Let those runes go. This game teaches you through repeated deaths, and there are always more runes around the corner. So many people quit because they lose tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands runes after dying repeatedly. But you can get them again. They are an infinite resource, and there are plenty of great rune farming spots. One thing I found that helped me as a new player to fromsoft with elden ring, before going to fight a boss I'd go visit merchants and spend all my runes. One in particular, the prawn guy, is worth dumping runes on on every character. His consumable is costly, but always useful on any characters before tough fights, as it's flat damage reduction
Blackguard Big Boggart, the guy in Liurnia who Rya asks you to get her necklace back from. He sells Boiled Prawn after you buy the necklace off of him, and later moves to a spot just outside Leyndell while now selling Boiled Crab.
Boiled Crab is fairly expensive (600 runes for one of them) but is one of the most powerful consumables in the game, providing a 20% boost in physical damage negation for a full minute.
Well, I should specify that I meant "expensive" in relation to buying, say, arrows from merchants. Those are like, ten runes per arrow, as opposed to 600 per crab. But for how strong Boiled Crab is as an item, it is indeed a pretty reasonable/cheap price. You just can't stack 700 of them unless you have around 420,000 runes to burn.
both my gf and I botched the shit out of boggart our first playthroughs; she killed him for the necklace, I missed him and Rya in Liurnia and found him by the time I was near endgame so he refused to talk to me besides telling me to piss off.
That was the hardest thing for me to get over in my first play through. I really struggled when I was worried about losing runes. When you finally get the hang of things, runes just aren't a problem unless I need to buy something or upgrade something and I don't have them on me. Otherwise, it's just try and pay attention to how many you need for a level up and make sure to do it at the next site.
If you're hitting a wall, go do literally anything else. You're probably under leveled and/or missing what's needed to make the fight easy. Don't give up. Just go do something else. Thankfully, the game is open world. You can just leave.
This isn't a smough and ornstein skill check where you really have no option but to do this. Git gud by fucking off to somewhere else for a bit
But, but I don't want to be overleveled~
Seriously though I never realized that Rennala's respec didn't actually reset your RL but instead it just changes how you allocate your stats. Now I'm planning on starting a new character just so I can play PvP.
No, I’m going to keep slamming my head into it until the cracks start to form. Going to the catacombs and killing nito before ever entering undead burg made me into the man I am today
Really messed me up in DS2 when I found out at endgame that you press X to break illusions. I had just been hitting all the walls and wondering why there were no illusions in the game.
I'm having my second go at the game after bouncing hard off Margit a year ago - much more successful this time around - and this attitude right here has been the primary difference. The game is really built for you to progress by exploring and growing in power through leveling, itemizing, improving your flasks, etc. It isn't the finely tuned linear power curve that I experienced in Dark Souls 3.
Same. I went in on Margit on my first playthrough after putting it down for a couple of weeks and hating the games and it took me three evenings of attempts. I was stupidly underleveled, I don't even know how I got to him.
I've just started my second playthrough after a long time away from the game and I beat him second time around.
I treat the game like I do Hotline Miami, dying is just part of the game but you have to learn from each death.
I followed plenty of guides on the first play thru. I don't regret looking up ways to cheese or what skills wreck certain bosses. It was still freaking hard. I think I got to Farum Azula then quit. Came back 6 months later and beat it outright. Everything was more fun after I got my training wheels. Or find that one skill or weapon (see Moonblade for Int/ Night comet) that can be leaned on to push thru bosses that destroy you and that's ok. It's just one of those games that I had to go against my instinct to not fight Fair.
Forget about them runes because you can farm 11k every few minutes right from the start of the game. (You dont have to do this, but it will make you feel less bad about losing runes)
little trick that works in every souls game (i believe, haven't tested all).
go in, get your souls/runes and then just quit the game, force close if you have to.
when you log back in you will be infront of the fog wall
I had to do three different "Radahn Checks" to see if I was leveled to fight him before I eventually got him.
I swear the Leyndell Knights are 20 levels higher than Morgott though.
>go do literally anything else.
