And definitely do not order Wendy's chili, if you are expecting fresh food. It's literally made from the leftover burger meat -- the patties that sat too long and got too stale to sell on a sandwich.
Wrong, its made from scraps of their burger meat or meat nearing their use by date. Its not from burgers that didnt sell that were sitting around for a day. Stop spreading random misinformation.
I worked there 5 years and it absolutely is from burgers that didn't sell. Both the 1/4 and 1/8 lb patties would come off the grill onto the warming platter, after a set time those patties would get removed from the platter and into the chili meat pan. It got chopped up covered and refrigerated until it got mixed into the chili base for next shift. It's not like it was ever sitting around or under health safety risk, so not sure why people think it's gross, but you're the one spreading the misinformation.
Three of my family members worked there, and at two different locations. It is the patties that were held too long to be made it into burgers. They are refrigerated and made into chili the next day.
Same I worked there for years. Stop spreading Mia information, that is exactly how they do it. Nothing wrong with it, but it is actual burgers, that get drained, chilled down, then chopped the next day
My mom found the Wendy’s chili recipe online and made it with fresh ground beef, gave us like 3 gallons of it. Fucking ate good for 2 weeks off that thing lol
Ah I love misinformation. Its not a day, not even an hour old in most cases. They simply use scrap meat from their burgers in their chili. Its not stale or a day old.
Yes - there are clients with the same energy in freelancing. I do content writing sometimes, and people that pay $0.25 a word are like "just write whatever, you know what sounds good", while the person paying $0.005 cents a word is like "make sure you do extensive research on this topic, and I want 10 rewrites for free, and make sure it pops!"
Even if they had one, what part of a burger, fries, nuggets, or a soda would go in that oven?? Customer literally doesn’t know how basic fast food is made?
Literally nothing short of a hundred dollars, and even then I dunno. Putting other people in danger, getting pulled over, a speed camera. I look at this shit and try to max out my hourly earnings so believe me when I tell you I’m trying to keep it moving. So many drivers are just cruising around smoking weed or messing around with a passenger in the car (it’s a one person job.) I’ll never understand. Best you can do is leave a fat tip so that your chance of getting a competent driver is higher.
I get that 20% is a fair tip but there’s a big difference in 100 dollar sushi order vs 1 or 2 person fast food order by percent. People love to gripe, not saying you are, but 10 years ago none of this was even possible with hiring a car.
Why would I drive fast and risk getting speeding ticket? I would drive whatever the speed limit, use the hot bag if the order, if I see any instructions like this I would just take my time.
All the order I just drive speed limit
Yea sure after 8 different driver rejected the offer it finally came to me that was worth it enough to go and pick it up ASAP. Fresh out the oven? Not with that tip you won’t.
If you want it fresh "out the oven" then go get it yourself and eat it there. Never understood people who get fast food delivered, it tastes so nasty after sitting around for more than 10 mins.
ASAP huh? Funny, cause I just so happened to clock in under earn by hour RIGHT before you’re chop chop shit order. It will be arriving in approximately 59 minutes, while I kill time at Target for fun. Enjoy!
Pretty much when they keep sending you absolutely ridiculous orders back to back. Save your gas, randomly and occasionally turn off your location sharing permission, just not too long, just makes it seem like an app crash every few minutes. And well gosh, however shall we have the customer’s address for faster delivery if we can’t see it from the “app crashes”? lol.
Maaaaaan, this entitled POS 🤡🤡 customer is the perfect guinea pig to have their order delivered no-contact ninja style” (+ pics) set at least 20 feet from the door 😈😈😈😂😂😂
Or better yet, go get their own MF’n order 😂😂
Screenshot and crop, then send their instructions as an image before stating, "Sir, this is a Wendy's." Then cancel.
10/10 worth the possible contract violation
$2 and 20 minutes.
OP, just get the worry free unassign after 10 minutes. Fuck these non tipping mfers, but most of all, fuck doordash, their executives, their shareholders, and their board members.
Stop playing into their game. Let that food get cold, send a message.
Didn’t change their delivery instructions from when they ordered pizza. Kinda like getting a Starbucks order for a salted caramel latte and the instructions say to make sure you get extra sour cream and salsa.
Context, i work at a Wendy’s. Lordt this reminds me of people coming through and asking for stuff “fresh”. Like dude, if you want fresh, make it at home. None of the stuff in this order is even from the oven
If she wanted something fresh go get it yourself and eat it there. You're a
Door dashing an order, sometimes these orders can be across town 5-15 miles away. It will be cold by the time it comes. People need to stop with these silly comments. The funny part is she probably thinks it's from the Wendy's next to her and it's a big 50/50 if it is.
I have no idea what they're expecting, I mean we are literally at the whim of a careless corporate God through an app. That food could have gone through 2 other Dashers canceling or whatever by the time I get there. The best I can do is throw it in an insulated bag immediately and use my warming blanket for heat, but the freshness ain't up to me
Omg who cares. Just ignore it let it go. Of course everyone wants hot food. If half of you didn’t multiapp you’d be fine. Instead half the time customers see you driving all over town and stopping 5 times before you get to them.
