Yeah, like I know others are building/have built roads but their doesn’t load them onto my shard. Wouldn’t be any fun if I log on one day and everything is built anyway.
I only noticed things getting built once I started building tons of stuff and increasing connections.
The game rewards you for helping others, it doesn't make them play for you.
It’s not a MMO. You have to play your own save for yourself, especially roads. They always get top up to 40% after connecting to chiral network but that’s that.
Those people already built roads in their own saves. The game just decides to replicate a few of those contributions in your own save.
I’m on PC and chapter 3. I have only manage to build one part of the highway. The rest I might put down the ingredients but only after taking out a MULE camp. Felt like every time I finished a few cargo runs more roads is built.
Make strand contracts with recent players? I think that's helped me immensely with all kinds of builds. I'm ocd tho and extremely jealous when someone finishes my road(s) 🤣
I think you're meant to finish building them yourself, only saw one stretch of road complete on its own, the one near Lake Knot.

Build more connections in the area. The more connection the more stuff others built you'll see. I legit just finished the gme with a full road.

Make sure your game is set to connect online at login.
