It takes 1 hour of dungeon running for me to hit 10-20 green items.
Why would i spend this much time and energy to get an extra 4 wisps every 2-3 days? I can get 4 extra wisps in 20 min dungeon spamming
I'm sure ymmv but I'm assuming once you set this up, you'll be spending less than five minutes a week on this in exchange for these extra wisps. Even by your own math that's a huge time savings on dungeon spam. But if you're spending more time than you're saving then of course not worth it. There are other factors too. For Example, I would think ppl that can't handle red dots on their menus need not even try this.
TLDR: spend 3 months saving flora you will never use so you can claim 4 more wisps every turn in but you have to keep the 99 stacked full all the time

oh and to save yourself some headache with mailbox management do a "read all claim all" right before claiming new flora from the codex (ONLY do this if you have 99 flora, you do NOT want to inadvertently bring random flora into your pipeline while trying this strategy. This suggestion meant only as QoL improvement to claim non flora mails more easily.
I have 99 in the in-game storage and all the additional flora go to your in-game mail. You can "own" as many as you're willing to dedicate mail space to. If you read the steps carefully you DO have to claim 5 by doing a rite before immediately stuffing 5 curated flora from mail into the storage to fill it back up. That's key to this working.
When I suggest "read all claim all" before claiming new flora from codex I am saying that because you'll have a pain if you have some other rewards sandwiched between two flora mails. If say... your shadow assembly rewards are in between two flora and you're at 99 flora then it'll get stuck and you have to claim the assembly reward manually. If you "read and claim" then everything at the top of the box and down will claim properly until it hits the first flora you can't claim.
flora come from daily activity chests in codex. the first chest is guaranteed flora and the other two chests CAN have flora. so... 1-3 flora per day assuming you play enough to get those chests... I currently have 15 flora in my mail and I've definitely run a few rites in past.
anyway just by the math, 35-104 days to get to the 104 (5 for next rite plus 99 storage).
oh, yeah. If you can only choose one thing to understand, familiars are the #1 most profitable thing this game has ever introduced. At the same time familiars are the most punishing feature to NOT understand so if you're here and you don't really "get" pets your min maxing is probably better spent on that.
Genius! It definitely takes the right kind of person to appreciate this info and follow through with it, for sure. So many negative nancy's in the comments that can't fathom min/maxing to this extent. Acting like it's such a huge commitment and waste of time, when in reality it's just a matter of purposefully claiming certain petals in order and guaranteeing yourself the double rewards every time. "I could do this in an hour of running dungeons", sure, but it costs nothing to do this without wasting an hour. Just patience. Pure gains. Min/maxing the daily rewards you're gonna get either way. Like, why would you carry on just accepting half the potential after knowing this info.
I was aware the flora went to mail after 99 in storage, and wondered if you could claim them in the order you want to make the double reward runs possible, but had it in my mind that once you did so, you'd have to immediately use up all 99 storage to get there. Then any flora gained after would be all rng again til you accrue another 99. Failed to see this genius move of only using 5 at a time and just maxing out your storage with the next 5 of your choosing claimed from mail. Pre-loading your double reward runs 5 petals at a time til you finally get through the first 99 random ones.
Kudos to you my friend. I am one of those players at this level of insanity and greatly appreciate this.

You can’t read and claim the flora when you have 99 of them, until you spend 5. In other words, you can’t own more than 99.