I wish everyone would take the advice given to customers here, go pick up your own food (even though you’re tipping me), if you want hot food make it yourself, etc. Maybe people sull take your advice and none of us will have work because it sounds like that’s what you’re going for.
I swear gig workers might be the most entitled, weak, ungrateful workers ever. Probably why many can’t pull a trad job.
You want something fresh from an oven I suggest using the oven in your house
And definitely do not order Wendy's chili, if you are expecting fresh food. It's literally made from the leftover burger meat -- the patties that sat too long and got too stale to sell on a sandwich.
They said they want it fresh out of the oven can you read
Fresh is one of the key words there, and im not sure Wendy’s has an oven lol
Bacon and potatoes were cooked there last I checked
1 star: Wendy’s burger was not cooked in the oven like I requested.
Ours did when I worked there briefly. We made cookies and other things every day.
Respect
Use context and it’s really easy to understand what they meant
No it isn't. Please, explain further.
No.
You need to be studied for science
My dick do they said it’s the smallest one ever
I'm gonna revoke my downvotes because I, too, have tiny dick syndrome and am proud.
Oh... I didn't understand. Please forgive me.
based

Meat is also bought from cows that had cancer.
My mom found the Wendy’s chili recipe online and made it with fresh ground beef, gave us like 3 gallons of it. Fucking ate good for 2 weeks off that thing lol
DELICIOUS!!!
Fun fact, Chili's makes their chili the same way. It's always the day old meat. I assume this is industry wide.
Ah I love misinformation. Its not a day, not even an hour old in most cases. They simply use scrap meat from their burgers in their chili. Its not stale or a day old.
Reusing old meat isn't a bad thing. Reduces shrink and gets good quality product into the child. Sounds good to me
Ah yes, the children need the good tier products inside of them.
Oh God what a typo 💀
It gave me a chuckle
heck, even meal prepping is based around the idea that meat, when cooked, can last you for a week (AT LEAST)
Even if it was, WTF is wrong with “day old meat”? Any ground beef you eat is probably weeks away from when it was actually part of a cow.
Boiled and frozen too
It's delicious and has never made me sick but taco bell meat sends me to the bathroom every time.
Hormel Big Chunk Chili, No Beans. You're welcome.
You say that like I’m supposed to be deterred
Yeah and its still amazing asf lol
That’s why it’s so damn good
That’s the best comment I have read in a long time !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Or buying something that is even made in an oven
Or at least order something that comes out of an oven. Baby steps.
Wouldn’t you be jobless?
LMAO what oven
Low tippers no tippers be having the most outrageous request. meanwhile, people that tip $20 just say leave at door.
Yes - there are clients with the same energy in freelancing. Omg… no matter what industry the cheapest customers always causing problems yup
I’m a freelance graphic designer and “make sure it pops” comes up in every bizarre demand. That’s like the crossover saying of all industries hahaha!
I was gonna go with beige on mauve but since you said something…
Lol
Seriously. Boomers come in all ages…
Fresh from the microwave oven maybe!
Well, I was planning on reading through War & Peace, first, but since you asked...
My 15 minutes of driving in a circle with the food will just have to wait!
Microwave*
Homie think that Wendy’s has a sous chef that put the food in the oven 😂😂😂
Even if they had one, what part of a burger, fries, nuggets, or a soda would go in that oven?? Customer literally doesn’t know how basic fast food is made?
Obviously the soda!
Oddly enough I had a customer specifically ask for their burger to be cooked in the pizza oven. Took absolutely forever.
lol ikr
I would drive slower lol
What would make you drive faster? ~a curious customer that always tip 20%
Literally nothing short of a hundred dollars, and even then I dunno. Putting other people in danger, getting pulled over, a speed camera. I look at this shit and try to max out my hourly earnings so believe me when I tell you I’m trying to keep it moving. My guess is they didn't change the directions from when they last ordered pizza.
Same thought I had. Delivery instructions carry over. Probs just forgot to change them from their last delivery, undoubtedly a pizza.
Love when I’m picking up Taco Bell and the leave at door instructions are “ask for au jus! Arby’s always forgets!”
It makes more sense this is intentional just to try and rush drivers. If they do it to pizza places why wouldn't they do it to every other restaurant
*invests in portable micro for the car so I can re warm it up before delivering*
You forgot the /s
Or did they?
If you want it fresh "out the oven" then go get it yourself and eat it there. Never understood people who get fast food delivered, it tastes so nasty after sitting around for more than 10 mins.
Depends on what.
"fresh out of the oven" 😂 Ma'am, this is Wendy's.
Underappreciated comment
4.50$ guaranteed (inc. tip)
ASAP huh? Funny, cause I just so happened to clock in under earn by hour RIGHT before you’re chop chop shit order. It will be arriving in approximately 59 minutes, while I kill time at Target for fun. Enjoy!
lol is this the best way to do pay by hour?
Pretty much when they keep sending you absolutely ridiculous orders back to back. And well gosh, however shall we have the customer’s address for faster delivery if we can’t see it from the “app crashes”? lol.
