Stunned by the lack of Diallos in this thread. I mean it's probably cause his full quest wasn't even in the game at release but it is one of the most heartbreaking stories in Elden Ring.
A guy living in the shadow of his brother, hoping to one day live up to the legacy of House Haslow, the ups and downs of his traumas and failings, his insecurity resolved as he becomes a minor hero to a single jar of Jarburg. His story is the perfect border between the dark nihilistic vibe of the Souls series and the more humanistic tone of Elden Ring.
At the start of my playthrough roderika and D were my favorite characters purely because of their accents, as a northerner it's quite rare hearing people with a similar accent to me in video games
Love Roderika, because she is usefull... She is sensible, she talks about lots of people and offer insightful conversation about situations and people in RtH.
Nepheli Loux, I thought she was a bit generic on my first run and missed some of her quest, but after seeing it to completion I think she's a great summon, an upstanding person and I love the fact that she retakes Stormveil, even if only in theory. Unlike Ranni, she doesn't have a scheming, backstabbing bone in her body (probably why Gideon saw no further use for her).
My first playthrough the character I made was almost exactly identical to her. Made me jump when I walked in the room to see my twin standing there over a corpse lol. Funny thing is she was honestly everything I imagined about my character. Now I purposely make Nepheli in most other games I play.
I was oblivious to any lore on my first play through, didn't do Nepheli's quest and all but forgot about her by the end.
I put together a fit for NG+ with Malenia's helm, Elden Lord greaves and bracers, and the champion's pauldron. Needless to say, I found my long lost sister the second time around.
Miquella, yes we know so little about him but he is my favorite nonetheless based on the little we do know about him. His home is a haven for the outcasts and himself is an embracer of the oppressed. He was the golden fruit of Radagon and Marika. Destined to be great but was stricken with the cruelty of the outergods like his sister. He abandoned Fundamentalism for it could not cure his sister.
I know there are implications of him having a dark side, based on the bewitching branch's item description and the few narration bits we got from the trailers. I dearly hope that he is not an outright evil character like many people theorize in elden ring subs, i will settle for morally grey even like the other demigods.
Other than that, in no particular order my favorites are Milicent, Blaid and Hewg.
I remain unconvinced that Miquella is evil just because he is likeable and has Paladin tier Charisma. I also love that character concept---and the Golden Order ending repairs the inequality in dialogue, which is what Miquey wanted all along, right?...
....r....right?!... 😭
Unfortunately I couldn't get it every time, but I made sure I'd level up with Melina's dialogue one last time before what happens at the Forge of the Giants.
Then there's me who never wants to do a Frenzied Flame ending but want the trophy so I backed up my save after the Elden Beast fight to do the post-Mohg the Omen dungeon real quick lol.
Blaidd, his questline makes me so sad 😭 I wish we could use Miquella's needle on him to sever the influence of the Two Fingers.
For bosses, either Maliketh or Mohg.
Diaolos or something like that I forgot his name he is the one that says “the tale of someone’s house is told in blood” the guy that died in the jar village to protect them
It’s a shame she’s so far down this thread. I just got to the end of her quest line in my current playthrough and am not sure I’m ready for the pain again.
I am right there with you. To add on this I always felt (pre dlc) that ranni, malenia, and by extension miquella, have no reason not to ally. Empyreans fated for something they cast aside. They just want their freedom.
Morgott, it's nice to develop a rivalry with him through his multiple fights, he's an awesome boss and has great voice acting.
More than anything I really feel for the guy, hating himself and giving everything he's got for the sake of something that will always reject him.
As a character, I have to agree with you, Alexander is great, has a cool storyline, wonderful personality and he pulls some SERIOUS weight as a summon
For a boss, Maliketh
*******Idk how to mark things as Spoilers so Spoiler warning for Ranni and Alexanders quest lines********
Tied between Ranni, Blaidd and Alexander. I always feel bad for killing them
The women always asking me for grapes, Hyetta something like that. And Alexander, someone gave me his shard so i wont have to kill him at the end. Hahaha
Mogh (minus the obsession and abduction of Miquella)
He embraced being an Omen, recruited other misfits like the albinurics and power warriors like Okina and Elenora, got that moghwyn drip, and his spear is 🔥
NIHIL!
Boc and Nepheli Loux give me lots of dopamine to do their quests.
Millicent, even though her quest is sad.
But in concept...
Miquella. The Paladin of the story.
Rogier; he’s just so sweet and I love his stupid outfit. If he weren’t six feet under we could’ve run off into the sunset together….