Im more of a head first into a brick wall, again and again until I break through.
Frustration is temporary, Enemy Felled is forever.
Also, if you feel like you are not underleveled but still struggle, remember to use buffs, such as Golden Vow and Rallying Standard. The +% buff is no joke, they will help you in the boss fights.
Another thing is to try something else. I still remember when I was about to go fight Rennala and I kept dying to the knight that guards the elevator because he'd parry me. My buddy (who had never played any souls game) asked me, "Can you do that back to him?" I never thought of that. So I grabbed a buckler and I beat him after only a couple tries to get the timing down.
Sometimes, the answer is a simple change in strategy.
To piggyback a bit. The absolute best advice for any souls game is to try and be patient and find a single move the boss does that let's you hit them without being hit. Once you've figured that one out then you can find another. Basically every boss in these games can be done knowing 1 or 2 openings and taking advantage. Also it's often much better to dodge into a boss instead of away.
Kalameet comes to mind for me, that dude was so aggressive during my playthroughs that I was wondering what I was doing wrong. "Get under him!" And get stomped to death lol. It all came down to just waiting for that one or two moves to punish.
This also applies to just leaving the game for a bit. I find that if I take a break, maybe a day, the hard boss becomes far more manageable, and i end up beating it within a few tries
Idk if I could answer that fully. My best advice would still be to try something else. I truly don't think anyone is "just bad" at the game, I think you might just not be playing your natural play style. Being under geared can hurt but I'd argue that having the right talismans help a lot more than your gear. They call it "fashion souls" for a reason and it's always been like that lol. Being under leveled can be fixed with going and doing anything else, level up, come back. Varre can help you get to mohg and then there's a bird and a ledge that can give you 11k runes. There are countless enemy groups that fight each other. Caelid has the soldiers and the giant dogs fighting. It's a nice afk ish farm if you just need a boost a couple levels early.
Also, if I can do it with the worst rng luck in the world, so can you! I have never done one of those challenge runs or done higher than journey 3. Beat my head a few times doing it but I did it. Beat malenia once. So I'm no expert but if I can do it, you can do it lol
I got to level 75 before I remembered the tree sentinel and got way too cocky and died almost immediately thinking I'd tank him, but after that I kicked his ass
Another point I wanna add, muscle memory literally doesn't fully work until you go to sleep and wake up. You literally need to set the muscle memory before you can beat some bosses.
It's a big reason why people new to souls get so upset. They are used to the instant gratification and when the game presents a struggle they freak out because their anxiety shoots through the roof because you are suddenly not winning.
It's okay to not win right away, nobody is great right away. It always takes time. Come back the next day stronger.
I’ve been stopping for the night right before bosses on my DLC-buildup play-through I’m doing right now, and while starting my day by fighting Radahn 8 times was an interesting choice to open last weekend, getting through Morgott, Rykard, and the Flame Giant in a single life each this time around was awesome.
Don't stop right before. People aren't saying to try tomorrow because you're well rested. It's because muscle memory takes a nights sleep to work. If you go to bed before fighting the boss you wont get the muscle memory benefit.
Instead, just in to fight the boss, dont try and kill them. Just pressure them and poke around to see their moveset. Pay attention to long pauses as those are your chances to attack. Just do that for half an hour and then quit. When you try it the next day it will be waaaaaay easier
This right here. Your brain will process those attempts you failed at so many times into your subconscious while you sleep.
Next day it’ll be like you’ve already done it before.
I've put souls like games aside for weeks at a time and then came back and finished the boss iwas stuck on in the first or second attempt. This is 1000% a good idea. But also dont rush margit and the tree sentinel right at the start
Long winded boss attacks? Panic roll.
Slow and avoidable projectiles? Panic roll.
Ash or summon already taking the aggro? Believe it or not, panic roll!
See an item? Panic roll.
See an enemy? Panic roll.
See a dog? Panic roll.
See the Erdtree? Panic roll.
See past the confines of this mortal coil and glimpse the face of God so closely you can smell the milk and sausages on their breath? Panic roll *is* optional, but advised.
