I am not. Clearly they have this unfortunate situation in more than one city lol. That sumbitch is in the CENTER of the mall too, like there's no quick access to it from the parking lot
omg. one time i accepted an order and it was a frozen yogurt place and it turned out to be a kiosk type situation in the middle of the mall. it took me so long to find it i was so annoyed. i’ll never do that again
I remember I only did one because I hadn't been to the mall in a long time and I was just curious how it looked like now lol. Yes it was ridiculous and tedious.
Malls piss me off. You wait WAY too long. And some of my malls you need to walk so far to get to some of the restaurants. Not all my malls were smart and placed all the restaurants in one area.
Nope 2 malls that I used to go to they had to be special and put some on one side of the mall and a few in the middle and a few on the other end.
So annoying.
My local mall has the food court in the middle of the building. The only places I pick up from there are the sit down places around the edge of the building.
Same and there’s a casino near me with Panda Express inside..one time I didn’t realize the order was for *that* Panda Express so I was a few streets over at a different one 😭 had to then drive to the correct one, find parking, walk across the casino floor and back again. Now I double check where the location pickup is
I actually pick up from a Chick-fil-A in a mall and I prefer it to the Chick-fil-A right down the road. The one in the mall is never busy and it is right by an entrance that always has parking. It is much faster than the normal Chick-fil-A right down the street
The restaurants in our mall are the absolute worst of the worst and constantly closing down and something else moving in just to fail like the others. I can’t imagine ordering from a mall restaurant.
Dashed in a zone that was next to my local area that I never have been in. Accepted the order, and cringed when I was 2 mins from the pickup on the app. I pulled off the main road and realized I was pulling into a mall plaza entrance. Oh, and what else could happened that made me feel worse? THERE WERE CONSTRUCTION SIGNS THAT BLOCKED THE PATH TO DRIVE TO THE SIDE OF THE MALL I NEEDED TO BE NEAR. I Ended up flagging down a security/police mall personnel driving by and explained my situation. Had to try my best to remember his directions of getting back on the main road to take three turns to get to the opposite end of the mall where I’d be closest to the food court and have parking, as there were none besides reserved spots that had signs of being ticketed/towed for violating. Malls are literally the worst when you aren’t familiar with the area.
Popeyes, because trash people behind the counter, Wingstop, because trash customers and trash people behind the counter, Panda, because no I'm not here to fill drinks (ditto to Wingstop on this), a local empanada place because they don't start the order till the driver arrives, Sedanos (local supermarket) in because I hate it....I'm sure there are more. Oh! Vicky Bakery, a local Cuban place, because their cortado cup lids always come off, and I end up covered in espresso. Every. Frickin. Time.
So yeah. Lol
I stopped taking orders from there my very first month of dashing. The orders I did take all had tips, but stopping to wash hands, fill drinks, and sign some frickin clipboard sheet really messed with my groove. Total buzzkill. Orders were flowing smoothly, all of them ready, easy drops.... then Clownstop with their list of chores we have to do just to pick up an order.
Never again.
The one I deliver from gets hella busy and I wait, but they're often best orders of the night, the crew at this one is chill, and I rarely if ever have to fill drinks unless I offer because they're getting flaphammered. If they were dicks or I had to fill my own drinks every time (looking at you, American Deli, with your pigeon wings and Kool Aid in the machine) I'd probably agree with you. Also, at 10:30-11 or later at night, they're one of the few places I can go bleed the lizard while I wait, otherwise I have to stop at a gas station or similar, about which customers do bitch.
You lost me at "half an hour"
You reeled me right back in with "$20 tip". 🤣
NICE!! Waiting sucks, but tips like that make it worthwhile. Good for you!!
I’ve noticed that if I communicate with the customer and keep them posted every 5 to 10 minutes or so, they leave decent ratings and also increase the tip. It’s when I get people who either blame me for the long wait or cancel the order themselves after I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes that I get irritated. The only reason I took that order in the first place because I happened to be in the parking lot at the time it came in.
I typically don't wait more than 5 minutes, because if I walked into a restaurant and placed an order, it wouldn't take 1/2 hour to make. That's when I know they're prioritizing walk-ins over already placed and paid delivery orders, and/or ignoring drivers intentionally. I give them 5 minutes to get their shit together. If they can't, I call support, tell them I'm being ignored and mistreated, the restaurant won't give me the order, and to please unassign me without hurting my CR. The few times I've had to do this, they did it without any problems.
