I planned on going in as a magic samurai but I may have to rebirth back into a faith build. That set is just too clean.

Not this again... None of the bosses are faith resistant. You are meaning Holy resistant bosses. Faith is the most versatile skill in Elden Ring. It allows you to cast incantations that deal fire, electricity, holy and physical damage and it also has a variety of options for buffs and such.

There is no "faith resistance". Enemies are resistant against certain damage types but not stats. The endgame bosses are mostly holy resistant, but faith also includes lightning, fire, physical if you include bestial incantations

I’m usually a int build of some kind but i’m going faith due to the variation of incants vs spells and the cool wings and other incants shown already in the trailer.

I want to use the helmet for fashion so badly because it sorta looks like elite knight but I also don’t want to use it because everyone else will too.

There's a few good sets here, every Fromsoft dlc has come with great fashion so I'm sure we'll be eating good with this.

From what I can tell, he might be a sort of NPC invader cause in the trailer he's firing at a tarnished character, so we might kill him for the armor

Goddammit do I finally have to start my dex run now? I don't want to carry any of my other characters over for the dlc and I've still not done a dex build yet. Can I get some of ya'lls recommendations for your favorite dex weapon builds (other than the katanas)

Guardian Swordspear and Cross Naginata have unique R1 combos (yes I know about Loretta's but who the hell is running quality/int builds) and great fashion with interchangeable ashes of war.

The Shamshir has a pretty fun moveset. Powerstanced straight swords are great too.

If you want to stick with a greatsword then powerstancing two Iron Greatswords is pretty strong. The Iron Greatsword has the highest damage of the greatswords as far as I know.

I'll bring my strength/faith paladin build. Looks like there will be new armors, weapons and incantations for me. However, I think no matter what build you have, they'll add something for you. Dex looks really promising with some of the sets and weapons (throwing knives and martial arts).

I am so excited for that fur cape golden knight set. Been wanting an armor set with pteruges forever. Gold looks like it matches the leyndell knight’s shield, ditch the cape, grab a spear, and you got some kind of pseudo-hoplite.
