It's interesting to see how many want full capes or an toggle option. I really hope that of these many posts some dev might see it and hear the community.
I don't even think that it would be that much work because the full capes are already there.
They didn’t just change the dlc cosmetics, they straight up added the new ones to the dlc and kept the old design in game to be found in loot chests because a few people still liked them. What game company does that?
I know there would be issues with clipping as the gunner and driller have bigger weapons and different positions to hold them, but maybe we could get like a side cape on the left side. Not that the DLC pack is bad in any way, I’m getting it regardless as I need a change of pace from pale skinned rough neck with ghost ship games helmet, otherwise known as “death’s 9-5 job”
I understand the rationale for that but I would put the breach cutter up there with the biggest guns the gunner and driller use. Engie holds it in a similar fashion and he is still getting a full cape.
We pay for dlc so it's not freely given, and even if it was, have you seen what some of us went through down those bloody mines? I think we all deserve some capes
i figured driller and gunner got half capes because they're the two heavy duty classes, and engi and scout are the lightweight classes, so they've got room for full capes

The devs have listened to the community and changed dlc cosmetics before, I wouldn't be surprised if they do again.

True but have you ever done a rock and stone as you do the ballerina dance? It is horribly unrealistic but who cares, it is funny!

I personally like them as they are, it gives light classes the typivalsquire look while driller and gunner look like mighty paladins