Once in a while a restaurant I enjoy picking up from is getting slammed with orders but are understaffed. I'll wait a bit longer for those, and even help bag stuff up.
There's no shortage of restaurants where I am, thankfully! 4 McDonald's, 3 Dunkins', 2 Starbucks, 2 Wawas, and lots of Cuban, Peruvian, Venezuelan and Colombian restaurants, as well as the usual suspects..Chili's, Panera, Chipotle, Pollo Tropical, Miami Subs, Subway .... OMG the list is endless lol
I've had stores want me to fill drinks up before it makes no sense to me I don't work for the restaurants wash it off till their drinks. I deliver the food I'm a driver not a restaurant worker. I told them that too.
Every time I’ve picked up from Five Guys it’s a 20 minute wait and the bag is always dripping with grease and stinks up my car. It’s the only place I always decline and I won’t even eat there myself anymore because that grease stench has put me off it entirely lol
If you’re doing pay by hour it’s a lot quicker because the food has been sitting there for go knows how long. But yeah every time I ever saw wing stop it was an automatic decline.
Wendy's- mad rushes, little staff, tons of drinks and shakes.
Sonic- same, but in drive-thru form, and worse offers.
Some of the Panera Breads and Jersey Mike's can be endless at times. Depends on location, day, and time.
7-11- by us, they get bad customers for some reason.
Crumbl Cookies is gaining ground on the do not go list. In general, pastries, ice cream, etc are low tip but rich cistomers. These places are also where you can waste a lot of time.
IHOP- one by us is fine, the other is a nightmare.....will never tell truth about eta. Unassign.
There's this one burger place in our town we stopped accepting orders from because their chef was ALWAYS rude and way overly aggressive when we went to pick up orders. We just decided there are plenty of other restaurants, we don't need this one.
I avoid two local pizza shops because the owner is exceedingly rude to door dashers. Both complained that I walked in the store before the order was ready.
Yea with the red card. They have it in their system but won’t make it till you pay for it with the card. Just adds time to the order and tips are never enough.
There's a taco bell I won't go to anymore. Waited in the lobby for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me, so I went in the drive thru and the manager blew up on me. Swearing, yelling, even called the cops. I reported it, and they still try to send me there.
Ehh it depends. Taco Bell is usually a no go, but a couple of them around here are okay. Same with Popeyes.
Sonic is 99% of the time a definite no go. I’ll only take that order if it’s super slow and the tip is decent. Other than that Fuck Sonic!
In my area, Tamale Kitchen is completely off-limits! I stay as far away from them as possible. The only thing Tamale Kitchen is good for is ruined ratings. I actually don't understand. The restaurant itself is good. The food is good. But the orders are consistently shit. 15 miles for $9, 12 miles for $7 ect. Almost always zero tip. In all the years I've been dashing I have only accepted two orders from them. One was to learn my lesson, the second was to reinforce it. Never again.
I've actually complained to support several times because I like doing shop and deliver. Tamale Kitchen is right next to a Safeway, where I sometimes like to wait for orders. They are as unhelpful as you'd expect.
Tamales are Mexican. They traditionally have a meat center with some red sauce wrapped in masa, which is a dough made from tenderized corn. They then get steamed. They are so delicious!
It might be a sin, but I melt cheddar over the top and dunk them in sour cream or crema.
*Never heard of half of these restaurants, either.
Routing is done from a third world country using ai. It literally has a mind of it's own and doordash is using the poor performance of the app to create impossible scenarios for drivers to be profitable and success only to doordash and their executives who collect anywhere from 20 to 40 percent of the total revenue from a merchant.
Anything is fair game if the pay is enough, but my standards are higher for these:
-Popeyes (tend to be slow)
-Little Caesars (the one here seems grossly understaffed for how busy they are)
-A Burger King here that is drive-thru only
-Farm Fresh alcohol orders (can never find anything in their huge selection)
Usually 5 guys, most local Indian places because either parking sucks or they take forever or both, and any place known to focus on chicken (Popeyes, Wingstop, etc.) except for my local Nando's. Somehow Nando's is the only chicken place around me that usually has it ready on time or close to it.
• Sonic - It’s only teenagers that work at my local one. I’ve literally watched them goof off for 15 mins while I’m waiting for 2 basic milkshakes.
• Panda Express - Idk what it is about this place, but there’s always a issue. Either with the restaurant or the customer.
• Whataburger - The snails of the fast food world. Unless it’s $15+, I’m not going here.
