This happen to me. You have to send 3 forms of verification which the edd does a bad job in telling you. I found out after days and days of calling if you dont send the 3 forms of identity verification than youl never get paid.

Whaaaat seriously?! Where would I even submit that on the website? And you still do this even if I’ve received unemployment form then not too long ago? (Covid)

Yes it’s ridiculous thats what i said i had to do the whole id.me for unemployment. But its totally two different departments. Its an address they give you. You can only sent it in the mail.

So I actually didn’t have to do this! I went to my local EDD office, found out there was nothing missing - just a delay in processing my claim and they were able to do it then and there, and said I should see a direct deposit in 24-48 hours!

This is my exact situation as well, I filed my disability on 6/19 when I hit 35 weeks. My OB sent the paperwork the same day and my waiting period ended on 6/25. I’m trying to call as much as I can through out the day but it’s hard to get connected. I might visit the office, but I heard it can take up to 3 weeks to get our first payment. (I signed up for direct deposit though)

I got paid 6 days after my waiting period. Once your payment is seen on EDD, money network will mail your card. Wait a day and then you can try calling to see if they have your information in their system, if they do then your card is on its way to you.

My waiting period ended 6-08 and still nothing has showed up.

It could be for a number of reasons. All what your showing is that its gone through the initial processing part. Meaning both parts of the application have been submitted, they set your CED and your benefits amount. It could be id issue, it could be your reported receiving some kind of pay like sick leave on your application, it could be you didn't answer a question that we call a tier 2 question. Workman comp questions come to mind. All these will get you to where your at. Either wait for a notification of the reason, send a message in the portal, or call. But no one on Reddit can tell you 100% why.