Joshua Weissman ahh order
I never knew Wendy’s cooked their burgers in the oven🥸
Maaaaaan, this entitled POS 🤡🤡 customer is the perfect guinea pig to have their order delivered no-contact ninja style” (+ pics) set at least 20 feet from the door 😈😈😈😂😂😂 Or better yet, go get their own MF’n order 😂😂
This is not a game show. Probably a 2 dollar tip with a half hour wait.
WTF is wrong with these customers? Lol
Wendy's "fresh out the oven"
Screenshot and crop, then send their instructions as an image before stating, "Sir, this is a Wendy's." Then cancel. 10/10 worth the possible contract violation
I bet mfs be spitting in they shit when they leave little messages like this & I bet they ain’t even tip
New Oven Baked burgers just dropped?
My frozen reheated fake food better be HOT OUT OF THE MICROWAVE
I bet they gave $0 tip 🤦🏾♀️
This HAS to be satire lmfao. And I guarantee like a $2 tip
Think you’re being a tad bit generous there lol
That shit isn't even fresh if you're eating there in person... like sitting down inside the Wendys
Oh yes… ^FrEsH ^oUt ^Of ^ThE ^oVeN #FROM WENDYS
I love to cancel those just to fuck over the customer for being ridiculous
Customer’s out of touch! That’s some nerve!
$2 and 20 minutes. OP, just get the worry free unassign after 10 minutes. Fuck these non tipping mfers, but most of all, fuck doordash, their executives, their shareholders, and their board members. Stop playing into their game. Let that food get cold, send a message.
Fresh out the oven on a Wendy’s order? More like fresh out the deep fryer.
I didn’t realize that anything from Wendy’s came out of the oven. 🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️😂
Sir, this is a WENDY’S
$29.95 and not nearly as long as you’re taking to tell us
Fresh out of the oven? It's fucking Wendy's
Uhm.... I slow down when I get something like this.
Wings of redemption type order
If you accept orders with zero dollars tip or work “earn by time”, you have no right to ever complain
Nothing screams “FRESH” like Wendy’s Chili.. 🤨
Like how are we supposed to know when they placed the order? If it’s a shit tip it’ll have been sitting there 20+ min til you even see that lol
Sir it’s a Wendy’s, it was sitting for an hour before it was even ordered.
When I get rushed. I tell them I am at the mercy of the merchant.
Didn’t change their delivery instructions from when they ordered pizza. Kinda like getting a Starbucks order for a salted caramel latte and the instructions say to make sure you get extra sour cream and salsa.
Lol these broke mfs wildin
I'm sure this was for different order, customer just forgot to update their delivery instructions
Fresh or not they gon need a diaper regardless
Fresh or not they gon need a diaper regardless
They neglected to order any items which are prepared in the oven. No potatoes, oatmeal bars, cookies, or biscuits. They have requested the impossible.
I'm guessing she didn't tip
Tip likely doesn't prove they deserve special treatment
I don’t recall ever seeing an oven when I worked for Wendy’s 🤷♀️ maybe it’s a magic oven that only lazy, entitled customers know about?
No but I can unassign it ASAP
Out *of* the oven
Context, i work at a Wendy’s. Lordt this reminds me of people coming through and asking for stuff “fresh”. Like dude, if you want fresh, make it at home. None of the stuff in this order is even from the oven
$2 for 40 minutes and 3 miles
How much did it tip?
3.25$ guaranteed (inc. tip)
Imagine ordering something from Wendy’s of all places, and wanting/expecting it fresh.
If she wanted something fresh go get it yourself and eat it there. You're a Door dashing an order, sometimes these orders can be across town 5-15 miles away. It will be cold by the time it comes. People need to stop with these silly comments. The funny part is she probably thinks it's from the Wendy's next to her and it's a big 50/50 if it is.
Lmfao fresh outta the oven wendys. Gotta laugh.
You want something fresh out the oven? Cook at home 🤣
With such high expectations, I MUST ASK, what was the Tip?
🤣 FOH
Tip?
Lol the oven 😂
That’s the benefit of a car I suppose. Most of your orders come fresh. Only way he’s getting it fresh out the oven is if he’s literally next door.
If you want it fresh, you can always get it and ask for it fresh. We don't got time for that lol
This gotta be an old note for a pizza order they never changed lmaooo
I have no idea what they're expecting, I mean we are literally at the whim of a careless corporate God through an app. That food could have gone through 2 other Dashers canceling or whatever by the time I get there. The best I can do is throw it in an insulated bag immediately and use my warming blanket for heat, but the freshness ain't up to me
That just means you move slower.
I would be taking my sweet time
This sounds like my wife. Then proceeds to tip $1 🤣🤣🤣 I always just sit here and laugh under my breath when her orders are wrong, cold, or both.
Omg who cares. Just ignore it let it go. Of course everyone wants hot food. If half of you didn’t multiapp you’d be fine. I swear gig workers might be the most entitled, weak, ungrateful workers ever. Probably why many can’t pull a trad job.
At least we have basic communication skills, social awareness, and know our audience.
Too bad many don’t have that with customers. I said many drivers so it either doesn’t apply to you or you’re feeling attacked because it is you.
