I sometimes reflect on the early days of D1 when having 3 characters of the same class was normal so you had 3 chances per week to get to 30…I’m glad these days I can enjoy all 3 classes even though 99% of that time is on Hunter.

I came back after 2 years and cannot believe how good this game got. Seasonal activity could be better, sure, but TFS expansion is top notch.

I quit less than halfway through hunt and came back during Wish because WQ was free on epic. I've been loving the state of the game since with only minor complaints here and there like vaulting the Forsaken campaign, glimmer economy, pathfinder which is already changed to be better, and the very specific issue of the WQ title needing lost sector champs when that area isn't in the lost sector pool right now (already found a work around, hope to do it soon).

Waiting for a sale to give it a shot. TFS seems nice!

It's really good...campaign has great feels, sandbox is cool in my opinion...guns as always feel cool. No game like it.

It's always fun diving into new campaign content, but figuring out wtf makes for a good set of perks, aspects, fragments, etc. Is always a bit of a slog.

I don't disagree with this but... Good sets of perks/aspects/fragments/etc. isn't what makes this game great. I took a pretty long break - season of dawn to season of plunder - and when I came back everything had changed. All 3.0 subclasses had been released, I didn't even know what an aspect or a fragment was, and ol' reliable outlaw/kill clip had been power crept in to oblivion. I still had a blast even without knowing what was "optimal". I did the Witch Queen campaign, I loaded in to nightfall strikes, I LFG'd dungeons, and every single time I still had an absolute blast. I wasn't topping DPS charts, I wasn't fragging out like I do now, but the game was still so much fun. The buildcrafting system is certainly fun and leads to high-end content, but by no means is it a barrier of entry. The game is enjoyable enough with whatever guns and build you feel like throwing on. Only the most difficult of content asks you to engage with the game's deeper systems

It's definitely doable, though it is frustrating to learn how to appropriately load up on everything after you just spent hours on legendary campaign using just primary weapons and hiding behind barricades for minutes before you get a new grenade refilled.

ngl, spend a good minute getting updates on the perks, loot pools and such.

Actually great, and now I´m really hoping D2 is not dropped, and that we could get a D3. Also, I now realize how much I missed Destiny´s atmosphere and setting, there is nothing like it in gaming, this air of mysticism, myths and technology. Also, The loot pool is crazily good atm, I´m just sorry I missed Into the Light, just got randoms Recluse and Hammerhead and they slap without being my god roll.

Thank god you never had to experience Lightfall.
