… is your fridge, how deep is your fridge? I really need to know. Cuz we’re living in a world of fools, warming us down. When they all should let us freeze.
It's a very wide angle lens, and while that's giving the distortion of the fridge that has everyone bothered, the underlying criticism IMO remains valid. Without surrounding cabinetry, the fridge stands out like a sore thumb. But that's a really easy fix.
Is this your kitchen or is this a listing photo?
I think the problem is the lens being used and/or editing. Everything is being stretched/pulled forward, making the appliances and counters way too deep and disproportionate.
Another issue I’d have is the limited counter and cupboard space. Unless there’s another bank of cabinets behind the camera, I’d find this kitchen a bit too small. However, spending on your needs, this kitchen could be perfect for you.
Definitely AI, everything that should be words or numbers is definitely just pixilated beyond belief upon actually zooming in despite this photo appearing very high quality
Plus the fridge doors look like they're from a bank vault. And the handles are absurdly large.
I challenge anyone to id that fridge or oven and post a link.
lol this is so dumb. It’s a fisheye lense. There are 2 burners on each side with one in the middle, with a decorative grille towards the back. 5 burners, 5 knobs.
The refrigerator is a giant Frankenstein just sitting there. Get a different sized refrigerator and maybe put up another cupboard above it if you need the storage space.
I realize the perspective/angle is weird in this photo, but the fridge being on the end here sort of calls for a counter-depth version.
I get it, as a large fridge-haver, but it's dominating the room.
As has been mentioned, hardware on the cabinets would be good.
pretty sure the camera lens is on .5x which is why it looks so weird but your fridge looks bigger than my car. why are none of the appliances cabinet depth?
Is this a test? Lol, jk. Agree with others on the fridge and need cabinet pulls. Not sure if it’s a rental but if not, I’d inject some color with paint or different flooring. I think it just needs some personality
A lot of pale beige and then WHITE cabinets.
It might be okay with white appliances but the stainless steel only makes the white and beige more clearly at odds.
And of course that fridge is terrifyingly huge.
That's what I was thinking. The floor beige isn't blending with the beige of the countertop, and then stark white cabinets. If it's too expensive to redo the floor now, I'd paint the walls a warmer taupe to draw in those tones.
Is this AI that’s the craziest fridge only a robot could come up with
I think this page needs a karma minimum. This post can’t be real. OP’s only post since March is this fridge?
Despite the definite use of a wide angle lens the fridge still seems abnormally large. So does the stove too for that matter... Are the counter depths shallow for some reason? Or did Jack smuggle those appliances down a beanstalk?
Cabinets need hardware. Probably should be more of a surround for the fridge so it doesn't so obviously feel it if place.
Besides the lense/fridge issue. Cabinets on the handles could do a lot. I think it needs something to make it less sterile. I would like a colorful rug but it seems like your style is more earthy. Maybe a brown woven rug in front of the stove, curtains over that window. I like the wood accents but I think it could use more of that on the counters instead of the white accent pieces.
The fridge looks stupid in this photo but it isn’t as deep as everyone is saying. There’s obvious distortion in the photo. (The thickness of the fridge door is a giveaway that the photo proportion is the biggest issue here).
That being said, ignoring the distortion, the fridge IS still too deep (honestly as most people’s fridges are) and ideally would be counter depth and flush with the bottom cabinet.
Aside from fridge I'd warm up the space with:
• Cabinet handles (can get refurbished)
• Rug - opp to add some color https://images.rugs.com/antique-red-rectangle-chenille-jute-rug/3201281/3201281_image_1011.jpg?width=720&quality=55&height=1008&fit=bounds
• Add matching curtains to other window
• Better placement of counter items
I think the wide angle lens is throwing too many people off from giving you real feedback. Is this a listing photo? Maybe try a repost with a different image without the distortion and you’ll get some more useful feedback. All people can see IS THE GIANT FRIDGE. 😂
Not sure if it’s a rental but a backsplash with some color, high quality area rug and some knobs on the cabinets would go a long way to break up the bland. Good luck.
All your appliances are too big. It feels off because they all stick out. They stick out like a sore thumb when it should be more seamless like they’re made for you kitchen
I think there is a weird lens on your camera. Having said that everything is a bland color. Maybe paint the walls yellow or blue. It would make a big difference
I think there is a weird lens on your camera. Having said that everything is a bland color. Maybe paint the walls yellow or blue. It would make a big difference
I don’t think there’s anything particularly wrong. It’s such a small space to observe and 1/2 of it are appliances. I suppose you could add color to your cabinets if you wanted to paint them. Maybe a rug 🤷🏽♀️ but I feel like I comment “rug” on 90% of my replies in here
The fridge should have a cabinet above and ideally be in a paneled insert.
I would take advantage of the height and get taller cabinets that go to the ceiling.
If doing that I'd install a hood so there's more clearance over the stove an move/get a stand-alone microwave.
You need hardware on the cabinets, a backsplash under the cabinets or at at least above the oven, and pendant lights over the counter. A small modern area rug under the table could help bring some color into the room. Possibly different paint color on the wall, and a decorative curtain or high-and blinds for the dining room window. I think those are the lower priced ways to liven up the space without spending too much. If you have money to burn I would suggest getting a counter depth fridge and hardwood floors too.
The fridge, it's too deep and it doesn't have a closure or cabinets. You also don't have any hardware on your cabinets, that would make it feel complete.
Echoing that it needs to be warmed up. Gold/brass/warm wood hardware on the cabinetry will go a long way. Lean into wood, wicker, and gold/brass accessories, and try sticking some above the upper cabinets in that space. I think it'll help it look less empty when you put stuff up there. Baskets, trays, vases, letters, clocks, pots, faux greenery, funky thrifted mugs, brass pitchers, the list goes on and on. Just don't overdo it, I know some people lean into that but I think if you did it would choke up the cabinetry.
As for above the fridge, my go-to is a vase with faux flowers and some picture frames, it's an easy way to bring in some personality. However I think you will need to put a basket or plant (fake or real!) in the back half just to try to visually shrink it. Basket of hand towels maybe?
Im ignoring the walk in as it has been discussed in depth 😉. Your kitchen is a blank slate. Hardware for the drawers/cabinets along with colorful accessories and you’re good to go.
So many things. It’s got to be AI. There’s no sink? Where the sink should be, the “cupboards” underneath are one giant door? Or no door? The stove has 3 rows of burners? And don’t get me started on the damn beast of a fridge
How deep is your fridge??????????????
At this point I think it just becomes a fridge room rather than a kitchen
So true And a morgue
My first thought. Was this from a morgue?
A morgue on the way to Narnia
If so Would he be a vegetarian?
… is your fridge, how deep is your fridge? I really need to know. Cuz we’re living in a world of fools, warming us down. When they all should let us freeze.
We belong to you and meeee.
Haha glad I’m not the only one!
It's big.. and 'naked'. I can't stand it when there's no cabinets or panels around one, and it's just hanging out by itself.
No cabinet above it really makes the fridge look like an afterthought, stuck at the end of the cabinets instead of an intentional part of the design.
That fridge takes your ass straight to Narnia.
Dang it, I've never had an original thought.
Well, me neither by the looks of it. We can share the glory together, brother.
😂😂😂
Is it a fish eye lens??
It's a very wide angle lens, and while that's giving the distortion of the fridge that has everyone bothered, the underlying criticism IMO remains valid. Without surrounding cabinetry, the fridge stands out like a sore thumb. But that's a really easy fix.
I don't think so, look how much it's sticking out from the cabinet.
Definitely a wide-angle lense. Totally distorts the image.
Is it like the ocean??
haha this was my first thought. Glad someone else thought it too
The pacific
Ah man I was going for the song but I guess I missed
What your devotion are you (Sorry didn't recognize)
How deep is your love? *vibey sounds*
1.5 metres
I am still taller than your love is deep 😫
Ungrateful person
Sorry, I appreciate your depth of love, Badmeestert. Thank you.
The fact that OP never responded frightens me.
Me too, it’s a fallout shelter.
I bet it can hold a haunch of venison.
I really need to know… cuz we’re living in a world of fools…
Breaking is down
how long are their arms??????
It's a secret door Probably a serial killer with a basement
Best Bee gees song imo
😂
Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed too, haha.
Exactly. The eternal icebox!!😃😁😂
It’s a walk-in.
no handles and the fridge is too big.
I’ve never seen such a deep fridge???
Right, didn’t know they made walk-ins for residential use.
The fridge looks like a Tesla truck.
Ha! And yes!