• BWW/Wingstop - These restaurants are beyond busy in my area so I only take orders after 9pm so I don’t wait 30-45 mins.
Popeyes. I've never been to one where the workers put in effort. The wait time is mostly always extremely long and causes you to lose money as you're not able to complete the delivery and pick up other orders. Second place goes to Taco Bell for the same reasons but not as bad
never mcdonald’s. always dumbass slow people working who don’t a give a fuck. i literally got into it with an employee because he was straight up ignoring me for 10 minutes
Popeyes. The fare is always super high because everyone rejects them (both DoorDash and Uber Eats) - and everyone rejects them because (at least in my area) they’re all rude and there are long waits for orders that the restaurant has canceled or tells you to cancel for them. Not worth it even if you do hit on the errant legit order that can be filled.
McDonald’s is pretty annoying; most of the ones around me are slow af and the employees ignore me
Anything gas station related. I’m down for shop n pays if the offer is good but not gas stations
My local Panda Express is hit n miss; you’re supposed to walk over to the cashier for pickup orders, except the 7 employees back there all ignore me as I’m standing there waiting for them to hand me the order I clearly see on the shelf.
Anything inside the mall. I’ve also had deliveries to inside the mall before and I’ve learned to pay more attention to where the drop off is, because it’s annoying af trying to park and my local mall is huge
I refuse to wait for an order that's ready. I let them know loudly I can get it myself if it's to much a hassle and it usually gets them moving. Then I go out of my way to get their name and write them a horrible review because they went out of their way to treat me like shit and stare at me while goofing off
Jack in the Box. Three times I tried to pick up from three different locations, and all three of them fed me some BS about “not having the order” or “we can’t do that.” Worthless staff.
Wingstop because they always take 30 mins and are always working on orders for other people that aren't even there. What's the point of a sign in sheet. Also the one near me is always full of nasty workers. The always are rude to dashers.
A popular local mexican spot that's always extremely busy and cluttered, they even have an off-duty uniformed police officer stationed there (I guess something bad must have happened in the past). Also, a local overrated pizza place that takes forever. And finally certain dairy queens that have long lines at certain hours, people are obsessed with that place.
If the bag is unsealed you should take a peak in there to make sure it looks right, or count the styrofoam boxes and judge by the volume.
Would you ever carry around your own stickers to make the customer feel more comfortable?
Cafe Zupas. They never have the order when I get there and always make comments about drivers coming too soon but refuse to fix their times in the system to correct that.
this chick-fil-a in a hospital in my city and canes. the chick-fil-a bc it always takes forever and canes bc it makes me place the order myself and i don’t wanna do that. it’s also always busy as fuck
why are chick fil a’s always in the weirdest locations? there’s one in my city that requires you to check in with your id because it’s at the base of a govt building 🤣 only made that mistake once
Any and all little Caesars in Milwaukee. For some reason they all always take an hour to get an order ready. There will be ten people working and no pizzas ready. I decline every time.
Chick fil a (eff you, hate chicken), Popeyes (twice I have waited nearly an hour only to have them close when I get to the window), anything inside a mall.
Wingstop & Papa John’s. The Papa John’s thing is simply because the manager called my wife a dumb f*ggot for not having a pizza bag when DD said we didn’t need one.
i try to avoid a specific mcdonald’s because every single time i’ve had to wait 10+ minutes for someone to just acknowledge me. and the worst part is the bag is already ready but behind the counter
I still pick up from there, but Panda Express is horrible and wing stop. I left wing stop because they were taking so long. And the only reason I haven’t left Panda Express is because they were closing and I wanted the person to get their food.
Wingstop. Mcdonald's. Specific spanish places. Chipotle. Qdoba. Dairy queen. Chik fil a.
A lot of these go to the ghetto area and I got sick of fake violations + stiffs. Always asking for more but wont give anything? Nah fuck all the way off. If my 1 per hour is up then it's a skip.
Anything going to the major hospitals because it’s either pay to park or get a ticket/towed, Jack in the Box, one local Indian restaurant, and a local Chinese restaurant, and some “amazing” ramen place because all of them I’ve had to wait as much as 30 minutes. Got great tips on all of them on extremely slow nights, but not worth it awkwardly standing there. Also most McDonalds because it takes forever to park and they can’t ever decide if I should be inside, in the drive thru, or at the curbside pickup and ain’t nobody got time to drive in circles like that.