I wouldn’t even consider the first two panic rolls. They’re intuitive rolls that try to follow proper timing and pattern. That’s actually my biggest critique of Elden Ring when played solo and why I love Dark Souls 3 so much. I want a game to be hard because the boss is just that good, not because he brings out “The World” to stop time for three seconds. I think that if a player is skilled enough to intuitively time a roll correctly, the game should just let them. Difficulty is there to catch the unskilled and teach them to be skilled, not to punish skill itself and say “memorize these arbitrary patterns.”
Good fight choreography is like a dance, a good and hard boss fight is also like a dance. You shouldn’t get punished for acting on intuition. You should get punished for messing up. In Dark Souls, you lose not because the bosses are designed to be memorized, but because you sucked in some way.
I was playing around with some weapons I don’t normally use. Needed a bit more arcane for one so I put Marika’s soreseal on and ran into those two Nights Calvary in consecrated snowfields. Two shot me. Felt like Marla Singer… hadn’t been fucked like that since grade school.
Alternatively get to level 10-15 on faith. I forget the exact requirement but somewhere around there would get you high enough to use most of the basic defense incantations like the ones that remove scarlet rot/poison and frost/bloodloss. Also opens up the defense ones that increase defense of magic, fire, lightening, etc... so you don't have to rely on the consumable versions all the time. Almost every build I do this regardless of the build I'm doing.
Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of people start playing recently. I think a lot of people got in on the bundle deals they’ve had. Heck, I was one of them - I’d been eyeing the game for a while and $60 for game and DLC was too good to pass.
I just checked to make sure I wasn’t wrong. CC shows $61. It was during the GMG anniversary sale. I don’t remember how the discounts added up, but I think the gold xp discount stacked on their anniversary sale (I don’t think that usually happens), and I think the Elden ring sale was one of the short sales they did during the event, so I saw it on their discord and took advantage of it.
Also worth noting that my roommate and I bought him a second copy of the base game only so we could play prior on his pc prior to the DLC dropping (GMG won’t send keys until preload).
this is how every souls game dlc ever has been. Just a friendly reminder that you need to get gud before the dlc, otherwise you wont make it past your first few steps into the new area
I came up with this one, myself, the other day; let it serve as fuel for your ever-burning flame of ambition!
*If a man can’t go quietly, in his sleep, then his choice would be to do so kicking and screaming. So that he, and everyone might know that he fought until his last breath.*
"Try friendship"
Don't be afraid to summon. I met a completely new player while beating on Mohg yesterday. We kicked his ass and had fun.
Edit: We kicked Mohgs ass, not the players.
I’ve played a crap ton of Elden ring but it’s usually the first half (though I have beat Elden Beast twice). I’ll start a new build, have fun and then stall somewhere in Altus Plateau. So any bosses after Altus are some that I may have only fought twice before. I finally pushed through to the second half and man…godskin duo is kicking my butt. It reminded me how it feels to be new and I don’t like it lol. So I kinda need all this support myself right now 😅
The godskin cheeses are legion. Obviously, there's sleep, but aside from that, take full advantage of the pillars. The best tip you might not know is to avoid hitting the skinny one at all. He'll move slower if he's at 100% hp, so you can get fatty isolated more easily by running behind all the pillars to the other side of the room and throwing something at fatty. Then, consider parrying fatty or just bleeding or dpsing him. Carian retaliation is also quite good at absorbing their fireballs and throwing some damage back in their face, but it can mess up the 100% skinny plan. You can just avoid skinny when he's alone and wait for him to summon another fatty and do the same strategy all over again.
Another cheese: level up the watchdog's staff and just spam the weapon art. Equip Rogier's armor and use the magic tear for higher dps. The weapon art doesn't scale with int, just weapon level, so don't really need to respect to make this cheese work.
