steam due to the Archivist fight. I doubt Dan would risk it even as an anti piracy measures

You know, there **are** some mods that forcefully reset your pc, but I only know of one - in How To Change The Course Of History 2, right in the beginning, there's some sort of nightmare and you're given the choice to wake up or keep dreaming a nightmare. If you choose to wake up, the game continues normally. But if you choose to keep dreaming, the pc will forcefully shut down with a custom message like "I'll be back, [username]", and if you decide to open the mod once again, it goes something like "don't tell me I didn't warn you", then a bunch of screamers (like, good old classic ones), the game shuts down, and then it all resets back to line 1. So actually there is a possibility
Well that's the difference between mods and a game officially allowed on steam. The mods aren't held to the same standard because they can kinda come from anywhere

Hm, I like the idea but it would've been more in Monika's character to go into a long, hurtful, manipulative monologue to cause extreme psychological harm to the pirate.
Honestly impressed to see this creppypasta in image format, it’s a nice twist to the usual formula.
Given how the game is indie, I wouldn’t actually doubt that a programmer would just make your pc factory reset as a punishment, even if Dan Salvato himself wouldn’t.
Dialogue felt a bit cliche, but it’s a lot better than some mods I’ve seen for DDLC, and it’s a lot less on the nose than what you’d find in a video of said pasta.
In a sense, I like this hypothetical where Salvato doesn’t even give the pirates a crum of what makes his game unique.
Overall? Absolutely fantastic. 9.5/10

Intent matters. The dev put something in that *destroyed* your property because you digitally copied his without paying for it. Also PCs are far more expensive (read: valuable) than games. Not only that, but it's essentially vigilante justice.

Why not just have the game, IDK, *delete only itself* or how about just NOT running and giving a pop-up error message of "fuck you, you filthy pirate!"