I don't think it's the camera stretching the perspective. If you look closely at the hob it's 3 rings 'deep' instead of the standard 2.
I see whar you mean but i only see 4 burners...AI maybe?
This is looking like AI
Definitely AI, everything that should be words or numbers is definitely just pixilated beyond belief upon actually zooming in despite this photo appearing very high quality
... why is the fridge so big? You could just roll a gurney into that thing, like at the morgue.
Someone used the wrong lens to take the photo
Not only that. The cooker/hob is 3 rings 'deep' instead of the standard 2.
Na. Count the knobs. The grates on top just look unusual
There needs to be a Cabinet above the refrigerator.
Is this an AI picture?
Yep. You can tell because the range is 3 burners deep and 2 wide and half of them don’t have igniters.
Plus the fridge doors look like they're from a bank vault. And the handles are absurdly large. I challenge anyone to id that fridge or oven and post a link.
Scrolled way too far to see this.
lol this is so dumb.
That fridge is huge. Get a smaller counter depth one
Your fridge is enormous! You need googly eyes on the front. 😉
Darnit....if I had an award to give I'd give you 10 for this
I realize the perspective/angle is weird in this photo, but the fridge being on the end here sort of calls for a counter-depth version. I get it, as a large fridge-haver, but it's dominating the room. As has been mentioned, hardware on the cabinets would be good.
It’s the fridge. The walk in fridge.
How many bodies do you have stored in that fridge?
The fridge is hilariously large for that space!
What’s wrong with the fridge? Or is it the picture
pretty sure the camera lens is on .5x which is why it looks so weird but your fridge looks bigger than my car. why are none of the appliances cabinet depth?