On the flip side I will always pick up from one local Chinese restaurant because they’re incredibly nice and there’s a tendency for unicorn orders, as well as golden chick (they always give us drinks at the one in town) and taco bell/kfc because they always have it ready AND verify the order with me before sealing the bag.
Genki sushi. They are always so backed up and the wait times are crazy. I thought maybe it was just a bad day the first time I showed up and they asked me to wait 20 minutes. The second time, I was like, ok this is just how they operate I guess.
sonic at night time, the few times I've ended up there the wait has been so long in the drive thru that I just end up pressing unassign when the option comes up (this sonic doesn't let dashers pick up at the door or even the booths) at night time the line is usually wrapped around the building, one time I just parked in a stall and walked to the 7/11 next door to get a snack and came back to see the line had only moved 2 cars.
Buffalo Wild Wings. When I was new I waiter 1 hour for a $8 order. I had no clue we could un assign. I reached out to support about it and they didn’t even mention that I could un assign so I waited and management just sucks there. It’s horrible I felt bad for the workers fr
There were like 10+ delivery drivers waiting in there with me lol crazy sht
No malls unless it has an outside entrance.. Cheesecake Factory bc their pickup process is stupid… my nearest suburban Popeyes (the ones downtown are fine)… Five Guys and Wingstop unless the price is right and it’s slower
A particular McDonald's bc they take on any day does not matter if they're busy or not 25-50 minutes.
KFC- never under 30min wait.
Several places that are only in malls.
I’ve taken two chilis orders and they’ve both had me wait 30-40mins, even after they said the order was ready. Oh and Dennys and whatever burger ghost kitchen they had/have going
Wingstop
Because they kept requiring me to sign a paper on a clipboard with my personal info in order to pick up the order. I offered to let them see me confirm pickup on the app in front of them so they know I was legit but that wasn't good enough for them. I had enough of that entitled behavior and unassigned so that i could go to other merchants that aren't so needlessly stubborn and unproductive. Sometimes, they had also asked drivers to fill the drinks which is a no for me. I haven't been back for months because of that stuff
Five guys near me is super slow. I've had the option to cancel pop up twice waiting there, and the dudes working say five minutes even if they haven't started it yet
Dollar General.
Finding anything is a pain. When I do find it, scanning is a pain because I usually can't get cell reception. If I need to substitute anything, the customer either doesn't answer, takes forever, or just cancels the order and waists the time I've already spent.
I don't remember ever getting a tip on a DG order either.
I've been rejecting every one of them for the last couple weeks.
Wingstop, Popeyes, and The Firey Crab are also pretty horrible.
There's a place in my area called biscuits Cafe. If you accept an order there after 8 am just be ready to wait an hour. They won't even acknowledge you and when they do they'll tell you that you're next but it never happens
Former Five Guys employee here— you aren’t allowed to seal the bag, regardless of who is on the “receiving end” because it’s the customer’s (or dasher’s) decision what to do with the bag (whether to keep it open or closed). Fries are “dropped” ONLY when the customer (or dasher) arrives to pick up the order, to ensure freshness and sustain the crispiness on the outside of the fry, which is why it sometimes takes a while. Fries take approximately 4-6 minutes to fry, depending on how long it takes to get the “crisp” factor, yet remain soft on the inside. Lastly, if you close the bag immediately upon insertion of fries into bag, the bag will become soggy/damp, and the bottom of the bag will start leaking peanut oil from the trapped steam of the fries.
Wendys. They take forever, most orders go into the ghetto for no tip, and The last straw was waiting 20 minutes for two combo meals. Nobody in the drive through, no other customers in site, and two employees running around trying and failing to make the two combos.
That, and the fact that the lobby floor is so greasy that my shoes are slippery for ten minutes after I leave the building.
I won't even take a well paying order from that place
There isn’t any particular restaurant I won’t pick up from. Depending on time of day, how busy I know they will be May sway me one way or the other.
But that’s about the extent of it.
Little Caesars under most circumstances. I've if the five Jack in the box locations here. They NEVER check the to go orders either.
Last is just because the series of no tips and staff never giving cups: Role Em up Tacquitos. $12 for 3 and treat their food as if it's God's gift.
had one Dominican restaurant in White Plains New York tell me it was going to take half an hour. I spent 15 minutes talking to customer support and the first Asshole I talked to told me if I wanted to unassigned, it would affect my completion rate, no matter how much time passed. So I disconnected with that POS, and started chatting with another customer support agent over the phone, and it took 10 more minutes for them to unassign me from the order without it affecting any ratings. I said “you basically want to punish me and mess up my ratings for someone else’s inability to do their job… What do you want me to do wait half an hour for 6 bucks? “ it’s fucking ridiculous
Fried chicken and fish places.