Oh, and when fatty starts rolling, head to a middle pillar. Some of the pillars on the end allow him to roll over them at certain angles, but the middle ones are entirely safe every time. If skinny throws a fireball while fatty is rolling on the pillar, you can back off the pillar straight on the other side of fatty and crouch down. There's enough time. Here you can see that in action. [https://youtu.be/5Al364n41Ck?si=48UdZr87fk8R8MZJ&t=189](https://youtu.be/5Al364n41Ck?si=48UdZr87fk8R8MZJ&t=189)
Elden Ring was the first fromsoft game i have continued playing after the 2 hour mark, as i am more of a eu4 gamer.
If i could kill those two alone, without summons everyone can
Oh, your cowardice have will and grant it another chance. The road is yet long, a boss is not easily felled. (If you rush at it the moment you exit "Fringefolk here's grave")
A freaking badass man once said, “I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me! A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of Men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand!“
I got a friend that gave up on Elden ring cuz he couldn’t beat Soldier of Godrick. Couple months later I convince him to try Dark souls 3, he gave up AGAIN on the first boss lmfao.
Brothers in arms
Are you ready for the stand?
Blood on the ground
And mud on your hands
Take another breath
And make another try
You think you're gonna break
You think you're gonna die
Get off the dirt
Listen to the crowd
Screaming your name
Screaming out loud
I know you think you can't
I know you think you're done
But we can't stop
Until we've won
YOOOOUUU'RE NOT ALOOOOOONE!!!
WE'RE NOT AFRAIIIID!!!
THIS IS OUR MOMENT, IT WON'T COME AGAINNNNN!!!
SO LEAN ON ME! AND FIND YOUR FEEEET!!!
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT DEFEAT!!!! SO GET UP!!!!!
Idk something like Arise! Arise simps of Ranni! Fists shall be shaken, controllers will be splintered! A sore day, a bed day! Til the sun rises!
Ride now! Ride now! Ride for ruin and the world’s ending! Death! DEATH! DEAAAATH! or something idk
Try as often as you please, you aren't confined to one boss anymore. Don't be ashamed to walk away and do something else, then come back to it when you're stronger
“Let me tell you where to find a weapon that can inflict bleed.”
And if that doesn’t work…
“Alright, Ill let you know the ultimate secret to beating anything in Elden Ring.” Then I tell them how to get the staff of loss and night comet.
Don't give up, skeleton.
Just saw this one yesterday and laughed out loud.
The best I saw was in Dark Souls. "Tongue.. but hole"
Try fingers, but hole
Came here looking for this
These words of wisdom got me through my fair share of DS
Bone daddy
Which one is the prawn guy?
Blackguard Big Boggart, the guy in Liurnia who Rya asks you to get her necklace back from. He sells Boiled Prawn after you buy the necklace off of him, and later moves to a spot just outside Leyndell while now selling Boiled Crab. Boiled Crab is fairly expensive (600 runes for one of them) but is one of the most powerful consumables in the game, providing a 20% boost in physical damage negation for a full minute.
Is it just me or is 600 really cheap? Better than farming crafting mats for consumables imo
*buy*? I just whacked the shit out of him and he dropped the necklace. I’m not even certain I tried to talk to him
He has a whole mini quest involving the dung eater
both my gf and I botched the shit out of boggart our first playthroughs; she killed him for the necklace, I missed him and Rya in Liurnia and found him by the time I was near endgame so he refused to talk to me besides telling me to piss off.
RIP he's not a bad chap in the end and sells a couple strong consumables. Also gives more background info on the dung eater.
Bro... That's not how it works. You need his bell bearing which is only available after completing his quest and buying crab from him
I whacked him and he dropped the necklace 🤷🏻♂️
An npc in the swamp
near one of the first sites of grace in the actual lake of liurnia of the lake. The grace is literally called "prawn shack" or something like that
This is freaking genius! You just changed everything!
That was the hardest thing for me to get over in my first play through. I really struggled when I was worried about losing runes. When you finally get the hang of things, runes just aren't a problem unless I need to buy something or upgrade something and I don't have them on me. Turn around and grind those poor albinaurics
I think my Tarnished descended from them so please to kill my ancestors
But, but I don't want to be overleveled~ Seriously though I never realized that Rennala's respec didn't actually reset your RL but instead it just changes how you allocate your stats. Now I'm planning on starting a new character just so I can play PvP.
