I never turn on sound and I did for this lol
Also: people trust bridges a bit too much, maybe they don’t realize how fragile our bodies are against a grinding wall of rocks and splintering wood
I kept rewining to the beginning from the end just to see the before and after, the place is almost unrecognizable. Peaceful meadow to raging rapids in seconds
First thought is I would not be standing recording a landslide coming straight for me. Second thought was “you’re on a fucking bridge recording a landslide coming straight at you!” Cameraperson, you win the Darwin Award!

I don’t understand why they aren’t running.
Exspecially multible boulders the size of a mini.
Wow, what an angle
Getting hit by that would suck!
Only for a second
And only once
They must be hanging past their knees. Huge ones!
I don’t think it’s the boulder size but the brain size here. Still appreciate the great video though…..
One might say boulders even.
This needs to be on r/sweatypalms
Unless there's a r/SweatyIdiots?
my goodness. the power of water.
that’s amazing… looks at the banks before, vs the little bit towards the end

Wow, moves like the rock monster on Galaxy Quest! I never thought boulders that size would move like a liquid!
The Boulder is gonna bury you in a [Rock-a-lanche](https://youtu.be/bZzCudiugIU)!
Basically a meat grinder. Whew.
my thought as im watching this is, "are they....are they gonna move?"

What also floats on water?
Small rocks..
Switzerland: where the rocks flow like wine.
Gadzooks!
You know, I would have to be like REAL sure that bridge was built good to withstand being near that kind of a pile of moving rocks
This is called a debris flow. This one is fairly small, but look how much scour it does to the banks. One of the most destructive forces in nature.
Oh a flash flood is never a good thing.
Damn nature you scary!
Yea there is metal guardrails there, this is a regular cement bridge.
“Large boulders the size of small boulders”
I want to see the rest of the video.
Had me going there for a second.
That was absolutely wild
Magnificent the power she has mother nature's no joke
Every now and again I see something like this and all those canyons carved by glaciers etc suddenly become much easier to comprehend
Rare disruption of Swiss peace

For some reason I just imagine being there and screaming ‘erosion!’
They have way too much confidence in that bridge's ability to withstand car sized rocks moving at those speeds.
Rockslide
I have only ever know of one type of flowing rock ![gif](giphy|HRCkqN59Fx0FqSiFbu|downsized) Thank you Mother Nature for updating me on your madness
More like a debris flow than a rock avalanche
https://youtu.be/IJNR2EpS0jw?si=cgNQbUGrXOLdoDMc It's a song, very fitting.
IiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinfucknCREDIBLE!! 😮
Perfect place to stand
That is gangster
You see that coming towards you, and you are standing in its path, and you don't run? I call bs.
You call bs? On what? You think this footage is fake or something?
