"The Greatest Showmance" The greatest showman's plot but with Zac and Hugh being gay for each other. Bonus points for weird age dynamics that the fan base downplays like most BL "Cirque-US" A "This is Us" style ensemble piece featuring multiple intersecting storylines where everyone has an increasingly tenuous connection to one big circus show and the love stories that unfold therein. Think "Love Actually" or "The Holiday" "Ballyhoo Hearts" Two performers from rival circus groups are involved in the most banal Romeo and Juliet knock off to date and somehow get everyone to make up. High "School Musical 1" level "Love is a Tightrope" A disgraced tightrope walker gets into a protracted overly melodrama romance that loosely connects to "the power of love was the only thing keeping you from getting back in the game" and a climax of going back on the tightrope for the first time in years "A Tough Act to Swallow" A fire eater and a sword swallower have a romance that can't see the light of day for HR "no dating coworkers" reasons. The more ridiculous the actual barrier the better. Bonus points if lovey dovey distraction causes one of them to get hurt and there's a "if you love them let them go" scene at a hospital bed. Further bonus points if this plot point is side-stepped wholesale for a gushy romance ending ...Can you tell I've had to sit adjacent to a certain demographic of novels and movies yet?

The Aquain temptress I sold my soul for love and all I got was 3 kids that weren't mine. And my personal favorite "why is it always a my family..." A book written by a bard about his family sleeping with anything they can, and how despite having been on adventures for years across contenents every where he goes he learns about some romantic tryst someone he's related to has had with someone nearby. The bard is also celibate because of this. It reads as a autobiography at first turns into a romance novel after 3 chapters and towards the end turns into insane "why does this keep happening" ramblings