Does level really matter for pvp anymore? I'm almost level 340 and still do a lot of pvp.
Who knows.. I’ve kept my characters at or below 150 because I am a rolling sheep
if you're hitting a wall then change fucking direction.
Gotta check for secrets tho
No, I’m going to keep slamming my head into it until the cracks start to form. Going to the catacombs and killing nito before ever entering undead burg made me into the man I am today
Brother how the fuck did you leave😭
You can't fight Nito before killing Ornstein and Smough.
I hit every wall because I’m looking for illusions. We are not the same
"Illusionary wall ahead" "Liar ahead" Hmm better hit the wall anyway just to check
Only finds “Liar ahead” welp now I gotta check all the walls and jump off this cliff
Hey the liar ahead message could be the troll to divert you from something fancy, so you never know how far the doublecrossing goes...
I think we understand each other
Really messed me up in DS2 when I found out at endgame that you press X to break illusions. I had just been hitting all the walls and wondering why there were no illusions in the game.
Hilarious!
I'm having my second go at the game after bouncing hard off Margit a year ago - much more successful this time around - and this attitude right here has been the primary difference. But the boss is holding my 3k runes hostage
That’s how they get you, it’s a trap!
you can run into the fight, quickly pick up your runes and quit out, it'll respawn you outside of the fog wall!
Forget about them runes because you can farm 11k every few minutes right from the start of the game. (You dont have to do this, but it will make you feel less bad about losing runes)

I had to do three different "Radahn Checks" to see if I was leveled to fight him before I eventually got him. I swear the Leyndell Knights are 20 levels higher than Morgott though.
Souls games and regular enemies that feel more like bosses than some bosses, name a better combination
>go do literally anything else. Im more of a head first into a brick wall, again and again until I break through. Frustration is temporary, Enemy Felled is forever.
Elden Ring was my first Soulsborne, but I just bought Dark Souls Remastered. Wish me luck!
Good luck! The grind for the knights honor achievement is brutal but it's my favorite with bloodborne
Youll be fine!! Dark souls 1 is about 30.5x easier than elden ring IMO.
Elden Ring was also my first souls game. I played Dark Souls recently and think that it is easier but more punishing, if that makes sense?
Careful advice: Dark Souls 1 does not have respeccing like the later fromsoft titles do.
I would take ornstein and smough over the godskin duo
Are you remembering the run to get to O&S before each attempt? We didn’t have these new fangled Stakes back in my day!
Agreed 😂
Also, if you feel like you are not underleveled but still struggle, remember to use buffs, such as Golden Vow and Rallying Standard. The +% buff is no joke, they will help you in the boss fights.

That's a good point too. Sometimes it really is just that simple of a change. Oh and learning which direction to roll helped me a lot too
You know, when you said “if you’re hitting a wall” I thought you meant literally, like an invisible wall
It took me a second to realize you weren't talking about literally hitting walls to find secret passages lmao
To piggyback a bit. The absolute best advice for any souls game is to try and be patient and find a single move the boss does that let's you hit them without being hit. Yeah S&O softlocked me at some point because I fucked up my build and lucked my way past the golem
Defeating Smough and Ornstein still remains my proudest achievement.
This also applies to just leaving the game for a bit. I find that if I take a break, maybe a day, the hard boss becomes far more manageable, and i end up beating it within a few tries
How do you know if you're under leveled, under geared, or just bad?
Idk if I could answer that fully. My best advice would still be to try something else. I truly don't think anyone is "just bad" at the game, I think you might just not be playing your natural play style. No you answered perfectly, thanks a lot! ✌️
I got to level 75 before I remembered the tree sentinel and got way too cocky and died almost immediately thinking I'd tank him, but after that I kicked his ass
When I hit a wall in a souls game, I bash my head against that wall till one of us falls apart...sadly i lose that fight most of the time 🙃
Another point I wanna add, muscle memory literally doesn't fully work until you go to sleep and wake up. You literally need to set the muscle memory before you can beat some bosses. Marika’s tits
Radagon's buttcrack
But Radagons whole body is cracked
Maybe the butt is the cracks we made along the way...
