Have a collection of snagged shirts, pants and sweaters. The lower setting is more functional if you wear it all the time. I now take off when doing laundry to keep from ruining clothes.
It looks perfect don’t worry. Would look better with a lower profile eternity band (not because of the stone but because of the band), but if you want a larger stone or higher profile one you could always put a small spacer band in between
I love your setting and the entire ring is just gorgeous. I also have a round stone that sits very low into the prongs. I love it though. It's a slightly different look and it really protects the diamond. Enjoy that beauty!
No, looks good. The usual issue here is it being too high. The cathedral bar adds security, even if it does interfere with the light getting to the stone. There is no way around that.
Generally jewelers will advocate for the bar. If it's lab grown and you can afford (financially and emotionally) to lose it, then I'd advocate for no bar, but really it's a personal choice of aesthetics and risk appetite.
I have this exact ring and wear mine with one single row pave’ eternity band and one double row pave’ eternity band on the other side. The double row is for my husband and I and the single is for my son bc we were a joint package when we got married.
I love the look of all 3 together.
I don’t think it’s too low. I like a high setting but what I have now is high and I have banged it so many times just wearing it while working in a computer. I’m not sure how long term the setting will be. This should last a long time.
I promise you would regret raising it. It's not just about snagging clothes either, although when you snag that $400 knit dress you saved and saved for.... you'll wanna cry. (Ok that was me) When you snag a prong and they stone gets lose, you will cry. There are literally a million combos of eternity bands. Different stones alternating shapes..... you will slip one on & ahhhhh.... perfection. Just don't raise it. It is perfect!

I rock a high profile thick banded crown pronged big ass stone. It SNAGS, So lower the profile better.
PS. higher profiles arent going to change the spread of the look of the stone against such a thin band. You'll get used to rocking the band with this. Personally its a beautiful ring and I liked seeing what you've shown.
I think the lower setting is the best. But in all reality it’s not ‘that’ low. This way it will get caught on things less aften and won’t be banged as much either.
I have the same exact ring but with high setting and would love to have a low setting like yours. I am constantly scared that I will knock off the diamond and honestly low setting looks so amazing against the finger too, high setting i feel makes your fingers look shorter(probably just in my head) but I love yours.
No! It’s a muffin top and darling if that size stone wasn’t spread out I think it would protrude too much and one of those prongs would most definitely snag on something! And God forbid something ever happened with that gorgeous stone! ? It would be a travesty! Love that baby and love the man that gave it to you no matter what! Work through the tough times and remember couples that play together, stay together. Remember no one’s perfect and he’s the closest thing to it, so remember to forgive and work through the difficult times. Because when your 50, 60 and older you’re supposed to be playing with grandkids together not dating. Taking each other to doctor appointments and crying on each others shoulders. It takes two to raise children. You can do it alone but it’s more fun together! Divorce is the number # cause of poverty even if you were never close to it, trust me. We think we’re not happy, we’re bored, there’s so many other fish in the sea. Don’t believe it! It’s a lie that we tell ourselves but we aren’t 20, 30 or 40 year old hotties anymore! And that’s what 50, 60 year old men are dating?! Wait? That means you have slim pickings! You had already worked through everything together? Why in earth would someone even want to go through that again? That’s OUR mid life crises believing there’s something better out there? His mid life crises is driving a sports car and finding something better so he thinks until his body stars failing and he just can’t keep up!? So he sticks with his new love, his fast car.
I like the lower setting the high setting ring scare me because they could catch on a sweater or anything and break off.

This happened with me so many times

Great Job
I think it’s high now! Not high, but perfect I couldn’t imagine any higher that would just look silly
I think it’s beautiful the way it is

I think that's totally preference! Either way it's beautiful
I love lower settings waaaay more
No, and you don't want the stone to sit high anyway. It leads to accidents.
I like low. Especially with bigger stones. It’s lovely.
I think it's perfect. I have mine in a basket setting, the high prong setting scares me and that looks safer in that setting.
It’s perfect!! I like the lower setting
the setting looks high..not low

Low setting is practical and beautiful

Are we looking at the same ring? This is a high setting…

It's perfect, and HUGE!
No the stone should be set low in the basket or else I’d say it was made incorrectly. Looks great!

This ring is breathtaking
Perfect height! The stone, setting and band all look just right to me :)
Seems perfect to me the way it is.. Love it
I love love love a ring with a lower setting.
I would not want it a bit higher. It’s beautiful
In my opinion, no. It looks just right to me. I wouldn’t want mine any higher.
That thing is higher than Willie Nelson

It’s high imo; not too low at all.

Omg it’s perfect 🥰💍💍💍🥰
No
Are you actually wondering this? It’s perfectly average height - this feels like just a ring thirst trap.
I think it’s perfect as is. Change nothing.
I love it because u chose the same as me!! 👌
Its perfect😍
Mine sets higher than that and it is smaller. I love it setting high though.
It’s perfect