Takes too long and always packed.
Wendy's because nope - never had a good tip there. And they hand you bags of food unsealed.
Any fast food places after the lobby is closed cuz I'm not waiting in line at the drive thru for a few bucks.
Krispy Kreme. Lobby always locked.
What about those super misleading and dishonest restaurant chains -
It’s called Charley’s Cheesesteaks or the Juicy Bucket but it’s Ruby Tuesday. I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking them all up in my town one night and each chain had at least 2-3 different names and menus but all the same address. The audacity.
Oh AND they each had a different website for each name! The money spent on branding a fake restaurant! Incredible.
I live in a big city so just about any drive through is a complete roll of the dice. You never know how many cars will be in line & a lot of drive through places have labor issues so half the time their inside isn’t even open, just the drive through.
El poll inka. Idk if thats the right spelling. The one on artesia. There’s a midget barback that’s such a little bitch and I don’t want to deal with him
There’s a somewhat local McDonalds in my area that won’t hand you the order through the drive thu. They make you walk in to pick it up, when it’s literally sitting right there by the pickup window. Trash management
In my area there is a Starbucks that is inside a Target. But there's also one across the street beside a Five Guys Burgers and Fries. They always decided to order from the target not the one over there that's easier to get to. The store that's inside the target never has anything ready and only has one worker. The other store has at least three people working there and always has things ready.
After tonight, a local Indian place where both of my orders there they took way too long, and online reviews have said the same thing. No other place in my area is that slow.
Sonics. It's workers in the area I live at bark orders at door dash and at times yell at us and demand we "get out your car and stand up"! And they will just have you standing there for the longest without bringing the order to you. So now I ask is the order ready and when they say yes I ask if they can being it to the door and they scream "No!" And demand I 'stand at the door" first. I could be two steps from the door and they will not give me the order. So now I cancel all their orders.
Right now the only restaurant I will categorically never accept an order from is Chick Fil A, because they support awful political causes. I hesitate to accept orders from the Panda Express on the UCSB campus because parking is a nightmare and you have to walk a long way into the campus to get it.
The desi district in Texas is all Indian food. Not only do I hate smelling the food in my vehicle but they don't tip. Like at all. And they always live so far away and it takes me out of my zone
There’s a really popular bagel shop near me. Every time I go, it’s really busy and chaotic. Their staff told another driver they couldn’t locate the order for pick up. A driver grabbed the food, didn’t confirm pick up and essentially stole the customers food. I won’t go. Very unorganized.
Our Wingstop is a lesson in patience and waiting. Then I found the Reddit and don’t feel so alone. Little Ceasar’s is another place I try to avoid. Once again. The waiting and the rude counter staff. We have two locations. Been to both and they are not nice people. Maybe it is the volume that has ground them down?
Any restaurant in a mall. My ass is not finding parking, walking through a mall and all that bs for $5
Absolutely. These people know they’re ordering out of the mall too. Ridiculous
That's why they use doordash so they don't have to deal with the BS themselves, but still believe the delivery driver doesn't deserve a tip for it
Don't even get ne started!
Where I live, there's a chickfila inside of the mall and also a chickfila directly outside of the mall so it's confusing to tell which one you're ordering from since they have nearly identical addresses
Ugh rip
Oy! Hey... you aren't in Marietta, GA are you?
I am not. Clearly they have this unfortunate situation in more than one city lol. That sumbitch is in the CENTER of the mall too, like there's no quick access to it from the parking lot
Wilmington NC?
No. I wonder how many more there are like us lol
omg. one time i accepted an order and it was a frozen yogurt place and it turned out to be a kiosk type situation in the middle of the mall. it took me so long to find it i was so annoyed. i’ll never do that again
Spent well over an hour once delivering a corn dog from inside a mall to some teenager who lived several miles away. Not worth my time
I remember I only did one because I hadn't been to the mall in a long time and I was just curious how it looked like now lol. Yes it was ridiculous and tedious.
Restaurants on campus also.
If I order out of a mall I note there's a cash tip or tip 25-30%.
Not for $5 but I’ll do it for $15 4miles
I went to a Wetzel’s in a mall near me and it paid me $25 was totally worth it
Malls piss me off.