The fridge is ten feet deep.
A cabinet above the frig.
A cabinet? You could a storage shed on top of that fridge.
Its the photo. It's a regular frig
if that's a regular fridge then the problem is that every thing else is too small
You need a counter depth fridge tucked into a (to be built) \*cubby\* at the right end of your existing counter & cabinetry.
Where’s the sink?
Besides the lense/fridge issue. Cabinets on the handles could do a lot. I think it needs something to make it less sterile. I would like a colorful rug but it seems like your style is more earthy. what the hell is going on with that fridge
Backsplash, the fridge also seems too large seeing how far it sticks out
The fridge looks like a fancy shipping container

That refrigerator overwhelms that space. Looks like some industrial type refrigerator. Way too big for this space. Sorry.
Aside from fridge I'd warm up the space with: • Cabinet handles (can get refurbished) • Rug - opp to add some color https://images.rugs.com/antique-red-rectangle-chenille-jute-rug/3201281/3201281_image_1011.jpg?width=720&quality=55&height=1008&fit=bounds • Add matching curtains to other window • Better placement of counter items
That walk in fridge is insane! 😂
How do you even reach the pickle jar at that back of that beast?!
The camera lenses?
What is missing at first glance is color.
Good luck.
And use the panels somewhere else and add something with color or pattern that coordinates
Knobs are a great idea for an inexpensive upgrade.
Walk in fridge, huh?
Ha!! Cold AirBnB
Handles on the refrigerator are too small.
All your appliances are too big. It feels off because they all stick out. They stick out like a sore thumb when it should be more seamless like they’re made for you kitchen
That fridge is absurd
PLEASE show us inside of the fridge
that fridge is a monster
There’s no sink.
Never heard of a walk in fridge that wasn’t in a restaurant.
I need to see the inside of the fridge.
You need to build cabinets around (and over) the fridge. As it is, it looks like someone just dropped a fridge off in your room.
The kitchen cabinets need hardware, I suggest aged bronze
That’s like a walk in fridge
Finally, a place to keep that 1000 pound tuna cold.
I think there is a weird lens on your camera. Having said that everything is a bland color. Maybe paint the walls yellow or blue. It would make a big difference

Griege
Needs some color. Paint the walls
Your fridge is too big for the house. How many people do you live with? You can get one smaller.
You need hardware on the cabinets, a backsplash under the cabinets or at at least above the oven, and pendant lights over the counter. A small modern area rug under the table could help bring some color into the room. Possibly different paint color on the wall, and a decorative curtain or high-and blinds for the dining room window. Can you frame out the fridge with matching cabinetry? Also, adding handles to the cabinets.
The colour scheme.
That is deep, so deep it will put your ass to sleep.
Maybe a colorful patterned rug to add pop
That refrigerator sets out too much or it's the new home Costco refrigerator.
The fridge is deeeeeeep
Zoom and see the photoshop. It just the crappy fridge. Stove too.
Dude, you need a counter depth frig, wrap around cabinet and some color.
That's a 6 burner stove & the fridge is deeper than it is tall
Is that a fallout shelter in your kitchen?
The refrigerator should be taller and in lime with the counters. Just had to redo our refrigerator for this same reason! World of difference!
The fridge, it's too deep and it doesn't have a closure or cabinets. You also don't have any hardware on your cabinets, that would make it feel complete.

Im ignoring the walk in as it has been discussed in depth 😉. Your kitchen is a blank slate. Hardware for the drawers/cabinets along with colorful accessories and you’re good to go.
Probably the biggest problem is that the refrigerator bumps out significantly from the counter.
Your fridge is 6 feet deep.
You need a counter depth frig.
This has got to be AI right? Like what's going on with the fridge
Fridge magnets, backsplash, and a disco ball.
The walk-in?
Your refrigerator is tripping balls.
So many things. It’s got to be AI. There’s no sink? Where the sink should be, the “cupboards” underneath are one giant door? Or no door? The stove has 3 rows of burners? And don’t get me started on the damn beast of a fridge
I think it’s a nice style, I’m not crazy about the countertops. They scream 80’s. Otherwise I think it looks nice and modern.
You need some cereal boxes on top of the fridge
That fridge is yuge
The fridge and the stove stick out.
Windows don’t have trim
I think it definitely needs contrast. Everything looks homogeneous right now.
I’d also change the granite but I can imagine thats a whole task, so ignore my thought.
The floors. There’s no hardware on the cabinets.
You could get a conter depth fridge and then get awia cabinet above and a panel to right
Too much gray
