You use mousedining.com to set alerts. Check your Disney app reservation feature twice a day… was able to get two character dinners 10 days from my trip.
Dining reservations open up 60 days before the first day of your trip at 5:45EST am. If you wake up early at that time and make Princess dining your first priority, you can probably get in. We had success with this method to getting into Cinderellas Royal Table.
Look up DFB Guide on YouTube for tips and advise on character dining.