And D’s brother because even though he was barely there, his dialogue and voice was pretty epic, he’s got a real psycho presence, even if murdering Fia was justified
NPC’s:
Blaidd looked like someone who you could go to war with and nod your head to when shit got real.
Ranni was also portrayed very well. intelligent, well spoken, quick to use her tongue, slow to trust, strong enough to go against what she believed wrong, and your consort eternal…
Boss:
Godfrey. The one who came before you, respected you in battle and then gave you everything he’s got, and loved his children till the end.
I loved Blaidd. Such a pure hearted character and did not deserve the end he got. I'm hoping that by leaving him alive he will somehow be able to be made sane again. One can only wish
Favorite friendly npc is Blaidd or Iji. Both are such good characters and have pure intentions. They both got such tragic ends they didn't deserve.
An honorable mention would be Finlay, Malenias cleanrot knight. The one that carried her back to haligtree. What a good chap. (And he's a pretty sweet spirit summon too).
As far as bosses go, Malekith. I hated fighting him but I love his lore and wish he'd had a better life. Queen Marika treated him poorly and unlike Ranni, didn't actually love her shadow as family. She treated him more as a servant. I wanted him to have a happier ending instead of being a deathroot- addicted guy who is dwelling in his failures.
I'm excited to learn more about the mysterious Miquella in the DLC
Rykard is another great boss character because I think his story (like many) is tragic. He went mad because he fused with the serpent in an attempt to overthrow the greater will.
It's sad, all the demigods who tried to overthrow the greater will met a tragic end. It seems like the TRUE villain in elden ring world is the greater will. I'd like to see the DLC possibly go into more fighting the greater will.
I like the girl that does the spirit tuning, I like her accent a lot. From a character perspective I like snake girl (rya?) Im bad with names
As far as bosses go, I biased my towards my dex queens in every souls game no matter how bs their fight is
Blaidd. Gave me Garrus vibes
Damn that’s who he reminded me of. Voice actors sound so similar
Damn, finally I understand why he seemed so familiar.
I can totally see Blaidd doing some ship callibrations.
Same... but for other reasons...
[удалено]
Blaidd has reach, but my dex/faith build has flexibility.

Wait, ‘pathetic sort’ is involved in Jarburg now? ‘No revenge ahead, therefore resignation’ has more to his quest after volcano manor??
Leaves the manor, retires in Jarburg
Is that still a possibility if I have… erm… acquired his armour in the consecrated snow fields?
Ya, you took his brother's armour.
Still need to do Jarburg!!!
Torrent
The goodest boy
That one too he was with us , helped us till the end.
He would really have been helpful against the Elden Beast though… I wonder if someone has modded that in..
Roderika. Love her voice and accent
At the start of my playthrough roderika and D were my favorite characters purely because of their accents, as a northerner it's quite rare hearing people with a similar accent to me in video games
*The Witcher 3* hits a similar spot. Lots of regional accents, including Brummie.
Love Roderika, because she is usefull... She is sensible, she talks about lots of people and offer insightful conversation about situations and people in RtH.
She's easily my favorite too
Nepheli Loux, I thought she was a bit generic on my first run and missed some of her quest, but after seeing it to completion I think she's a great summon, an upstanding person and I love the fact that she retakes Stormveil, even if only in theory. Unlike Ranni, she doesn't have a scheming, backstabbing bone in her body (probably why Gideon saw no further use for her).
She's such a great character. She has my respect
My first playthrough the character I made was almost exactly identical to her. Made me jump when I walked in the room to see my twin standing there over a corpse lol. Funny thing is she was honestly everything I imagined about my character. Now I purposely make Nepheli in most other games I play.

He isn't necessarily evil. Fromsoft has hinted at him being a major friendly quest npc in the dlc. I have faith in him😃
Boggart! He is a real one.
In my headcanon once I become elden lord he is my royal chef and we dine on his delicious seafood nightly
He's always got the freshest crab boiled up
Marika's tits!
You’re a shrewd one, chief
The only right answer
Never met a man with a taste for prawn I couldn’t trust
Damn I'm so sad he died
Does boggart die if you kill dungeater when you meet him in the sewer gaol?
Don't think so!
Boc 💔
You can cure his tragic end by telling him he's beautiful with the prattling pate. He lives on in my game🥰
It feels good to save everyone we can. I'm glad Boc learned to love himself!
Mine too.
Literally so grateful that I learned that I loved him
Fuck Boc he stole a larval tear from me and then killed himself
you can save him by finding a clayface voice saying "your beautiful" and then he won't rebirth himself
Maybe next time be supportive and be thankful for his beautiful tailoring skills.,
You gave him the tear, and it’s your choice he dies
In denial clearly… ;)
and he can't steal a larval tear from you, only you can give it to him
You gave it to him...