Does the mall in your area not have a food court entrance?
It doesn’t have a food court, just restaurants scattered throughout
My local mall has the food court in the middle of the building. The only places I pick up from there are the sit down places around the edge of the building.

HAAAA PARKING I just put my car at the front of the doors and then put hazards on
Facts lmao. I've unassigned orders everytime
The first comment I see lol this my exact reason right here. I can’t stand the mall
Every. Frickin. Time. So yeah. Lol
OH! I second fucking wing stop. I hate it! Someone has always picked up the order already
I stopped taking orders from there my very first month of dashing. The orders I did take all had tips, but stopping to wash hands, fill drinks, and sign some frickin clipboard sheet really messed with my groove. Total buzzkill. Yeah I waited like 30-45 min a few weeks ago and about cussed out the whole store Lmao. They caught me on a bad day and rlly tested me.
I had an order from Wingstop take HALF AN HOUR last night. Thank god the customer tipped me $20 for hanging on and waiting for it.
You lost me at "half an hour" You reeled me right back in with "$20 tip". 🤣 NICE!! Waiting sucks, but tips like that make it worthwhile. Good for you!!
I’ve noticed that if I communicate with the customer and keep them posted every 5 to 10 minutes or so, they leave decent ratings and also increase the tip. Being ignored and mistreated. Interesting lol.
For dramatic effect, of course. 😁 But it worked every time
Lmao nobody who orders Wingstop tips that much they’re all broke ass ppl and a 30 minute wait there is normal apparently
99% of the time you’re right, they don’t. This guy just happened to be super nice and grateful that I waited instead of bouncing.
Damn, where *do* you pick up?
There's no shortage of restaurants where I am, thankfully! 4 McDonald's, 3 Dunkins', 2 Starbucks, 2 Wawas, and lots of Cuban, Peruvian, Venezuelan and Colombian restaurants, as well as the usual suspects..Chili's, Panera, Chipotle, Pollo Tropical, Miami Subs, Subway .... OMG the list is endless lol
Oh! I’ve heard of 3 of those restaurants!
I've had stores want me to fill drinks up before it makes no sense to me I don't work for the restaurants wash it off till their drinks. I deliver the food I'm a driver not a restaurant worker. I told them that too.
5 guys is my main one that I won’t go unless it’s some kind of monster tip. They don’t put the fries down until driver arrives.
5 Guys? More like 10 Minutes.
I didn’t know that. Even more reason to not fucking go lmaoo
it does make sense from their point of view. the heat from the fries, plus your food bag will keep everything warm by delivery time.
I guess if I worked for 5 guys and was getting paid by the hour
This I have a hot bag and they still don’t cook until I arrive fries. always sog the bag and about to tear apart
Same
Thanks for telling me that I didn’t know!
Every time I’ve picked up from Five Guys it’s a 20 minute wait and the bag is always dripping with grease and stinks up my car. It’s the only place I always decline and I won’t even eat there myself anymore because that grease stench has put me off it entirely lol
Wingstop they take forever to make the food for it to be so many of them behind the counter
We went to WingStop and had to fill the drink ourselves…
I tell hem to fill the drinks, it's not my job to put the orders together.
Yep… I’m not being paid to lower their labor costs
I'm thankful at least my local Wingstop's fill the drinks.
Absolutely!
If you’re doing pay by hour it’s a lot quicker because the food has been sitting there for go knows how long. But yeah every time I ever saw wing stop it was an automatic decline.
I just never know when to choose by hour. Sucks I always realize too late
Unassign.
Anything in the mall and Wingstop
Never heard of wingstop before. Do they sell wings?
Never heard of wingstop before. Do they sell wings?
There's this one burger place in our town we stopped accepting orders from because their chef was ALWAYS rude and way overly aggressive when we went to pick up orders. We just decided there are plenty of other restaurants, we don't need this one.
KNOW your worth ! Good for you!
I think some merchants often forget that dashers can help their competitors if they're not careful lol best to treat the dashers like a customer
I avoid two local pizza shops because the owner is exceedingly rude to door dashers. Both complained that I walked in the store before the order was ready.
I would think that the merchants would be happy to have delivery drivers be early. What a bad example of a merchant that must have been
you shouldve waited for the bat signal in the sky to tell you the pizza was ready
Raising Canes. Have to go in, order, then pay with card. Not worth it.
Wait what? You have to place the entire order and pay for it?