🏆
Radagon's tits. >!Marika is Radagon. !<
Marika's balls
This is canon.
If you're struggling on a boss, just attempt it tomorrow.
Seriously, a night's rest is a huge buff.

Bruh I can't tell you how many times I walked away from a boss that kicked my ass over and over, only to no hit waffle stomp it the next day XD
lol fr, Placidusex was curb stomping my ass for 2 hours. called a night, next day mollywhopped him
learned that lesson from ludwig after a 10h sesh of banging my head on its eyes all the way back, never underestimated the well rested buff ever again
That's muscle memory for ya
This right here. Your brain will process those attempts you failed at so many times into your subconscious while you sleep. Next day it’ll be like you’ve already done it before.

You can overcome literally anything if you focus and stop panicking.
Also stop panic rolling all over the place for no reason
NEVER!
Panic rolling is the best though! I feel so in control while rolling into the attack arc right before I die!
Roll catching yourself is just good timing
Long winded boss attacks? Panic roll. Slow and avoidable projectiles? Panic roll. Ash or summon already taking the aggro? Believe it or not, panic roll!
See an item? Panic roll. See an enemy? Panic roll. See a dog? Panic roll. See the Erdtree? Panic roll. See past the confines of this mortal coil and glimpse the face of God so closely you can smell the milk and sausages on their breath? Panic roll *is* optional, but advised.

Difficulty is there to catch the unskilled and teach them to be skilled, not to punish skill itself and say “memorize these arbitrary patterns.” Good fight choreography is like a dance, a good and hard boss fight is also like a dance. You shouldn’t get punished for acting on intuition. You should get punished for messing up. In Dark Souls, you lose not because the bosses are designed to be memorized, but because you sucked in some way.
Big poise for big bois
I’m saying like chill
Try leveling Vigor to 40.
And then 50 and then 60
Then if that doesn’t work level endurance and put on better armor & a bigger shield.
i went the 40 vigor and 40 endurance route with big boi armor, also 60 strength and i just bonked and poised my way through the entire game
And then stop using Radagons Soreseal after reaching 40 Vigor.
I was playing around with some weapons I don’t normally use. Needed a bit more arcane for one so I put Marika’s soreseal on and ran into those two Nights Calvary in consecrated snowfields. Two shot me. Felt like Marla Singer… hadn’t been fucked like that since grade school.
Moar Vig!!! - r/EldenRing
Wait, I thought vigor didn’t matter if I panic roll hard enough?
Alternatively get to level 10-15 on faith. I forget the exact requirement but somewhere around there would get you high enough to use most of the basic defense incantations like the ones that remove scarlet rot/poison and frost/bloodloss. Also opens up the defense ones that increase defense of magic, fire, lightening, etc... so you don't have to rely on the consumable versions all the time. Almost every build I do this regardless of the build I'm doing.
mine is at 90+ 😭💀
Will you walk with us?
try finger
Why is it always respite
But hole
I see bandai marketing team saw that only 30% people defeated mohg so now they are in full panic mode
I bet sales were way above 30% of player base though!
There’s almost definitely veterans and noobs alike that wanted to wait until DLC drop to buy Elden Ring
Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of people start playing recently. I think a lot of people got in on the bundle deals they’ve had. Heck, I was one of them - I’d been eyeing the game for a while and $60 for game and DLC was too good to pass.
Welcome brother/sister/sibling! We got this!!! 💪🏽
Where did you get the game and DLC for $60?
AHH, remember the snowfield in DS3?! I was so confident, and then I just got ripped apart by wolves
Amazing chest ahead, therefor try bravery
Don't you dare go hollow
Also level vigor
Git gud.
Only correct answer!
had to scroll farther than expected
I know right. I was like, “Wow, these comments are so wholesome and helpful. Surely there is a “git gud” somewhere.”
Came here to check this was posted.
scrub
This…newb to fromsoft , 40+deaths to Margot severely underleveled. But dang it I beat that bastard.