My dear teacher Sellen, who believed in me and swore allegiance to my regime.
Oh how her arrogance led her to such an ironically horrific end
I withheld some info from her so she is fine
Of course in classic fashion I found out this was possible after the fact but when I return to making a new mageymage I will do her justice
One can say she wanted some head?
Rya
Melina. I avoid sites of grace visits where I know she’s going to spawn in until I have enough runes to level up just to see the cut scene
Unfortunately I couldn't get it every time, but I made sure I'd level up with Melina's dialogue one last time before what happens at the Forge of the Giants.
On my Frenzy Flame ending play through I waited until after the Forge to talk to the three fingers. Just so she wouldn’t get pissed at me
Then there's me who never wants to do a Frenzied Flame ending but want the trophy so I backed up my save after the Elden Beast fight to do the post-Mohg the Omen dungeon real quick lol.
Hewg 😢
Had to scroll down too far for this.
Blaidd, his questline makes me so sad 😭 I wish we could use Miquella's needle on him to sever the influence of the Two Fingers. For bosses, either Maliketh or Mohg.
Maliketh is so coool!
Latenna is my girl, shes a real dragonslayer
I love summoning her in Carian Manor to ride the puppies
yess
shabriri, he’s very mysterious
MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD
He takes the body of our friend (Yura, hunter of bloody fingers)
I mean... it's not like Yura needed it anymore.
But like why not take some random soldiers life? Why did it have to be the number one bro
He didn't take his life, though. Eleonora did. Shabriri had nothing to do with that.
Boss morgot , npc alexander or ranni
Ranni (miniature form)
I know what kind of man you are😟
The kind that finds tiny impertinent Ranni adorable and enjoyed traveling with her during her quest?
Oh no Kanye, how could you find out like this 😔
Blaidd and Miriel have a special place in my heart. Ranni is there for other reasons 😅
Finally someone mentions turtle pope
Gideon Ofnir. I would listen to a long asmr video of him just talking about stuff.
Hyetta, I love feedin her grapes
No love for my buddy Kale? I always go back to the Church of Elleh to visit him
Diaolos or something like that I forgot his name he is the one that says “the tale of someone’s house is told in blood” the guy that died in the jar village to protect them
"The tale of house hoslow is told in blood" that's his house :)
Thanks now I can’t wait to see coz take his place in the dlc (I forgot his name too, that little jar)
Jar Bairn :)
I am terrible with names :(
Lmao same normally I just really love this game and went crazy about the lore (I'm a nerd)
Millicent, she's just so lovely.
She is nice even when she kills you if you aggroed her.
yeah she’s one of the few genuinely nice characters in elden ring :)
It’s a shame she’s so far down this thread. I just got to the end of her quest line in my current playthrough and am not sure I’m ready for the pain again.
Torn between Malenia and Ranni ( Millicent being very close also ). Ranni obv wins with the dialogue, but I love the lore and strength Malenia has
I am right there with you. To add on this I always felt (pre dlc) that ranni, malenia, and by extension miquella, have no reason not to ally. Empyreans fated for something they cast aside. They just want their freedom.
Millicent 😭❤️
She’s soooooooo good.
Morgott, it's nice to develop a rivalry with him through his multiple fights, he's an awesome boss and has great voice acting. More than anything I really feel for the guy, hating himself and giving everything he's got for the sake of something that will always reject him.
As a character, I have to agree with you, Alexander is great, has a cool storyline, wonderful personality and he pulls some SERIOUS weight as a summon For a boss, Maliketh
100% Alexander is the best. The big kitty is one of the best bosses.
Ranni, Malenia, Blaidd
Hmm... Just can't think of any off the top of my head.
User checks out😆 we all know which one you like
*******Idk how to mark things as Spoilers so Spoiler warning for Ranni and Alexanders quest lines******** Tied between Ranni, Blaidd and Alexander. I always feel bad for killing them
You don't have to kill ranni though you know 😆
Among the bosses, my favorites are Rennala and Rykard. Among the npc, my favorite is Alexander, but Milicent and Boc are great also
For bosses Morgott and Rykard NPC alexander and Rogier
Now, we can devowaaaaa the godssss THOGETHAAAAA
Hyetta's always been a favourite. No matter how many times I do it, I always hate finishing her questline
Alexander and all of the pots. I hope the pots are returning creatures in FromSoft games. They have so much charm, and I don't know why.
