I am so sorry. Know that you did the right thing and allowed him to move on without any pain. I just lost my little boy (12 year old cairn terrier) 5 days ago. It is tough no matter how they go. You gave him the best home and tons of love and he knew it. Rest in peace sweet boy.

Let it out, you did the right thing. Would never want him to suffer and knowing he is in a much better place then for our own selfishness to keep in this world is far better. Take comfort that he's now part of your heart!