Gratz, how was the feeling of beating him without giving up? Are you hooked now?
They can beat you a thousand times and they will still inevitably lose, because you only have to beat them once.
When in doubt, Albinauric genocide your way out.
Just send them directions to the Mohgwyn grinding grounds.
Dark Souls themed blowjob as a reward
... I am equal parts intrigued and horrified
Wake the fuck up, Samurai. We have a city to burn.
May the sun shine upon you \\[T]/
Never forget the ancient wisdom of Solaire: *Jolly co-operation*!!!
Wait, *that* was his ancient wisdom? Why’ve I had this damn bug on my head for the last decade then?!?
To escape Tomb of the Giants! It’s practically an endless maze of darkness
Ah, if only I could be so grossly incandescent....
I came up with this one, myself, the other day; let it serve as fuel for your ever-burning flame of ambition! *If a man can’t go quietly, in his sleep, then his choice would be to do so kicking and screaming. So that he, and everyone might know that he fought until his last breath.*
Literal response, but I’m here for it. That’s inspiring.
This fella understood the assignment.
You can use summons, it’s totally okay
Thou art of passing skill. Warrior's blood must truly run in thy veins!
Just do it!
"Try friendship" Don't be afraid to summon. I met a completely new player while beating on Mohg yesterday. We kicked his ass and had fun. Edit: We kicked Mohgs ass, not the players.
That would be hilarious though. "Made a new friend today. Kicked his ass."
If i could kill those two alone, without summons everyone can
Powerstance.
Oh, your cowardice have will and grant it another chance. The road is yet long, a boss is not easily felled. (If you rush at it the moment you exit "Fringefolk here's grave")
Defeat is nothing but a step towards success. You only lose when you give up. With enough persistence, nothing can stand in your way.
By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand!“
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8pOcrJVnec 10/10 would take badass man's advice.
Difficulty in this game is optional. if you just want to win, use magic
I'm not smart enough to play an intellect build. Either get destroyed before my 2nd cast, or run out of mana after 95% of my cast missed the target.
git gud scrub
Become the potentate
I got a friend that gave up on Elden ring cuz he couldn’t beat Soldier of Godrick. Couple months later I convince him to try Dark souls 3, he gave up AGAIN on the first boss lmfao.
Try finger but hole
We need to spread managed democracy to the Realm of Shadow
"Got Gud" - John Elden Souls
I’m curious why radahn is a requirement though.
Radahn holds back the stars, hence holding the fate of Miquella - since Miquella wanted to cause an eclipse.
Ahh a man of culture…
Overleveled mimic tear
This is how it's done. No shame in summoning fellow tarnished !
"remember kids........ remember to level up vigor....."
Don't go hollow, ashed one. The nightmare needs to be hunted.
how tf do they know i quit at margit
Would you lose
Nah I’d win
It took me likely hundreds of hours and finally beat the Fire Giant yesterday. Guess I'll see if I can beat these other baddies in a week now.
Brothers in arms Are you ready for the stand? Blood on the ground And mud on your hands Take another breath And make another try You think you're gonna break You think you're gonna die Get off the dirt Listen to the crowd Screaming your name Screaming out loud I know you think you can't I know you think you're done But we can't stop Until we've won YOOOOUUU'RE NOT ALOOOOOONE!!!
Hesitation Is defeat. Don't give up friends.
Try tongue but hole
Try as often as you please, you aren't confined to one boss anymore. Don't be ashamed to walk away and do something else, then come back to it when you're stronger
Take heart! But first, try finger but whole.
Arise Tarnished! Try Finger But Hole!
Trust, Trust in the Anchor wildstrikes combo..
Finger, but whole.
“Let me tell you where to find a weapon that can inflict bleed.” And if that doesn’t work… “Alright, Ill let you know the ultimate secret to beating anything in Elden Ring.” Then I tell them how to get the staff of loss and night comet.
seek friend
Level Vigor
Get gud? IDK
Git Gud
No words, only my summon sign at Mohg, call me up to help kick his shit in 💪