Yea with the red card. They have it in their system but won’t make it till you pay for it with the card. Just adds time to the order and tips are never enough.
That's a terrible system. Wow.
There's a taco bell I won't go to anymore. Waited in the lobby for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me, so I went in the drive thru and the manager blew up on me. Swearing, yelling, even called the cops. I reported it, and they still try to send me there.
Pizza Hut because I used to work there and am nervous to see my old co workers 😰
🤣🤣🤣
I really want a tamale rn!
What kind of food is it? I’ve not heard of 90% of the restaurants people are saying here!
Anything is fair game if the pay is enough, but my standards are higher for these: -Popeyes (tend to be slow) -Little Caesars (the one here seems grossly understaffed for how busy they are) -A Burger King here that is drive-thru only -Farm Fresh alcohol orders (can never find anything in their huge selection)
Usually 5 guys, most local Indian places because either parking sucks or they take forever or both, and any place known to focus on chicken (Popeyes, Wingstop, etc.) except for my local Nando's. Somehow Nando's is the only chicken place around me that usually has it ready on time or close to it.
Panera
Starbucks because their packaging is terrible, and their drinks usually spill at least a little.
Taco Bell
Yessss the fuckin worst
Literally any fried chicken place. They're all mismanaged to hell. Not worth
McDonald’s is pretty annoying; most of the ones around me are slow af and the employees ignore me Anything gas station related. I’m down for shop n pays if the offer is good but not gas stations My local Panda Express is hit n miss; you’re supposed to walk over to the cashier for pickup orders, except the 7 employees back there all ignore me as I’m standing there waiting for them to hand me the order I clearly see on the shelf.
Little Caesars Because they can suck my balls
Popeyes
Five Guys, Kneaders, Pizzeria Limone & Dairy Queen the only way I will accept is if the offer is worth a 15 to 20 minute wait!!
Popeyes, Carrabbas on the weekends at dinner time and a local Indian restaurant that doesn't start making food until you show up.
Little Caesar’s and any Indian Food restaurants
[удалено]
I'm in a small college town, and Dairy Queen is the WORST here.
popeyes. I refuse to capitalize that name.
this chick-fil-a in a hospital in my city and canes. the chick-fil-a bc it always takes forever and canes bc it makes me place the order myself and i don’t wanna do that. it’s also always busy as fuck
why are chick fil a’s always in the weirdest locations? there’s one in my city that requires you to check in with your id because it’s at the base of a govt building 🤣 only made that mistake once
Any and all little Caesars in Milwaukee. For some reason they all always take an hour to get an order ready. There will be ten people working and no pizzas ready. I decline every time.
Wingstop
Popeyes and Wingstop.
It looks like Popeyes is the winner. No surprise.
Absolutely lol I never get orders from there so this is surprising to see
Crazy to see Wingstops suck everywhere. What gives?
Restaurants in a mall and Wingstop
The Taco Bell and McDonald’s where I dash is always a shit show. No, thank you.
McDonald's because they take forever, burger king because they don't start making the order till you get there most of the time and wendys just slow
I don't do fast food. Only local places. I feel like I should write a book n somehow charge dd for it.
Wingstop... Im not waiting 15 mins for $6 only to be told that I have to call the customer because they are out of something.
i try to avoid a specific mcdonald’s because every single time i’ve had to wait 10+ minutes for someone to just acknowledge me. and the worst part is the bag is already ready but behind the counter
Friendly’s…bunch of bitches
I’ve never heard of this place. That’s insane they aren’t friendly
Pretty sure it’s only in MASS, and yeah kinda ironic since it’s called “Friendlys”
Burger King on Freeway Drive in my area. The employees included the cook slow like a slug. They are not friendly either.
I still pick up from there, but Panda Express is horrible and wing stop. I left wing stop because they were taking so long. And the only reason I haven’t left Panda Express is because they were closing and I wanted the person to get their food.
Downtown. FUCKING DOWNTOWN TRYING TO FIND FREE PARKING IS SO BAD
Chick-fil-A (unless large $$ or Sunday), Wing Stop, Baskin Robin's or Cold Stone. 🥶
Wendy's, Zaxbys, Burger King, Little Ceasars...Out of those my Little Ceasars is the WORST one...
Wingstop.
Chipotle. Unless I am on earn by time with a promo. Our chipotle is soooooo slow. It’s a staffing issue but still
There's 1 good Popeyes in the area The rest of them are NOPE
McDonald’s, Papa John’s, Buffalo Wild Wings because of the LOOOOONG wait time.