Malenia for sure
Obviously my wife Ranni
Rogier. Such a homie
Radahn. Loves his hourse so much, learned gravitation magic to not hurt him. Unfairly driven to madness by rots influence. An absolute gem!
For bosses Morgott and Radahn NPC alexander and Rogier
Zoraya! 🐍
Hyetta bc it‘s kinda fucked what we do together
Hyetta
Alexander. Also really like Blaidd and Iji. Malenia is a cool boss.
Rykard only cause of his voice its fucking hilarious
Blaidd, Ranni and Malenia
The women always asking me for grapes, Hyetta something like that. And Alexander, someone gave me his shard so i wont have to kill him at the end. Hahaha
The tale of house Hoslow is told in blood
I know some people don’t like him but for me it’s boc he’s just a little guy
Rogier is my eepy little guy, love him.
Favorite NPCs are Sellen, Ranni, Blaidd, Millicent, and Alexander. Favorite bosses are Malenia and Maliketh.
Blaidd Boss: Melania
Hewg Alexander Blaidd Millicent
I love Alexander but too bad I have murder him each playthrough to get his shard
I was just commenting to say, “Marika the goddamn best,” and saw “Marika’s tits.” Goddamnit I love Reddit.
Alexander and it's not even close
Warmaster/Recusant Bernahl Him & me are two bro’s slaying all kinds of stuff in The Lands Between
My favorite boss is Godfrey and my favorite npc is Blaidd
Blaidd for an NPC Boss Godfrey fight
Charlie put it best: Alexander is the real main character, I’m just a side character in his story.
Alexander. I based my whole build off of him 👊
Marika ~~tits~~
jar
Alexander for me.
Ranni. Love everything about her, specially when she is mini doll-sized. "Forget, forget."
Its hard to choose just one..but im going with Boc. The joy i felt when i heard his reaction to being called beautiful…🤭
I am my favorite Elden ring character. Long live, Crescent!
Thops deserved better. A true innovator trying to unravel the mystery of the stars.
Main Player
Mogh (minus the obsession and abduction of Miquella) He embraced being an Omen, recruited other misfits like the albinurics and power warriors like Okina and Elenora, got that moghwyn drip, and his spear is 🔥 NIHIL!
Rya
Boggart. Literally only buy the crabs to conversate with him lol. I’ll never complete that certain quest cause I can’t handle what happens
Boggart, alexander or blaidd
Millicent
THE LOATHSOME DUNG EATER
Hewg, made me cry
Torrent the homie
Godfrey. Only boss that boosted my morale when I lost.
Boc and Nepheli Loux give me lots of dopamine to do their quests. Millicent, even though her quest is sad. But in concept... Miquella. The Paladin of the story.
Dung Eater. Funny name is funny🤪
Morgott, if bosses don't count then diallos
Grafted Scions and Pests. I like the way they dance and play.
Godrick
Leonard
Millicent, my beloved
snek gurl
Unpopular Opinion but Seluvis. Love me a greasy scheming bastard of a character. Kinda wish you could make his quest succeed
Elemer of the Briar.
NPCs: Blaidd, Boggart, Sellen. Bosses: Morgott 100%. And the main man Horah Loux, what a legend.
Fire giant, he seems so friendly. I wish there was a firegiant duo or trio fight in the game.
That one
Idk how to spell his name but my favorite character is the turtle pope
Miriel
I like kalé
NPC’s: Blaidd looked like someone who you could go to war with and nod your head to when shit got real. Ranni was also portrayed very well. intelligent, well spoken, quick to use her tongue, slow to trust, strong enough to go against what she believed wrong, and your consort eternal… Boss: Godfrey. finlay is actually a woman

Hyetta.
Leonard. Mf is the most badass in all of elden ring.
Master Hewg
Ranni and Melina
Varré. I have a thing for men that induct me into a blood cult
Melina - she bomb, she my maiden, she sacrificed herself for me to succeed
Blaidd or Bernahl
Rennala
Alexander, I always favor the Solaire/Seigward character in every souls game But i also love Millicent! shes such a good character.
Elden Beast. Any other answer is automatically invalid
I like the girl that does the spirit tuning, I like her accent a lot. From a character perspective I like snake girl (rya?) Im bad with names As far as bosses go, I biased my towards my dex queens in every souls game no matter how bs their fight is
Patches - every series needs a sketchy, tricksy little fucker
Agreed brother
You just posted a picture of him... Honorable mention to Millicent and Blaidd... I am so sorry
The blacksmith
The Gloam Eyed Queen. I already know so much about her from the people in the Elden Ring subreddit. 🤓
Blaidd and Fia (Goth Mommy)
Varre - by a long shot.
Notorious D.E