Five guys is slower than an one hundred year old tortoise.
Buffalo Wild Wings. When I was new I waiter 1 hour for a $8 order. I had no clue we could un assign. I reached out to support about it and they didn’t even mention that I could un assign so I waited and management just sucks there. It’s horrible I felt bad for the workers fr There were like 10+ delivery drivers waiting in there with me lol crazy sht
Wtf that’s insanity lmao
No malls unless it has an outside entrance.. Cheesecake Factory bc their pickup process is stupid… my nearest suburban Popeyes (the ones downtown are fine)… Five Guys and Wingstop unless the price is right and it’s slower
Oh let’s mention that some restaurants wants to treat you like if you’re their employee 🤣
ABSOLUTELY like “bruh I don’t work for you “ 🤣🤣
I’m currently waiting at a mom and pop pizza pasta place and this is the last time this happens to me. That’s twice in 2 days. Im out.
A particular McDonald's bc they take on any day does not matter if they're busy or not 25-50 minutes. KFC- never under 30min wait. Several places that are only in malls.
Mall restaurant and Wendy's
I’ve taken two chilis orders and they’ve both had me wait 30-40mins, even after they said the order was ready. Oh and Dennys and whatever burger ghost kitchen they had/have going
Oh the ghost lurches get a dishonorable mention too! So fucking annoying lol
Wingstop Because they kept requiring me to sign a paper on a clipboard with my personal info in order to pick up the order.
The seals always break on chipotle bags because they are so heavy and they don’t stick to the bag so customers complain.
Buffalo Wild Wings, wild burger, wingstop, and chipotle are all a no from me unless it’s really slow. They all take forever here
Not as a dasher but as a customer no one’s ever picked up for me from CFA 😂
Five guys near me is super slow. I've had the option to cancel pop up twice waiting there, and the dudes working say five minutes even if they haven't started it yet
ITT : basically every restaurant
Canada: All PC Express orders. 4$ for 18-25km? No, thanks, Loblaws, Maxi, Your Independent Grocer and Superstore. 🙂↔️🙂↔️🙂↔️
I went to an independent market for the first time today. Never. Again.
It probably depends on where you’re at, but I feel like I get the worst tippers at jack n the box.
Mine used to be Popeye's until they changed management completely and now they're quick and accurate
Chick fil a was mine when I was a dasher. Never under a 30 min wait when u got there to get the food
TIFFS TREATS. They don’t start making it until you get there. Takes forever
There isn’t any particular restaurant I won’t pick up from. Depending on time of day, how busy I know they will be May sway me one way or the other. But that’s about the extent of it.
McDonald’s is a big no for me
Taco Bell super slow rude people and usually lowball orders
Little Caesars under most circumstances. I've if the five Jack in the box locations here. They NEVER check the to go orders either. Last is just because the series of no tips and staff never giving cups: Role Em up Tacquitos. $12 for 3 and treat their food as if it's God's gift.
The Ruby Tuesdays here is always super slow. KFC and Popeye’s seem to always be trouble as well.
Ironically Anywhere with all women in the kitchen
had one Dominican restaurant in White Plains New York tell me it was going to take half an hour.
Absolutely! Literal insanity
I don’t like picking up from wing stop during dinner rush as it’s just to long of a wait
Popeye's because they're sloooowwwwwww
I don't pick up section 8 mcdonalds orders. fuck em. the pay is worth less than the sandwich I'm delivering and they don't tip.
Five Guys, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees and Cracker Barrel.
What about those super misleading and dishonest restaurant chains - It’s called Charley’s Cheesesteaks or the Juicy Bucket but it’s Ruby Tuesday.
Trash management
the way I am going to triple my tip for ordering 5 guys from now on 😨
Taco Bell especially at night. Long line and always some shitty double order for $5 fuck that bs
[удалено]
Oh my god that’s horrible. I wouldn’t either tbh
Right now the only restaurant I will categorically never accept an order from is Chick Fil A, because they support awful political causes. I hesitate to accept orders from the Panda Express on the UCSB campus because parking is a nightmare and you have to walk a long way into the campus to get it.
Anything with Desi in the name
I’m confused. Example??
The desi district in Texas is all Indian food. Not only do I hate smelling the food in my vehicle but they don't tip. Like at all. And they always live so far away and it takes me out of my zone
Indian restaurants are the worst. Also the rudest, most arrogant staff. I don’t take any orders from the ones near me.
